George Galloway: fanning the flames of Islam and Muslims against the EDL

George Galloway is one of the most vile, disgusting, anti-Semetic individuals you might ever read about. He has been a speaker at many Anti-Israel events at many colleges and universities in this country. He has backed, in one way or another every 'aid' flotilla sent to gazastan. Georgie boy seldom hides his hatred for Israel, the Jews, and is quite popular with Muslims in England. I suspect he is quite popular throughout the Islamic world. The EDL is one of the very few groups inside England battling Islam and sounding the call against Islam and Muslim immigration gone wild.

Galloway probed for ‘inflammatory’ speech at rally

HeraldScotland.com: Police are examining complaints that George Galloway gave an inflammatory speech at a rally attended by thousands of Muslims in which he claimed that far-right English Defence League (EDL) activists would have to fight their way “through 10,000 dead bodies” if they interfered with members of the Islamic faith in Britain.

The Metropolitan Police said officers are now looking into statements made by the left-wing Scottish politician during the speech made to more than 3,000 people at a rally and march in London in June.

The police have video footage of the former Glasgow MP, who is a founding member of the Respect Party, telling the rally: “To the EDL, take a look around you boys. Take a look around you. If you dare touch a hijab [hair cover] on a Muslim woman’s head, if you dare touch the hair on the beard of a Muslim man in Tower Hamlets, you will have to fight your way through 10,000 dead bodies first.”

A police spokesman said: “The complaints have been referred to officers and they are being considered. There is no formal investigation as yet and we are assessing the evidence.”

Footage of the Dundee-born former MP’s speech was also placed online at YouTube under the heading: “Why half a million Brits vote BNP. George Galloway incites race violence.”

Organisers said the London rally and march at which Galloway gave his speech was called with a view to showing the English Defence League that attempts to divide the community and stir up hatred will not be tolerated.

The event was organised by United East End and Unite Against Fascism in an area where 30% are Bengali/Muslim.

A march took the protesters past the East London Mosque – said to be an EDL target – where the annual general meeting of the Muslim Council of Britain is to be held.

The EDL, which has repeatedly claimed that the mosque is a centre for Islamic extremism, called off a demonstration against an Islamic conference due to be held on the same day.

Tower Hamlets Council had earlier called on both the EDL protest, as well as the Islamic conference, to be cancelled, labelling both events “extremist”.

Supporters of Galloway say that the firebrand politician is now being targeted by the EDL.

Four days before the march, Galloway’s Respect Party claimed that 20 EDL activists, who they described as “fascist thugs”, attacked a Pakistani stallholder in nearby Whitechapel. It is alleged they yelled racist insults and threatened to attack the East London Mosque.

Some days after the controversial speech, between 10 and 20 EDL members attempted to storm a meeting Galloway was speaking at in Greater Manchester.

It is understood most were stopped from getting into the hall by security guards.

Some observers say that three were forcibly removed from the scene while a fourth who got into the meeting room was arrested by police.

The EDL claimed that the members showed “the peace sign and were not aggressive” before being “set upon by a gang of Muslims”. They claimed one of the members was “taken hostage and beaten up”.

An EDL statement said “armed police were called and entered the building” and arrested a member.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that they moved in after being alerted of disruption to a community meeting.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and has been bailed until September 27 pending further inquiries.

One Million United, the anti-fascist group, says it has evidence that the EDL is arranging another attempt “to get to Galloway”.

During the last General Election Galloway lost his attempt to win the Poplar and Limehouse seat, finishing third; he didn’t attend the count.

Greetings Wheels on the Road (WOTR) readers, fellow South Floridians, and indeed all Americans. It is time for our monthly political assessment, and do we have lots to assess.

I am writing from the home of my dear friend LtCol Neal Puckett (USMC, Ret) in Alexandria Va who just successfully defended US Navy SEAL Matthew McCabe. I have a week of evening meetings in DC and on station work in nearby Crystal City. After getting settled I took a nice late morning run through Alexandria and along the Potomac. As I raced along, my mind also raced along thinking about all that has recently occurred, and the incredible ramifications.

The BP oil rig crisis was first to enter my thoughts, and my condolences to the families of those who lost their loved ones. It has truly become what was characterized as a "ridiculous spectacle". There is no reason why those we elect to oversee our Nation have no clue about deep water oil drilling emergency management procedures. Leadership is about anticipating, analyzing, and executing viable solutions, before the incident occurs; that is what we call vision. Leadership is not about the immature game of pointing fingers and laying blame. As well, leadership is not about saying "mea culpa" and giving up on what is a national security, economic, and jobs, issue for our Nation.

Our dear fearful leader President Obama fashioned himself as a reincarnation of President's Lincoln and Roosevelt. I must remind him that after the devastating attack on Pearl Harbor, Roosevelt delivered an address evidencing leadership, and vision. Furthermore, he did not look to blame, but wanted answers to prevent another such event. However, most importantly Roosevelt did not cower away, he thought of how this Nation could respond in kind.....which resulted in the Doolittle Raid on Tokyo.

That is leadership, that is American leadership.

Also, did you all realize that there was a catastrophic weather event in Nashville Tennessee? Hmm, funny, the President never visited the city nor publicly offered regards, something that has not gone unnoticed.

Did you all notice that we had a terrorist attack in New York City? Yes, in Times Square, there was a fella who was upset about losing his home to foreclosure and decided to act as a lone wolf and wanted to blow up just a couple of people.....so the media and the Obama Administration would love for us to believe. Another embarrassing moment for Attorney General Holder, Director of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, and the other cast members of "The Gang who cannot Think Straight".

Just this past week, when queried before a Senate panel on radical Islam being an impetus behind the rash of domestic terrorist activity, Holder stated that "he was not comfortable" with that premise. This of course comes along with his desire to file a lawsuit against the State of Arizona for a law which he admited to not reading.

I will never forgive Holder for referring to our Country as a "nation of cowards". But when I consider the inept and incompetent person which he is, well, I do have pity on him.

In the last month we have seen Greece explode in riots. This is obviously what happens when you allow people to retire at age 55 with 80% pensions, truly an entitlement class. When they were told that the government of Greece is bankrupt and will finally have to act fiscally responsible, hmmm, see what happens. Now, here we are in the US with debt in the trillions, we decide to lend Greece $1Trillion, which we had to borrow. And do not forget that we have 47% of Americans who do not pay federal income taxes but are being promised free everything....do you see a pattern or worse, a parallel?

Socialist economic theory has never been successful, why do the liberal intellectual elites believe they can make it so in America? Our success in 233 years has been based upon a work ethic and free market principles, how long before what is happening in Europe, and with the Euro, comes to America?

Economics 101, revenues increase when taxation is lightest, will someone please inform the occupants of the White House and Capitol Hill that immutable maxim. Also, get the CBO a new calculator since somehow they miscalculated the Healthcare law costs by some $250 Billion.

Speaking of miscalculation, the latest from Afghanistan is that the leadership has proposed a new medal, an award for "Courageous Restraint". Yes, you heard me right, the military leadership in Afghanistan is considering awarding combat troops for "NOT FIRING BACK". There have been some fairly insidious plans proposed in the history of warfare, but never an award for Warriors to not fight. I know, the liberal intellectual elites are going to call me brutish and mean. The leadership proposing this inane action is going to say, "it is about protecting the Afghan civilians". My retort is simple, and comes from two opposing Civil War Generals; General Wm T Sherman, "War is hell" and Cavalry General N Bedford Forest, "War is about fighting, and fighting means killing".

If we do not want our Men and Women in combat to fight and kill the enemy, I say we retrograde from Afghanistan. The promotion of hesitation in combat by senior military leaders means that more of our American treasure will lose their lives and be forever maimed. I have been in a firefight, it is about gaining and maintaining the initiative, not restraint.

And speaking of restraint, how many Senators will show restraint and not vote to confirm Elena Kagan? Actually, it is not about restraint, it is about moral courage, ok, I just answered my own question. If I were sitting there in the US Senate I could tell you right now what my vote would be, No. No to anyone who would file an amicus brief challenging the Solomon Amendment which allows ROTC recruiting on college campuses. Ms Kagan made the cowardly decision to not confront the Clinton administration or the Congress, but rather evidenced her anti-military sentiments. She and her compatriots were soundly defeated 8-0 by the Supreme Court, however, if she were to be on the bench of our Nation highest court and same case came before her........

Soon we will need Justices who make decisions for our Constitutional Republic and its borders, language, and culture, no more activist judges in our federal court systems. How would judges rule in the case of five young Americans who were suspended from school for wearing US flags on their shirts?

Just for clarification, Cinco de Mayo recognizes the victory of the Mexican milita against the French at the Battle of Puebla, 1862. Mexico actually gained its independence on 16 September 1821. Cinco de Mayo is not even a national Mexican celebration, just a regional one, therefore the premise of suspending these young men is false. This incident combined with the support to disregard our borders and laws is very disconcerting.

Lastly, I addressed the true "party of political intimidation" last month, the Democrat party. And it did not take them one month to prove me right, and personally as well. Ron Klein decided to attack one of our campaign volunteers who just happens to work for a local news station. His subversive, immature, and petulant actions resulted in a very professional person to be confronted at her workplace, and publicly humiliated by the Palm Beach Post. As well, there has sprung up a "No West FL-22 Blog" in South Florida along with a "No West FL-22 Twitter" account. There are a couple of interesting twitter comments posted, "November is hunting season and there is no bag limit", which is followed by this sent out 13 May at 8:30am, "I will skin you personally West".

Funny, we did submit a police report but do you think it will get any attention. Do you think the mainstream media will report this twitter post?

What is at stake is America......how many more months can we take like this past 30 days. America is being led into a "Hurt Locker".

Shariah law councils In England: Truly a bad idea

Shariah law is acclaimed by Muslims to be one of the parts that completes Islam. Shariah law helps protect the family, individual and all who practice Islam and follow the teachings of Mohammad. It promotes peace and a just system to solve all differences that might arise between individuals. Any of you who have been reading here know how I feel about shariah law and the ideology of Islam. Here is a report from England on how well the shariah law councils that England has allowed are working. As with Islam in general, great if you are a man, not so great if you are a woman.

Sharia Councils ‘undermine social cohesion’

Since the 1996 Arbitration Act, Government ministers have allowed Islamic tribunals around Britain to rule on a range of financial disputes, provided both parties agree to accept the court’s decision. But in recent years, these tribunals have developed into fully fledged Sharia Councils – allowed to settle new disputes, such as divorce, family law, and faith issues. These powers go well beyond the letter and spirit of the original legislation and whilst they provide new ways of dispensing cheap justice they do not always dispense fair justice.

By expanding the powers of Sharia Councils, ministers have set the scene for a breaking narrative which is fractious, discriminates against women, and, incrementally, is establishing a parallel legal system.

As Sharia Councils expand their powers and reach, ministers have unwittingly rolled the dice over a type of cultural snakes and ladders, all in the hope that such initiatives will increase inclusiveness and marginalise Islamic radicals. But all the evidence contradicts ministers’ stated aims. Sharia rulings are more likely to create legal ghettos – undermining rather than improving social cohesion. And in so doing, ministers are found guilty of piecemeal legal vandalism and managing the gradual decline of English jurisprudence.

The replacement of legal precedence and common law with Islamic codification is also a gift to some extremist parties who have seized on the increasing numbers of Sharia Councils as more evidence of the demotion of hard fought for British cultural freedoms and laws. And despite the protestations of senior government ministers over recent BNP advances, ministerial alarm calls will ring deep and hollow as long the same ministers continue to advocate two Britains.

The views of the BNP are repugnant, but it should not take BNP electoral gains for ministers to wake up to the fact that social cohesion cannot be predicated on the reality, or the perception, of one rule for one community and a different set of rules for everyone else. Allowing different groups to apply different standards at variants with existing common and statute law is a recipe for resentment and suspicion. This legal dualism also strikes at the very heart the great British virtue of fair play – and all British subjects being united – under one nation.

And as ministers sleepwalk into further fragmenting communities, they still decline to answer the fundamental question: do Muslim women enjoy the same rights under Sharia jurisprudence as under English law? Ministers should not be allowed to obviate when challenged about Islamic teaching on the role, rights, and responsibilities, of women in society. Ministers may choose to evade this issue, but Sharia principles and practices are unlikely to progress the much needed emancipation of Britain’s Muslim women.

Sharia Councils shine an embarrassing light on how ministers have increasingly relegated and downgraded thousands of Muslim women to de facto second class British citizens, perversely, in the name of tolerance and understanding.

The response of Government proponents of Sharia Councils say those who choose to come before councils do so on a voluntarily basis and that, according to the 1996 Act, parties are free to agree upon how their disputes are resolved. In reality, some Muslim women feel pressured into accepting the rulings of male-dominated Sharia Councils – mostly through fear of retribution and being ostracised – sometimes by their own families.

Women are also losing out in rulings over child custody disputes, which more often rule in favour of men. It is not unimaginable that, in the near future, people from other faiths – and no faith at all – will nominally or genuinely convert to Islam in the hope of begetting a sympathetic custody hearing and paternal settlement compared to the maternal bias of some English family courts.

Speaking at a justice conference last October, Justice Secretary, Jack Straw, commented: “There is nothing whatever in English law that prevents people abiding by Sharia principles if they wish to, provided they do not come into conflict with English law”.

Such conflicts occur throughout Britain every week, and with it, the shunning of basic rights for thousands of British Muslim women.

With Britain’s growing Muslim population, the sphere of Sharia Councils is likely to increase still further. This is something that must be resisted by those who believe in tolerance and mutual respect, and by those, including progressives in the Muslim community, who seek to champion the rights of all – including the equal rights of Britain’s female Muslims.

New video by the EDL in response to Tommy Robinson's and other EDL members arrest

The English Defence League was formed last year to protest the English government's failure to do anything about massive immigration, mostly Islamic. The three major parties in the U.K. have failed to do anything about this immigration problem(sound familiar?) The EDL is planning to march in support of Geert Wilders when he shows his movie Fitna at the House of Lords. Tommy Robinosn and others were arrested back on February 20th and treated very poorly. The respective families were also bullied about by the police. I support the EDL. We are not that far removed from this type of state. OK, This is last post for a few days.

And Geert Wilders is in jail because of the cowards in the government in the Netherland. Who is pushing this? Muslim politicians and islamosympathizers.

"The Europe as you know it from visiting, from your parents, or friends is on the verge of collapsing." Geert Wilders said this in a speech he made in the U.S. last year. He went on: "We are now witnessing profound changes that will forever alter Europe's destiny and might send the continent in what Ronald Reagan called 'a thousand years of darkness.'" This applies not just to Europe, but to America as well.

Been to Europe lately? Thought it was bad? You ain't seen nothing yet. The passage of the Lisbon Treaty, hailed by Barack Obama, nailed the coffin shut on national sovereignty in Europe. The people of Europe fought it, but they were overwhelmed by their political elites and the lack of American leadership in this age of our Marxist U.S. president.

Come January 1, 2010, a disastrous and suicidal pact called the Euro-Med Partnership (referring to Europe and the Mediterranean region) goes into effect with little fanfare or examination. It boggles the mind that such a consequential and seismic cultural shift could be mandated and put into play without so much as a murmur from the mainstream media.

Why should Americans care about this? The reason is that this global gobbledygook is coming to America, thanks to our globalist president.

The European human rights group called Stop the Islamisation of Europe (SIOE) has been working tirelessly to expose the mass Muslim immigration plan of the Euro-Med Partnership. A statement on the SIOE website criticizes the secrecy of the process: "It was shocking to hear about the plans and at the same time knowing that Danish politicians and a [cowardly] Danish press -- who is otherwise proud to be critical -- has told nothing to the Danish people about this project which begins already in January next year. This also showed clearly at the conference. Only very few politicians showed up and no media. Those politicians who showed up had obviously never heard about the Euro-Mediterranean project.

The goal of the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation is to create a new Greater European Union encompassing both Europe and North Africa, with the Mediterranean Sea becoming a domestic Eurabian sea. The goal is to establish a "comprehensive political partnership," including a "free trade area and economic integration"; "considerably more money for the partners" (that is, more European money flowing into North Africa); and "cultural partnership" -- that is, importation of Islamic culture into post-Christian Europe. According to the SIOE, in the Euro-Med plan, "Europe is to be islamized. Democracy, Christianity, European culture and Europeans are to be driven out of Europe. 50 million North Africans from Moslem countries are to be imported into the EU."

Skeptical? It's already happening. The British Daily Express reported in October 2008 on "a controversial taxpayer-funded 'job centre'" that opened in Mali as "just the first step towards promoting 'free movement of people in Africa and the EU'. Brussels economists claim Britain and other EU states will 'need' 56 million immigrant workers between them by 2050 to make up for the 'demographic decline' due to falling birth rates and rising death rates across Europe." To offset this decline, a "blue card" system is to be created that will allow cardholders to travel freely within the European Union with full rights to work -- as well as the full right to collect welfare benefits.

A Muslim population from Africa moving freely into Europe threatens America. On Christmas Day, a Nigerian Muslim flew from Amsterdam to Detroit and tried to explode a bomb on the plane -- after he was allowed to board without a passport. The Euro-Med Partnership will make jihad attacks like this one all the easier.

And once in Europe, Muslims have already begun demanding special privileges and accommodations. IslamOnline reported on December 21 that "Muslims activists from 26 European countries have come together to launch the first rights council to enlighten European Muslims about their rights, monitor rising Islamophobia and defend Muslim rights in European courts of law." Ali Abu Shwaima, a Muslim leader in Italy, explained: "We think European human rights groups are not doing enough to defend the rights of Muslims. Therefore we thought that we need this new council, especially that all laws and constitutions in Europe respect freedom of religion and oppose all forms of discrimination and racism."

"Islamophobia," "discrimination," and "racism" are all terms that Muslims in Europe and America use to confuse people into thinking that the perpetrators of Islamic terrorism are the real victims. And it is working: Geert Wilders is going on trial in the Netherlands instead of all the Islamic hate sponsors he is fighting. It has to be this way to increase harmony between the Muslim and non-Muslim member-states of the Euro-Med Partnership.

This internationalism is already destroying what has made Europe free and great. And now Barack Obama wants to do the same thing to America.

Harrow mosque demo announcement

After a meeting, arrangements have now been made with the police who have made plans for policing the event.

Please keep looking at this site for further information.

The event will start at 14.00 in an area in the square opposite the mosque allotted to SIOE by the police. A muster point has been allotted and people should not gather there before 13.30, in other words people should start assembling the gathering between 13.30 and 14.00 . Details will be given later of where this will be.

People are requested not to bring banners attached to either metal or wood. Plastic plumbing-piping or plastic frames are acceptable, or just hand-held banners. It would be helpful if people could send us images of proposed banners for approval. This will save time on the day. In any case banners will be shown to the police before the demo starts, if requested.

This demo will be carried out in a respectful, dignified manner, but will be robust in its message.

Protestors are requested to bring cameras and camcorders and to make images available to SIOE afterwards for publication. Also, if participants could bring dictaphones to record press interviews so that we can compare what is actually said with what is broadcast, it would be helpful. These interviews will be published by SIOE.

When the event ends the protestors will leave together from the scene according to how the police wish it to happen.

OPPOSITION

1. There will be local Muslims who attend the mosque who will be close by the mosque. It is not anticipated that these will be large in number, but will in any case be under the control of the mosque leaders.

2. Muslims from outside the area have been asked to stay away by Harrow mosque leaders, so if any show up, it is anticipated they will be small in number.

Islam4UK is highly unlikely to appear, nor is Al-Muhajiroun, as they failed to demonstrate earlier in November and have ceased their disgusting protests against the troops at homecoming parades. Fortunately, they seem to have got the message that they have no support, but do have fierce opposition from the majority of the population.

British Muslims for Secular Democracy will be in opposition, but not in large numbers, as most Muslims indisputably do not believe in secular democracy. The fact that BMSD are counter-protesting is also another reason for Islam4UK not attending as the latter will more than likely be fulfilling its role of giving out a whining press release the day after the demonstration, as they did earlier in November when facing opposition.

SIOE suspects that BMSD and Islam4UK have a “good guy, bad guy” arrangement as, what SIOE calls, “Mecca Muslims” (BMSD) and “Medina Muslims” (Islam4UK). The Caliphate has more than one way to achieve domination.

3. A few misguided United Against Fascism (UAF) opposed SIOE on 11th September, but nearly all their banners were given to Muslims who came in from outside.

UAF have appeared in larger numbers against the English Defence League, probably only because it has “English” in its title, not because it is in any way fascist.

However, the UAF has certainly recognised that SIOE is in no way a fascist or nazi organisation and that SIOE also unswervingly opposes racism. Indeed UAF has seen that SIOE is the one organisation that speaks up for persecuted minorities in Islamic countries, such as the Copts in Egypt and Christians in Pakistan and Indonesia. So UAF would look sincerely stupid counter-protesting against SIOE which opposes anti-Semiticism and fascism more robustly than UAF. Indeed SIOE is not selective in the kind of anti-Semiticism it denounces. Unlike UAF, SIOE despises and opposes the flagrant anti-Semiticism exhibited by Muslims, not only in Muslim countries, but also in Europe, and indeed across the world. The kind of anti-Semiticism preached in every mosque in the world.

Yes UAF will look as stupid as the few ill-informed Antifa members who show up against SIOE in other European countries. Having seen that SIOE is the most anti-fascist organisation in Europe, the more serious and knowledgable anti-fascists no longer counter-protest SIOE. We have observed it is generally a few unruly, ignorant youths who arrive shouting their heads off.

Sarah Cox, Harrow’s UAF spokesperson, has said in the Harrow Times that she does not want to take on SIOE, so we anticipate she will be persuading her more boisterous and foolish companions to do the same. So, if UAF unwisely do appear, we are confident that they will heed Sarah’s demands for self-control and will therefore behave just as SIOE supporters do at all of their demonstrations, that is, peacefully.

So, SIOE considers that this will be an altogether different demonstration to that held on 11th September, now that our opponents have come to their senses and decided to behave in a civilised manner.

Therefore, we urge SIOE supporters to come to Harrow on 13th December and bring as many friends as possible for what will certainly be a peaceful, useful and successful demonstration. The plug has been pulled on Islamisation and sharia is pouring down the plughole where it belongs.

An October 2009 shootout at a warehouse in Dearborn, Michigan, claimed the life Luqman Abdullah, the imam of Detroit’s Masjid al-Haqq, and in the process garnered national attention. Abdullah had been a Detroit representative to al-Ummah, which the Muslim Alliance in North America (MANA) describes as “an association of mosques in several cities in the U.S. that coordinates religious and social services primarily in the Black American community.” In contrast, a criminal complaint filed by an FBI special agent describes al-Ummah as “a nationwide radical fundamentalist Sunni group consisting primarily of African-Americans.



The shootout occurred during an FBI raid designed to disrupt a variety of illegal activities being carried out by Abdullah and at least ten of his associates—activities that were uncovered by an undercover investigation stretching back for about three years, and a series of transactions pursuant to a Group I Undercover Operation. According to local news reports, the shooting came after FBI agents and police from the Joint Terrorism Task Force “surrounded a warehouse and trucking firm on Miller Road near Michigan Avenue where Abdullah and four of his followers were hiding.”



Abdullah did not surrender when ordered to; instead, he opened fire. He was shot to death, as was an FBI K-9, a three-year-old Belgian Malinois named Freddy. Although press reports do not detail how the dog was shot, it is common practice for the FBI to introduce a K-9 to “locate and detain” a suspect who refuses to surrender. The four men with Abdullah did lay down their arms and allow themselves to be arrested, although the DOJ’s press release leaves some ambiguity as to whether they did so before or after Abdullah was killed.



The FBI has arrested ten of Abdullah’s associates, most of whom were members of his mosque and the al-Ummah movement. Three of them—Yassir Ali Khan, Mohammad Philistine, and Abdullah’s son Mujahid Carswell—were arrested in Windsor, Ontario, to which they fled following the raids. Windsor is located directly across from Detroit, over the U.S.-Canada border.



The arrested men face charges that include conspiracy to receive and sell goods that the defendants believed were stolen from interstate shipments, conspiracy to commit mail fraud through an insurance scam involving arson, providing firearms to a known convicted felon, and tampering with motor vehicle identification numbers to further the theft of a vehicle.



The Al-Ummah Movement



Al-Ummah is either a splinter from, or a cover for, the Darul Islam movement. One commonality between the two movements is the leadership of Jamil al-Amin, who was formerly known as 1960s firebrand H. Rap Brown. Though al-Amin is reportedly still considered al-Ummah’s leader by the group’s members, he has not been involved in day-to-day operations for some time: he is currently serving a life sentence at the Supermax prison in Florence, Colorado, following his 2002 conviction for shooting two police officers in Georgia.



In May 2009 in Alabama, Luqman Abdullah claimed while under surveillance that al-Amin had created al-Ummah out of fear of government interference. Two years before Abdullah became part of the movement, several Darul members were killed in a shooting in New York. “Jamil Al-Amin said they had to divide the group because having too many people in one organization made them an easy target,” the criminal complaint against Abdullah recounts. “According to Abdullah, the group is still Dar-Ul, but this is not widely known because of the United States government. The Ummah is a cover name for Dar-Ul.”
