If Iran has reached the ability to produce a 20% grade of Uranium,
then nukes are not very far down the road. The worst part of this
entire nightmare is that Israel has not attacked Iran when they had
the chance(numerous opportunities), and that Washington has
wasted how many years in 'negotiating' with a crackpot regime, run
by extremeist hard line mullahs. The meddling of foreign powers into
Israel's future may have dire consequences of untold magnitude.
The fact that Ahmadinejad has been able to continually snooker the
'big six powers' is almost laughable if the stakes were not so high,
the region such a tinderbox, waiting for that one spark to ignite the
Middle East into Armaggedon. Once upon a time, not to far in the
distant past, Israel would have already leveled any and all Iranian
nuclear facilities, conducting global damage control AFTER the threat
had been neutralized. The world community would openly condemn
such actions, but in reality the world would breathe a huge sigh of relief.

I completely stand by this young man and his mother. Tim Tebow
is young man of high morals, character and Integrity. The fact that
he is a strong Christian has always bothered some people and that
is too bad. This country needs more people like Tim Tebow, Men

Crash of Ethiopian Airliner of Lebanon. No hints of terrorism of foul play, so far
Flight 409 was seen going down in flames this morning. I have
waited to see if there any reports of terrorism or foul play but so
far nothing suspicious has surfaced. I will be following this story
for critical updates but for now sounds like this crash was a
weather related crash. In this region of the world one has to keep
all avenues open until the facts come home.

An Ethiopian Airlines plane with 90 people on board crashed into the Mediterranean Sea after taking off from Beirut, Lebanon, early this morning.
Eleven bodies have been recovered and no survivors have been found, Lebanese army Brigadier Saleh Haj Suleiman said by phone. Search operations are ongoing about 8 kilometers (5 miles) off the coast, he said.
“Weather conditions are very harsh,” Suleiman said. “We hope, God willing, to find some survivors.” The passengers on flight ET409 included 51 Lebanese and 23 Ethiopians, the carrier said on its Web site. The eight crew members were all Ethiopian.
The Boeing Co. 737-800 left Beirut’s Rafik Hariri International Airport for Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital, at 2:35 a.m. and lost contact with air traffic control shortly afterward. Flames were seen coming from the aircraft before the crash near Na’ameh town, south of Beirut, according to the state-run Lebanese National News Agency. Lebanon has been lashed with heavy rains, thunderstorms and high winds for much of the past two days.
“It was manageable weather otherwise the crew wouldn’t have taken off,” Chief Executive Officer Girma Wake told reporters at a briefing in Addis Ababa. “On behalf of Ethiopian Airlines and myself I am sorry that this happened.”
Lebanese President Michel Suleiman said terrorism was unlikely to have been the cause during a press conference in Beirut.
Boeing Investigation
The other passengers onboard the plane comprised two Britons and one each from Turkey, France, Russia, Canada, Syria and Iraq, state-owned Ethiopian Airlines said. The Lebanese National News Agency put the number of Lebanese citizens onboard at 54, saying that some held dual citizenship.
The wife of the French ambassador to Lebanon was among those on the plane, said Anne-Charlotte Dommartin, a spokeswoman for the French embassy in Beirut. The flight was due to take off at 2:10 a.m.
At Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa, people have been told to wait for further information on possible survivors, said Tedros Abdissa, whose 35-year-old cousin Tegist Shokur was onboard the flight.
Possible Survivors
“She was a domestic servant and her employer beat her up so she chose to leave,” he said in an interview at the airport.
The crashed plane was made in 2002 and leased from CIT Aerospace in September, Girma said.
Addis Ababa-based Ethiopian Airlines said it had dispatched investigators to the scene of the crash. Boeing is working with the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board to assist Lebanese authorities with the investigation, spokeswoman Sandy Angers said in an e-mailed reply to Bloomberg News questions.
Ethiopian Airlines operates a fleet of 37 planes, most of them Boeing aircraft, according to its Web site. It also has orders outstanding for planes including 10 787 Dreamliners, 12 Airbus SAS A350s and 5 Boeing 777s, according to the site. The airline and Boeing announced a deal for 10 737s on Jan. 22.
The carrier hasn’t suffered a fatal crash since November 1996, when 125 people died during a hijacking of a Boeing 767 bound for Abidjan, Ivory Coast, according to the Flight Safety Foundation.

President Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid have all agreed to the basic framework of the plan.
Their plan is clever but can be stopped if opponents of radical healthcare reform act quickly and focus on a core group of 23 Democratic Congressman. If just a few of these 23 Democrats are "flipped" and decide to oppose the bill, the whole Obama-Pelosi-Reid stratagem falls apart.
Here's what I learned top Democrats are planning to implement.
Senate Democrats will go to the House with a two-part deal.
First, the House will pass the Senate's Obamacare bill that passed the Senate in December. The House leadership will vote on the Senate bill, and Pelosi will allow no amendments or modifications to the Senate bill.
How will Pelosi's deal fly with rambunctious liberal members of her majority that don't like the Senate bill, especially its failure to include a public option, put heavy fines on those who don't get insurance and offering no income tax surcharge on the "rich"?
That's where the second part of the Pelosi-deal comes in.
Behind closed doors Reid and Pelosi have agreed in principle that changes to the Senate bill will be made to satisfy liberal House members -- but only after the Senate bill is passed and signed into law by Obama.
This deal will be secured by a pledge from Reid and the Senate's Democratic caucus that they will make "fixes" to the Senate bill after it becomes law with Obama's John Hancock.

Time for our politicians to take a stand on illlegal immigration: H.R. 1206
H.R. 1206 is an important bill. It will show the people of this country
who is serious about drawing a line in the sand, and then doing some
serious stuff to stop illegal immigration. We need to stop it for good
and at the very least, this bill is a start. Write, call email, fax your
representatives and let them know we are sick and tired of liberal
diversity, multiculturalism and allowing the laws of this country to
be broken by the flood of illegals. Businesses who knowingly
hire these law breakers should be punished right along with the
illegals they hire.
The Chaffetz/Kratovil bill takes away the wiggle room. First, it says Congress should not "legalize, grant amnesty for, or confere any other legal status condoning the otherwise unlawful entry or presence in the United States of any individual." And then to make it even more clear what the signer thinks should happen to illegal aliens, it calls for mandatory use of E-Verify by every employer for every employee so that none of the illegal aliens can keep their jobs and support themselves in this country.
Friends, this resolution is a promise with teeth. We will soon find out which Members of Congress were faking it the last few years in promising us that they wouldn't vote for an amnesty.

New Blood Libel Making the Rounds-Now Haiti

The old Jewish blood libel is being resurrected by the enemies of Israel. The claim about Israeli military forces killing Palestinians in order to harvest their body parts is now being spread to Haiti. This is thanks to some loon named T. West, who heads a black solidarity group called Afri Synergy. West has produced a video warning Haitians that the Israeli rescue workers and doctors may try to steal the body parts of their loved ones. In the above video, you can watch and listen as West makes his charges-without any corroboration.
Nevertheless, the claim is gaining currency among those who hate Israel-and who hate Jews in general. One by one, they are pouncing on this. The Iranian-run English-language Press TV is running the story, which you can check out below. One of Press TV's "journalists" has been British radical and Muslim-convert Yvonne Ridley. I wonder if she subscribes to this latest pipe dream. I guess I will add this to all the previous questions I have posed to Ridley on this blog.

Then there is the anti-Semitic web-site La Voz de Aztlan, run out of Los Angeles by a couple of guys who think the US Southwest belongs to Mexico and who hate Jews in general. One of their so-called reporters accompanied George Galloway to Gaza last year with one of his Viva Palestina convoys. This hateful website is running with the story, showing West's video and adding their own "inside information".

So my question would be who is the "reporter" who said this and who "noticed" this container, etc. Hell, the National Enquirer wouldn't even run a line like that without proof or some type of corroboration. You couldn't put a dog in the pound with that kind of evidence.

Now, in the middle of a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions, the anti-Semitic hate-mongers in the Middle East, Europe and America are coming out from under their rocks in an effort to discredit a heroic effort on the part of the Israelis.

Young Christian Pakistani girl raped and killed by Muslim attorney
I am at a loss for words here with this crime against a young,
innocent girl. Her crimes? Being a young woman and a Christian
woman. Here is how the authorities have dealt with this so far:
