"Defamation, er Incitement of Religions" is Knocking on Our Door

Never mind that we have seen our ambassador to Libya and three other Americans brutally murdered. Never mind that our diplomatic missions in the Middle East (and Pakistan) have been attacked and our flag burned. In the eyes of the Islamic world, American leaders, and our own media, this is all America's fault. It is all because we-not they-are the intolerant ones because they continue to lay the blame on that stupid video. One of the unfortunate results of all this is the advancement of calls to criminalize any criticism of Islam. These voices, led by the 56-member Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), the largest voting bloc in the UN, seem to have found a friendly ally in Hillary Clinton, the Department of State, and, indeed, the administration.

Last night, there was a large gathering of Muslims in Dearborn, Michigan to protest against Islamophobia and the now-infamous video, "The Innocence of Muslims". It was reported by some sources beforehand that they would also call for such expressions to be made illegal. I am still trying to determine if any such calls were made.

Maggie's Notebook has an important piece updating us on the effort to strip Americans of their freedom of speech in the wake of this atrocity committed against us. From it, you can link to the December 2011 report issued by Hillary and her pals. The key word here is now "incitement" rather than "defamation". More on that distinction later.

My impression is that Mrs Clinton has been trying to hold her finger in the dike, so to speak, when it comes to maintaining freedom of speech. Her words definitely include protecting that freedom. Asst. Attorney General Thomas Perez, in his remarks, predictably,  painted the US as a place where prejudice and discrimination are the biggest problem and patted the DOJ on the back for fighting it-even though many of the examples were from  decades ago. He did not waste his time defending freedom of expression.

As for inserting the term, "incitement" in place of "defamation", this is not really much of a victory. In the US, the right of free speech stops when one incites a crime against another, for example, saying to a crowd, "Kill the (fill in the blank) and the crowd immediately proceeds to kill a fill in the blank.

But what about the case we are dealing with now? Someone says or publishes something that offends Muslims, and Muslims in another part of the world go out and commit mayhem. Incitement? Even if you say yes, think of the legal spaghetti we are inviting in this country. Put Christ in a jar of urine and nothing happens other than Christians complain because they are offended. Do the same with Muhammad and all Hell breaks loose. Discriminatory application of justice? What about those Friday prayers in the Middle East where some imam exhorts the crowd to "take action" against the infidels, and the audience rushes out and  kills a couple of infidels. Incitement? All day long (under our law at least), but who ever gets prosecuted for that in the Middle East?

And, in case you are not aware, the Justice Department has, indeed, taken video-maker Nakoula B. Nakoula into custody. He is now being held without bail on a probation violation for "using the Internet without permission" (a term of his probation). He has been labeled by the judge as a danger to society. The only one in danger is Nakoula.

Secretary Clinton may be trying to diplomatically tell the OIC that we are going to protect freedom of speech in the US while vigorously protecting the rights of religious minorities, but they are not going to be satisfied with that. They want any expression that criticizes Islam criminalized, and they using this latest controversy to advance that case even though it is we in the US who have been victimized. It is one thing to argue that Nakoula's video was offensive to Muslims (it was). It is another to prosecute him. Does anyone seriously think that had he made a film critical or satirical of Jews or Christians, he would be thrown back in jail for using the Internet in violation of his probation?

More importantly, in light of world events, are we eventually going to accede to demands that we shut down an honest discussion of the nature of Islamic terror, its own hatreds and sharia law as it would apply in the West? This need not be done in a spirit of hate or mockery, but who will draw the line and decide legally if it is hateful? Is it beyond the realm of imagination that those who speak out against the outrages occurring in the Islamic world, or question shariah law, or criticize an American Muslim leader for using hate speech himself  would be subject to having our taxes audited every year or be charged with spitting on the sidewalk?

The Indoctrination at Northeastern University

Charles Jacobs and Americans for Peace and Tolerance have produced a 32-minute video that shows the indoctrination and anti-Semitism that has taken over classrooms at Boston's Northeastern University. This video is well worth watching. Some of the shots come from the school where I have taught part-time for 14 years, UC Irvine, which is also mentioned in the narration as a hotbed of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic activity. In addition, Norm Finkelstein, the oddball ex-professor mentioned in the video has also visited UCI at least three times. Twice I have seen him speak. That he should be trumpeted by a Northeastern professor is a joke.

The plot thickens - (while 0bama does nothing!)

Just as how (now-deceased, unfortunately due to natural causes) Danish imam, Akhmad Akkari-Laban, conspired to include in his "report" three totally unrelated and highly inflammatory images along with the far less offensive ones originally published by the Danish newspaper, Jyllands-Posten; it now appears that the controversial movie "Innocence of Muslims" was quite possibly produced by Muslims.

…the Danish tabloid Extra Bladet got hold of a 43-page report that Danish Muslim leaders and imams, on a tour of the Islamic world are handing out to their contacts to “explain” how offensive the cartoons are. The report contains 15 pictures instead of 12. The first of the three additional pictures, which are of dismal quality, shows Muhammad as a pedophile deamon [see it here], the second shows the prophet with a pigsnout [here] and the third depicts a praying Muslim being raped by a dog [here]. Apparently, the 12 original pictures were not deemed bad enough to convince other Muslims that Muslims in Denmark are the victims of a campaign of religious hatred.

Akhmad Akkari, spokesman of the 21 Danish Muslim organizations which organized the tour, explained that the three drawings had been added to “give an insight in how hateful the atmosphere in Denmark is towards Muslims.” Akkari claimed he does not know the origin of the three pictures. He said they had been sent anonymously to Danish Muslims. However, when Ekstra Bladet asked if it could talk to these Muslims, Akkari refused to reveal their identity.

Media ignore Obama attack on ‘those who slander the Prophet of Islam’

President Obama spoke to the UN Tuesday, but what he had to say depended on the media outlet reporting it. It was about “optics” according to MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow; “free speech” said CBS’s Nancy Cordes and Iran, explained NBC’s Chuck Todd.

Not that they’re wrong. It was a 4,000-word speech. Obama covered a lot of ground. But the ground the major media covered conveniently left out was the most provocative line of the entire speech.

The president told the UN that the “future must not belong” to a series of people including “corrupt” leaders and those who “bully women.” But one line from that list stood out. “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

That line appeared almost nowhere in the old media where Obama’s supposed defense of free speech dominated. The broadcast networks ignored it and only Jake Tapper noted that Team Obama had also tried to get the video pulled from YouTube for violation of “terms of use.” The New York Times skipped the line, ironically in an article headlined: “Obama Tells U.N. New Democracies Need Free Speech.”

The media grovels while 0bama obligingly osculates Muslim arse. This monstrous fraud has spent so much time kissing Muslim ass that he must blow his nose with toilet paper.

According to this latest report, apparently, the administration did, in fact, have information (and enough common sense) to know that the attack on the Benghazi consulate was a planned terror attack.

However, this now raises more questions. If the administration knew within 24 hours that it was a planned terror attack, why did they keep telling the public for a week that it was a spontaneous protest that got out of hand due to that infamous video? If there was a Top Secret strategic reason involved, that might be understandable, but to tell the American public a tale they knew was false requires some serious explanation. They could have always said for a week that it was still under investigation and withheld comment. Instead, it now appears that we were lied to. If not, it points to a seriously inept administration.

* No, I am not implying the replacement refs were dishonest. They weren't that bad.

Chinese government crushes protestor to death with steamroller

A man in China resisted being forcibly “relocated” evicted from his farm land. So the vice mayor of his village simply had a steamroller crush him to death.

The evil Chinese government is censoring all news about this horrible incident, so I’m posting it here in spite of the sickening story and images. Please help me break through the Chinese Communist Party’s Internet firewall by re-posting this on your blogs and emailing it to your friends and families and encourage them to forward it to their e-lists.

FYI, despite what our panda-hugging government and media have been saying about China’s “capitalist” economic reforms, the reforms are confined to the cities and to businesses that are now privately owned. In the vast countryside, there is no private ownership of land (nor is there private land ownership in the cities). Peasants only have users’ right (usufruct) to farm the land, which is owned by the state in the name of the mythical “proletariat,” which turns out to be the Communist Party and government officials.

A villager in northern China attempting to resist a forced government relocation by remaining on his land was brutally crushed to death by a road flattening truck on the orders of a Chinese government official.

 

The story, which was censored in China’s state controlled media, has caused outrage amongst users of Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, given its horrifying similarity to what happened to student protesters who were crushed to death by tanks during the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989.

 

The victim, He Zhi Hua, refused to accept a paltry payment from the government which has forcefully evicted Changsha Village locals in order to re-appropriate their land for commercial use.

 

When Hua began a protest by lying down on the spot through which construction vehicles had to pass, the local Vice Mayor ordered workers for the state-owned company to murder Hua by driving over his body with a huge road-flattening truck.

 

Shocking images show Hua’s pulverized brains and his mangled body in the aftermath of the state-sponsored execution.

 

 

Fearing unrest if the story got out to a wider audience, the government sent in 200 men to keep angry locals at bay and hide the remains of the body. The man’s family was offered a sum of money in order to keep quiet about the incident.

 

China is routinely rocked by riots staged by residents furious at the arbitrary theft of their land by the state, which under the Communist system claims that the government owns all land and that private property rights are non-existent. However, the state-owned media ensures that news of the protests does not reach a national audience.

 

In another similar case in Pan Jin City, when villager Wang Shi Jie tried to prevent workers hired by local government officials destroying his crops and confiscating his land before harvest, he was shot dead. When Jie’s father attempted to rush to his son’s aid, he was shot in the leg twice.

 

After the incident, hundreds of police officers were sent to dispose of the body and beat up villagers who complained about the man’s murder. The dispute started after it emerged that the agricultural land was being sold by the government to developers without the villagers having been notified.

Remember this commercial, “No Pressure,” made by Global Warming true believers for its 10:10 Campaign – a worldwide campaign exhorting us to reduce our carbon emissions by at least 10% in 2010. In the video, school children and adults who refuse to join 10:10 are blown up into bits, their blood and pieces of flesh spattering those nearby. This video/commercial is not a spoof. The people who put this together are serious and really really sick. Note that former X-Files actress Gillian Andersen is one of the actors.


Then there’s Larry Grathwohl, a former FBI agent who infiltrated the Weather Underground (WU), a radical left group that originated in 1969 as a faction of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS). Bill Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dohrn were founders of the WU. Both are Chicago pals of Obama.

The goal of the Weather Underground was to foment a violent overthrow of the U.S. government and replace it with a “dictatorship of the proletariat.” The clandestine organization instigated a series of terrorist bombings in the 1970s. Ayers and Dohrn were complicit in the conspiracy to bomb the office of California State Senator John Briggs. The two turned themselves in December 1980. Charges were dropped for Ayers; Dohrn received three years probation and a $15,000 fine. Both dispute their being labeled “terrorists” and remain unrepentant to this day.



In this video, Grathwohl tells us how the members of the Weather Underground calmly made plans to kill 25 million (their estimate) Americans whom they expected would resist “reeducation” after the WU had seized political power.

There Are Still 'A Few Good Men'

Not at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington D.C., but for sure out in the heartland of America and elsewhere.

Last evening a sister was nearing melt down, just exhausted with what was going on in her life.  I told her to go to bed.  To leave two particular things that had her overwhelmed to me, I would get them done.  I told her I had her back.

I've got your back - the phrase that in just a few words lets one know your being watched over.  It comes from our military of course, and I believe in every cell of my body that it is so.  But our military is spread far and wide and in the meantime our country is in real danger from the murdering son of a bitch who occupies our White House.

And - there are still a few good men, and women, more than a few, who though not wearing a uniform are ready and I am certain more than willing to step in and give their lives for country.  They are sounding the alarm even now.  Trust they will be there if, or more likely, when, the time comes.

Eric Allen Bell needs your help

Today I'd like to talk a bit about Eric Allen Bell's situation. For those who remember, he is a formerly liberal filmmaker, who made a 180 degree turn on the issue of islam, and a few others, following a film he was making regarding a 53,000 square ft. mosque in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

In the past months, Eric has been a bold, defiant voice in the counter-jihad movement, who refused to back down before threats. He has exposed the ties of islamic brotherhood members to the mosque, and spoke out against the evils inherent in this totalitarian, hateful ideology, that seeks total world domination.

For that, he has paid a heavy price, when the recent 9/11 anniversary attack in the muslim world used an internet video as a ridiculous pretext for their premeditated, homicidal violence. Because of his film-making history, he was pointed to as the man behind Innocence of Muslims. Immediately, endless death threats poured onto his Facebook page, and a bounty of almost 200,000$ was put on his head.
Instead of protecting the right to free speech, and cracking down on the violent members of their network, Facebook has instead banned Eric.

He is now in hiding, but keeps his messages coming, despite the endless death threats from islamist savages, both online, and offline.

Without any real income, Eric has to rely on donations from caring individuals. Because of his locked Facebook account, these donations are now pretty sparse.

On a beautiful September Sunday afternoon, not far from the scene of the infamous Islamic jihad attack in lower Manhattan, Democrat New York State Senator Tony Avello came face-to-face with Muslim hatred for America and he did something that few people have the courage to do. He got up from his seat as a VIP Marshall of the 27th annual New York Muslim Parade and stormed off the stage in disgust! Over one thousand Muslims in the audience and the large group of Muslim community leaders were shocked that the Senator would walk off the stage, even before it was his turn to speak. But, Tony Avella had enough of the blatant tirade of hate against America by "moderate" Muslim dignitary after by "moderate" Muslim dignitary and his love for America was more important than embarrassing a group of Muslim "wolves in sheep's clothing." Sure, the Muslim cultural jihadi's had the first amendment right to condemn America (which they could never do in their home countries) but Senator Avella had the right to exit, stage left!! Our hats are off to Senator Avella for taking a very public stand on a critically important issue. But a word of warning to the good Senator. The "wolves" will work their magic to lure you back into their den. If they succeed, your stand on principle for this great country, was for naught.

Kerby Anderson, Point of View: The news has been filled with reports of attacks on American consulates in nearly a dozen countries. This is once again a reminder of Muslim hostility against this country and our values. Unfortunately, foreign policy makers assume that if we can just control a few people in this country, anger toward America will subside.

In the past they blamed U.S. pastor Terry Jones for the violence because he threatened to burn a Qur’an. Now the focus has been on the amateur film producer whose work showed up on YouTube. The foreign policy experts believe we should apologize for these foolish actions. But in both cases, I believe the Muslim reactions were merely convenient excuses for Islamists to go to the streets and to storm our embassies.

In a recent column, Michael Youssef reminds us that we send billions of dollars to Egypt and have provided military assistance to Libya. What do we get in the way of thanks, he asks? Death and destruction.

He argues that we make the mistake of thinking that everyone in the world is like us. They will respond with gratitude to our generous gestures. But do these Islamists respect us with the same respect we try to show them? Not at all.

Michael Youssef has lived in the Middle East and studied the ways of Islamists. He says they view our actions as unmitigated weakness. And they see this as an opportunity to humiliate the infidels. They are glad to take our money and use it to humiliate us and demonstrate their superiority.

We may not be able to reverse what is happening in the Middle East. Islamist regimes are gaining power either through military might and intimidation or merely by turning out enough votes so that their leaders are elected to positions of power and influence.

We may not be able to change the events in this troubled part of the world, but we don’t have to fund it either. And we shouldn’t assume that bending over backwards is going to be a constructive foreign policy. These are dangerous times, and we need to set aside naïve assumptions that have lead to bad decisions. I’m Kerby Anderson, and that’s my point of view.

Two Videos To Shred The US Media and Expose The Outright Lying

Here are two videos that positively shred two divergent, but connected, aspects regarding the complete lying of the mainstream US media regarding recent Egyptian and Libyan issues.

The first is a Canadian report by Brian Lilley and upon watching needs no further explanation (Hat Tip Richard Branson):

Two issues present themselves:

#1 – Why would the Obama Administration and State Dept Lie? Obviously the answers to that are self-explanatory. They were at risk from the truth. Their ineptitude was at risk of exposure.

#2 – Why would CNN refuse to air the Nick Robertson report with Muhammed Al Zawahiri (brother of Ayman Al Zawahiri) that clearly shows the Egyptian uprising was 100% in response to his call for protests for release of the Blind sheik on 9-11.? Why would the “most trusted name in news“, hide the report showing the truth, and instead allow the false narrative to be sold, by them, to the American electorate?

….in reality, the fiasco appears to be largely — if not entirely — a State Department botch. It was the State Department that failed to provide its ambassador adequate security; it was the State Department that fled Benghazi in the aftermath of the attack, apparently failing to clear or secure the scene, leaving Stevens’ diary behind; and it was State that had taken the lead on the ground after the Libya intervention.

They will go to the West for education in full scholarship. America is paying and will continue to pay for our children’s educations and their upbringing in state funded Islamic schools.

We will use your welfare system. Our children will also send money home while they are preparing for Jihad.

We will take the advantage of American kindness, gullibility, and compassion. When time comes, we will stab them in the back. We will say one thing on the camera and teach another thing to our children at home. We will give subliminal messages to our children to uphold Islam at any cost. Our children in America will always care more about Islamic Country’s interest than US interest.

We will teach our children Islamic supremacy from the very childhood. We will teach them not to compromise with Infidel. Once we do that from the very early age our children won’t hesitate to be martyr. We will take over the Europe first and then US will be the next. We already have a solid ground in the UK, Holland, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Germany, and now in the US.

Our children will marry Caucasian in Europe and in America. We will mixed with intricate fabric of the Western society but still will remember to Jihad when time comes. Who are we?

We are the “sleeper cells”.

We will raise our children to be loyal to Islam and Mohammad only. Everything else is secondary.

Keep your Nukes in your curio cabinets. Keep your aircraft carrier or high-tech weaponry in the showcase. You can't use them against us because of your own higher moral standard. We will take the advantage of your higher moral standard and use it against you. We won’t hesitate to use our children as suicide bomber against you.

Visualize the news flash all over the world, …Muslim mother is sobbing, ….crying. ….Her babies are killed by Jews and Americans, the whole world is watching live. Hundreds of millions of Muslims all around the world are boiling. They will march through Europe. We will use our women to produce more babies who will in turn be used as armor/shield. Our babies are the gift from Allah for Jihad.

West manufactures their tanks in the factory. We will manufacture our military force by natural means, by producing more babies. That is the way it is cheaper.

You infidels at this site cannot defeat us. We are 1.2 billion. We will double again. Do you have enough bullets to kill us?

You will find us well mannered, polite, humble that will make you say, “wow, Muslims are good and peaceful people”, But, we will stab you in your back when you are sleeping as we did on 911.

There will be more 911 in Europe and in America. We will say, “We do not support terrorism but America got what it deserved.”

Muslims, CAIR, ISNA, MPAC and other international Islamic Organization will unite. We will partner with Leftist, ACLU, with Koffi Annan, and the UN, and if we have to then even with France. Fasten your seatbelt. The war of civilizations has just begun.

We will recite Quran and say Allah-Hu-Akbar before beheading infidels, as we have been doing it. We will video tape those and send it to all infidels to watch. They will surrender - ISLAM means surrender.

We will use your own values of kindness against you.
