One of the great questions of the 21st century is: What is the true nature of Islam? There are two distinct answers to this question from the media and leaders. The popular message is that Islam is one of the great world religions, a peaceful religion, a foundation of world civilization, its Golden Age was the highpoint of history, and it preserved Western thought while we were in the Dark Ages. The alternative message is that Islam is a brutal, backward, woman abusing, violent, intellectually narrow ideology that is out to annihilate civilization.
Which side is right? How do we resolve this issue? Can it even be resolved? If we turn to the “experts” of any of the opinions, they will tell you that their view is correct. What then is the ultimate authority that will give us a firm foundation for reasoning and judgment about Islam? Is it possible to use critical thought or must we just accept the authority of experts?
There is a way to achieve consensus about ideas that goes beyond expert opinion. The use of facts along with logic is the basis of critical thought. The ultimate form of critical thought uses measurements and numbers to resolve questions. This paper will use the foundational texts of Islam and measure the importance of ideas by how many words are given to concepts. The assumption is that the more content that is devoted to a subject, the greater the importance of the subject is. As an example: the Koran devotes 64% of its text to the subject of the unbeliever. This is assumed to imply that the unbeliever is important in Islamic doctrine.
The use of critical thought may seem counter-intuitive since many people view Islam as a religion that does not have a rational basis. Actually, Islam is not only rational; it is hyper-rational, but it uses another form of logic than the one we take for granted.
If we are to use critical thought, we must have a firm foundation. All Muslims agree that:
“There is no god, but Allah and Mohammed is His messenger.”
When this is repeated as a public testimony, you become a Muslim. However, this statement is not only the beginning of Islam, it is also the foundation and totality of Islam. It is not enough to worship Allah; you must worship as Mohammed worshipped.
Who is Allah and where do we learn about Him? This question points directly to the Koran.
Then the Koran, in turn, points directly to Mohammed. It says 91 times that Mohammed is the perfect Muslim. He is the divine human prototype, the only pattern acceptable to Allah. The actions and words of Mohammed are so important that they have a special name—Sunna. We find the Sunna in two texts. The Sira is the biography of Mohammed and the Hadith is the collection of hadiths (small stories, traditions) about Mohammed.
Islam is based on Koran and Sunna. Since the Sunna is found in the Sira and the Hadith, this means that three books contain all the doctrine of Islam—the Trilogy. If it is in the Trilogy (Koran, Sira, Hadith), then it is Islam. If something is not in the Trilogy, then it is not Islam. All of the Islamic doctrine is found in the Trilogy. Now, we have the complete information with no missing pieces.
We have established our first criteria of knowledge. All authoritative statements about Islam must include a reference to the Trilogy to be authenticated. It does not matter what a scholar, imam, media guru, or anyone else says, if what they say cannot be supported by the doctrine in the Trilogy, then it is not Islam. If it is supported by the Trilogy, then it is Islam.
We have been taught that the Koran is the source of Islamic doctrine. However, the Koran is only 14% of the total sacred texts . Actually, the Sira and the Hadith are 86% of the total textual doctrine . Islam is 14% Allah and 86% Mohammed. This is very good news. The Koran is obscure, but anyone can understand the life and sayings of Mohammed. These statistics point to the easy way to know Islam—know Mohammed. Anyone, absolutely anyone, can understand Mohammed and hence, Islam.
Islam is a text-based doctrine, so the nature of these texts must be made clear. A Muslim believes that the Koran is perfect, complete, universal and eternal. It does not contain the slightest error and it is the exact words of the only god of the universe. Mohammed is the perfect example of how to live the sacred life. This idea of complete, final, universal, and perfect textual truth is very hard for non-Muslims to comprehend. Most people read the Koran with the attitude of: “Oh, they don’t really believe this.” When Muslims read the Koran, their attitude is: “These are the perfect words of Allah.” Muslims call themselves the “believers” and by that they mean that they believe the Koran is perfect and Mohammed is the perfect pattern of life.
Remember, we started with the question: Can we evaluate what the media commentators, politicians, imams and other “experts” say about the true nature of Islam? Yes, we can know the true nature of Islam—it is found in the Trilogy. If what the expert has to say can be supported by the doctrine found in the Trilogy, then it is valid, since the Trilogy is the final arbiter of all opinions and statements about Islam.
Critical thought provides a powerful first step. Now, let us measure the doctrine of Islam. The following cases show how the technique of counting the number of words that are devoted to a topic can be used to discover the dominant themes of Islamic texts and, hence, Islamic doctrine.

This is for all the troops of Infidel world whose sacrificed their comfort and in all odd situation and time away from their be loved and family protecting us so we can sleep peacefully at night.
I would love to see same kind of gratitude and respect rendered to all the soldiers and their family of USA, Canada, Nato, India or China, Nepal…( all who love Freedom )
As a Company, Southwest Airline is going to support ‘Red Fridays.’
Last week I was in Atlanta , Georgia attending a conference. While I was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed one of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen.
Moving through the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camos. As they began heading to their gate, everyone (well almost everyone) was abruptly to their feet with their hands waving and cheering.
When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and cheered for, it hit me. I’m not alone. I’m not the only red-blooded American who still loves this country and supports our troops and their families.
Of course I immediately stopped and began clapping for these young unsung heroes who are putting their lives on the line everyday for us so we can go to school, work and home without fear or reprisal.
Just when I thought I could not be more proud of my country or of our service men and women, a young girl, not more than 6 or 7 years old, ran up to one of the male soldiers. He kneeled down and said ‘hi.’ The little girl then asked him if he would give something to her daddy for her.
The young soldier, who didn’t look any older than maybe 22 himself, said he would try to get what she wanted to give to her Daddy. Then suddenly the little girl grabbed the neck of this soldier, gave him the biggest hug she could muster and then kissed him on the cheek.
The mother of the little girl, who said her daughter’s name was Courtney, told the young soldier that her husband was a Marine and had been in Iraq for 11 months now. As the mom was explaining how much her daughter Courtney missed her father, the young soldier began to tear up.
When this temporarily single mom was done explaining her situation, all of the soldiers huddled together for a brief second. Then one of the other servicemen pulled out a military-looking walkie-talkie. They started playing with the device and talking back and forth on it.
After about 10-15 seconds of this, the young soldier walked back over to Courtney, bent down and said this to her, ‘I spoke to your daddy and he told me to give this to you.’ He then hugged this little girl that he had just met and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He finished by saying ‘your daddy told me to tell you that he loves you more than anything and he is coming home very soon.’
As the soldiers began to leave, heading towards their gate, people resumed their applause. As I stood there applauding and looked around, there were very few dry eyes, including my own. That young soldier in one last act of selflessness, turned around and blew a kiss to Courtney with a tear rolling down his cheek.
We need to remember everyday all of our soldiers and their families and thank God for them and their sacrifices. At the end of the day, it’s good to be an American.
RED FRIDAYS —– Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing Red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the ‘silent majority’. We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record-breaking numbers.
We are not organized, boisterous or over-bearing. We get no liberal media coverage on TV, to reflect our message or our opinions. Many American, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize that the vast majority of Americans supports our troops.
Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that. Every red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar will wear something red.
By word of mouth, press, TV — let’s make the United States on every Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers.
If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, co-workers, friends, and family. It will not be long before the USA is covered in RED and it will let our troops know the once ‘silent’ majority is on their side more than ever; certainly more than the media lets on.
The first thing a soldier says when asked ‘What can we do to make things better for you?’ is…We need your support and your prayers.
Let’s get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example; and wear something red every Friday.

WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, ONLY BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED—- SO WEAR RED! — MAY GOD HELP AMERICA TO BECOME ONE NATION, UNDER GOD.

I have been gone for a spell due to getting ready for very important meeting tomorrow at work. I am now involved in fighting for the continuation of funding for the testing program that I have now taken over, by default and because I give a damn about assisting people who are out of work, some who have lost everything, giving them all the tools they can get to help them in their job search. This meeting is SO IMPORTANT I am wearing a long sleeved shirt and tie. I hate both. I do not get along with bureaucrats and those who refuse to take risks for fear of making a mistake so I will have to be very careful how I converse and explain why this program is worth keeping. This is supposed to be resolved before the end of this month but they have had 10 month to figure this out and have not done so yet.
Enough of work hassles and please watch the videos. Some you may have watched already but I am supporting Vladtepes who is a counter jihad hero as far as I am concerned. I will be back after Thursday with many more posts!

Guy Milliere Speaks in Orange County on Europe and America

Last night, I went to hear French writer and commentator Guy Milliere speak in front of the ACT for America chapter in Orange County. Milliere is a controversial figure in France due to his outspokenness about the growing threat of militant Islam in Europe. Much like Dutch politician Geert Wilders, Milliere is excoriated as a fascist by the left and the French media. There have been threats on his life, yet he continues to speak his mind. His thesis is pretty simple; Europe is lost and the only force that can preserve freedom in the world is the United States. He is decidedly pro-American and anti-Obama.
As Milliere explains it, Europe has no hope of reversing the growing Islamization on that continent. He cites the demographics, the disparate birthrates, the political correctness and the unwillingness of the Europeans to defend themselves. One reason is that the Europeans don't have any idea of who they are or what they should be defending. They don't really enjoy democracy as America does and their fates are decided by politicians and bureaucrats at the national level and the European Union.
According to Milliere, there is no true conservative press in Europe. What is considered "conservative" in Europe would be on a par with say, the New York Times.
Isn't that encouraging?
He also mentioned that you cannot get Fox News in France. You can get Al-Jazeera or CNN, but not Fox News.
In addition, political correctness is the order of the day, which he tells us was imported to the US by Europe.

In summary, Milliere tells us that it is up to America to stand up for freedom. Once America loses its freedom, the whole world is gone. He said that America should not give in to the constant demands to accommodate Islam. His metaphor was that we can welcome Muslims to our country, but they "must leave their baggage at the door".
The questions from the audience were many and long. I had to leave before getting a chance to meet with Milliere. One woman in the audience told us about what happened to her 12-year-old daughter just this week at Ladera Ranch Middle School. Her homework assignment: Memorize the 5 pillars of Islam. She is going to the school board to protest. (I plan to write more about this later.) As I have written previously, this is going on nationwide and especially in California. Middle school students are being subjected to weeks of indoctrination about all the wonderful aspects of Islam while references to Christianity and Judaism are brief and rather negative-you know, Crusades, Inquisition and all that.
The mother went on to say that when her daughter tried to ask the teacher about things like wife beatings and honor killings, the teacher told her, "Oh honey, where did you hear all that?"

The next post is outstanding commentary that was written by a friend, Kendra Adams. What you will read was not written as an opinion or in an article. The comments were part of a very lively discussion about a New MP in Australia, who was going to be the first MP sworn into office using the qur'an, not the Bible. I was reading all the comments when I read Kendra's. I realized straight away what she had written was brilliant and well thought out. I asked her permission to share her comments with you all here on Patriot's Corner. She was very gracious about this request and granted her permission.
Kendra was responding to another individual's comments(Mishka), just so everyone who reads this will get how this played out.
Maybe it is just me, but I think Kendra has explained the difference between the Bible and the qur'an very well. This is about what is IN the Bible and qur'an. Eloquently discussed and supported by Kendra, I hope you get as much out of this as I have.

It did not call for universal perpetual jihad until the entire world was Jewish. In fact, Jewish law was for Jews alone. In Islam, Islamic law is meant for Muslims and non-Muslims alike. And, the violence in the Koran is mandated by Allah until the entire world submits to Islam and Islamic law. So, to compare the two would be a futile endeavor since it's incomparable. Furthermore, Judaism has ongoing reformation and willingly subsumes itself to the dominant culture.
In the New Testament, Jesus is the perfect ideal; the One to emulate. And, Jesus preached a message of love, forgiveness, and justice. If one followed the footsteps of Jesus, one would be loving, forgiving and tolerant of all. In Islam, however, the perfect ideal-- the one to emulate (as ordered in the Koran several times!)-- is Mohammad. Yet Mohammad murdered and beheaded, raped, enslaved, was a pedophile, lied and stole. This is the ideal human in Islam. Jesus and Mohammad could not be further apart. Jesus loved his enemies while Mohammad brutally tortured and slaughtered his. And, of course, Christianity has had two major reformations throughout the centuries.
Jihad is MANDATED in the Koran. . .it's not an optional tenet. It is REQUIRED. So, even if Muslims may not WANT to wage jihad, they must in some way support it, because it's a central theme. And, they can support it with money, propaganda, legal means, or by the sword. But, all acts of jihad are driven by the very book this MP swore his oath on. Jihadists today do what they do because of what was written in that book 1400 years ago.
When Christians killed in the name of Christ in past centuries, this was a misapplication of theology. When Muslims kill in the name of Allah, this is because they are doing exactly what the Koran tells them to do.
Nobody cares how Muslims pray, Mishka. . . or how many times they pray, or where they pray, or where they face. . . that's all the religious component. We care about the political component which makes up most of Islamic doctrine-- how to treat others, specifically non-Muslims. So, the Koran is really a rule book on how to treat the rest of us.
Islam is antithetical to democracy. Islam believes that no man-made law could ever be superior to Allah's law. And, Allah's law and the laws of Western Civilization based on Judeo-Christian values are diametrically opposed. In Islam, anything Mohammad did is considered sunna and is permitted under Islamic law-- child marriage, rape, lying, theft, and murder. It's antithetical to our culture and way of life."

The slavery of the Nanny government

No matter which political party Americans belong, their tax dollars are being used to help Democrat lawmakers maintain their control of the White and both houses of the U.S. Congress.
President Barack Obama’s frantic fundraising spree to help Democrats win midterm elections costs U.S. taxpayers millions of dollars and the carbon emissions spewed by the cross-country travel in a customized Boeing 747 undoubtedly contributes to global warming.
In addition, after Obama pushed a taxpayer funded handout to the unions that support Democrats, these same unions turned around and funneled tens of millions of dollars back to the Democrat Party for its candidates. In other words like it or not, Republicans and independents are Democrat Party contributors.
On New Year's Day of 1863, the first Republican Party President, Abraham Lincoln, with the stroke of his pen signed the historic Emancipation Proclamation. Only someone totally devoid of an education does not know how that document changed the course of history for an entire race of people, an entire nation and an entire culture. In essence, it ended the horrors of slavery. It ended the owning of members of one race by members of another race.
Unfortunately, too many citizens do not recognize the revival of slavery, albeit the more refined and less obvious enslavement of Nanny government. And, sadly, today more and more Americans are willing to give up certain freedoms in return for the promise of government largesse. And most of these citizens don't even realize what they're doing, because the news media are failing to perform their role as purveyors of truth and accuracy.
Enslavement will not come with a bang, but with a slow, relentless whimper. Each day, each week, each month, each year brings us closer to a state of de facto slavery as a result of greed disguised as "civil rights."
Ask most Americans and they will tell you that food, clothing, shelter and other necessities are "rights." Surely, they are necessities, but they are not rights that need to be provided by an omnipotent government.
And even when warranted, government charity has a way of morphing into government nightmares.
For example, part of President Lyndon Baines Johnson's "Great Society" poured billions of taxpayer dollars into a program that did more damage to the American family than any other handout. While the government paid women who bore children a monthly allowance based on the number of children in the household, it did not understand that the way the program's requirements were structured, millions of men left the home and in fact decided that the need for marriage was trumped by the need -- or desire -- for "free" money.
And yet, rather than retreat from government-run social programs, presidential administrations and lawmakers willingly continue to embrace spending programs that at best do not solve the problems they were created to solve, while at worst they create additional societal problems.
Today, the average citizen lives a fragile existence, in a struggle for survival that can be ended by missing a few paychecks. The carrot at the end of the stick which was formerly known as "the American dream" has been replaced by a whip that can best be described as the American nightmare. You no longer work to achieve a better life for yourselves and your children.
You work to keep a roof over your head, and you pray that you don't lose it because of oppressive taxation. Most Americans are oblivious to the excessive taxation, believing it only happens each April 15. They are not told by leaders or most of the media that besides income tax, they are taxed for just about every action they take. Go over a bridge, pay a toll (tax); paying your utility bills, pay surcharges (taxes); buy a product, pay sales tax; buy fuel for a vehicle, pay federal and state taxes.
Americans become de facto slaves when fear replaces incentive such as motivation to work. The leftist media regurgitates liberal-left talking points disguised as news stories about the wealthy living it up while the common man and woman struggles to feed themselves and their children. The idea is as old as Marxism. Even older. Create dissatisfaction to the point that people will seek out populists who promise much but deliver nothing but more power to themselves and their puppet masters.
The latest promise of a heaven on earth is Obama's medical care plan. Dressed up with flowery language and high-sounding platitudes, it is nothing more than a grand power grab of life-and-death decision-making.
A friend asked me rhetorically: Why would Americans turn over their health and welfare -- their very lives -- to a bunch of crooked politicians who spend most of their time covering up, lying, cajoling and cheating, all in the name of power?
Why are Americans so quick to turn life-and-death decisions over to a government filled with malignant narcissists? Could it be they want to be enslaved?

Was mohammed a miracle man?

It is taught in some schools in the Middle East that the qur'an was mohammed's only 'miracle.' So, if that is the case then what a rotten miracle. But is this even true? Most muslims in the islamic world read the qur'an out of a sense of duty to earn points, or ‘hasanat’. This suppossedly helps them earn their frequent flyer miles to help them get into paradise. I know alot of Christians who were led to believe that good deeds and reading the Bible was their ticket to heaven.
Sam Hindu helps sort out this nonsense about mohammed being such a wonderous miracle man. After reading this one can see and understand that mohammed was nothing more than a perverted pedophile and a violent individual. This is fairly long and please read through the entire article. Allah: Mohammed had no miracles

Allah made it clear in the Quran that he sent no miracles with Mohammed, neither in his Quran nor in his hadith. Would this stop Muslims from claiming that there are miracles in the Quran and sunna? I doubt it!
The Quran is the Muslims’ most read book yet it is the least understood. Muslims read the Quran to earn ‘hasanat’, which are the Islamic good deeds that help the Muslim go to paradise. It is the process of reading the Quran that counts whereas the process of understanding is just a bonus. This reward system is fair and should be considered a sign of Allah’s generosity because understanding the Quran is not an easy task; fourteen centuries on and Muslims still do not agree on its understanding! This is hardly surprising since the proper understanding of the Quran is only known to Allah and may be a handful of Arabs (1), which makes you wonder why bother writing it at all.
In my time, schools in the Middle East used to teach that Mohammed’s only miracle was the Quran. It was the language of the Quran which was in mind; the claims about the scientific miracles were nonexistent. That remained to be the standard education in schools throughout the Middle East until about the 1970s. Of course, nobody ever gave a convincing explanation why the language of the Quran was considered a miracle but it doesn’t take much to brainwash the children to believe such claims,
after all, the Quran does look like a weird book to learn or read.
After the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood and their alliance with Saudi Arabia, Muslims now attribute thousands of miracles to Mohammed. There are numerous organizations, all generously funded, with very aggressive programs for the purpose of spreading the concept of miracles associated with Mohammed. This massive multibillion dollar project is the Islamic world’s contribution to science, spreading ignorance through lies and pseudo research. By making their claims, the Muslim scholars deliver a pre emptive strike against any criticism to Islam. Their strategy is to cover up the areas where Islam is clearly vulnerable and present them to the ordinary reader as miracles in disguise.
This article highlights some unmistakeable assertions from Islam’s highest authority, Allah, that Mohammed had no miracles at all. To the Muslims, this should be the ultimate answer to those untiring groups who go around spreading the myths that Islam has miracles.
The Arabs demanded a miracle from Mohammed
Mohammed’s twenty three years career as a prophet is usually divided into two distinct phases: The Meccan phase and the Medina phase. It was in Mecca where the Arabs felt free to debate Mohammed and ask him whatever questions they had in mind about his claims. Mohammed was stunned by the many questions put to him by intellectuals like Omar Ibn Hisham (2) and Al Nadr Ibn Al Harith. Those men exposed the real clueless and speechless Mohammed who received no divine support. Abandoned by Allah, Mohammed became depressed (3) as he frequently failed to give answers. He used to go home and spend days or weeks thinking of those questions only to come up with odd answers that earned him the title ‘the madman’ (4). The typical example was when they asked him about the spirit; the Arabs expected an answer of some kind from a man who claims to communicate directly with God. Mohammed was speechless and no divine inspirations came to his help when it was most needed. It took him days or weeks of deep thinking to say this: “the spirit is something Allah knows about” which is hardly an answer worth waiting for.
017:85 they ask you concerning the Spirit. Say: “The spirit is something for my god; you are given only a little knowledge”.
Myths and stories of the past were part of the Arabs’ culture; Mohammed was particularly obsessed with the stories of the prophets sent by Allah in ancient times and used to tell those stories to the Arabs of Mecca with the hope they believe his claims of being a prophet himself. The Arabs were not impressed and rejected his claims. They even reminded him that Allah was keen to equip all his past prophets with miracles as signs of authenticity, a pattern that was never broken in the past. They insisted that Mohammed must show them a miracle in order for them to believe his claims. Of course, Mohammed didn’t.
The Arabs were so eager to see a miracle that when Mohammed revealed verse 34:9 (5) threatening them with a list of punishments, they asked him to go for it and ask his Allah and execute those threats (6) or at least perform some of those spectacular acts that lie beyond humans’ reach. Of course, Allah didn’t.
After his migration to Medina in 622 AD, Mohammed seized power and had no interest or time for debates; the sword did it all for him. It is ironic that after thirteen years of preaching in Mecca, Mohammed recruited only a handful of followers while the Medina Arabs converted to Islam overnight, no debates and no questions asked!
Mohammed’s failure to show a miracle was reported extensively in the Quran along with some of the most absurd excuses that defy common sense. Let us have a look at only some of those verses that the Muslims read every day but never understand.
1) Verse 17:59
“And We refrain from sending the signs, only because the men of former generations treated them as false: We sent the she-camel to the Thamud to open their eyes, but they treated her wrongfully: We only send the Signs by way of terror.”
In this verse17:59, Allah declares that He decided to depart from his old practice of sending miracles with prophets because the former generations did not believe in them. Now (that is in the seventh century), He only uses miracles to terrify people (how kind!). This assertion, on its own, is clear enough to prove the point- Allah did not send miracles to Mohammed.
Just in case the Muslims do not get the point, Allah repeated the above message in many other verses. Please read on:
2) Verse 20:133
“They say: “Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord?” Has not a Clear Sign come to them of all that was in the former Books of revelation?”
In this verse, Allah reminds the Arabs of what is reported in the holy books about the previous nations who received miracles but did not believe. In other words, Allah had enough and considers his past experience with the unbelievers as an excuse for not sending any more miracles in case the same thing happens again.
The Arabs of Mecca were understandably discontented about the above bizzare conclusion, which is repeated in many verses, that they would not believe because some former generations didn’t. This supposition is not only wrong but also contradicts some other Quranic claims made in other verses. Didn’t the Quran say that the magicians believed (7) Moses immediately? Therefore, Miracles worked in the past and produced some results.
More to the point, the prediction that the Arabs would not believe were completely wide of the mark. It didn’t take more than a few years for this verse, and many others like it, to be proved wrong. When Mohammed returned to Mecca as a conqueror, all those Arabs, whom Allah claimed would not believe, converted to Islam overnight, no miracles needed, just the might of the sword!
3) Verse 13:27
“The Unbelievers say: “Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?” Say: “Truly Allah leaves to go stray, whom He will and guides to Himself those who turn to Him in penitence”
In this verse, Allah gives a very strange, but honest, excuse. He says what is the point of sending a miracle? After all, it is up to Him to decide which people will go astray and which people will believe!

“They swear their strongest oaths by Allah, that if a sign came to them they would believe. Say: “the signs are in the power of Allah: but what will make you (Muslims) realise that if signs came, they will not believe.”?
This verse (6:109) reports that the Arabs swear by Allah’s name that if they see a miracle they would believe. This is a clear confirmation that the Arabs already believed in Allah, otherwise how do they swear by His name? Mohammed called the Arabs ‘the unbelievers’ because they did not believe in his claims. It appears from this verse that the Arabs were sincere and straight in their promise to believe if they see a miracle, so why not just send them a miracle?
The verse also states that Allah keeps those signs for himself, which is a very strange thing to do; what is the use of the signs if they were kept with Allah and never utilized?
After proudly reminding us that all miracles are with Him, Allah turns to the Muslims and asks them a question: “what makes you feel that the infidels would not believe if they see a miracle” We do not see the point behind that question or the difference would the answer make to Allah or to the readers of the Quran.
5) Verse 29:50
They say: “Why are not Signs sent down to him from his Lord?” Say: “The signs are indeed with Allah and I am indeed a clear Warner.”
The Quran repeats the claims that all the miracles are with Allah and confirms that He decided not to send any of them because, according to Ibn Katheer, he knew it would not make the unbelievers believe. The verse is basically another confirmation that Mohammed had no miracles (signs). The same logic is repeated in verses 6:37 and 13:7

“They say: “Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?” Say: “(Allah) hath certainly power to send down a sign: but most of them understand not”
The verse reports that the Arabs were suspicious of Mohammed’s authenticity because he had no signs. As an answer to the Arabs’ questions, the verse says that Allah is capable of sending signs if He wishes, which indicates that Allah did not wish to send one to Mohammed.
7) Verse 13: 7.
“And the Unbelievers say: “Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?” But thou art truly a warner, and to every people a guide”
In the above verse, Mohammed accepts the fact that he had no miracles and tries to justify such an odd position. He came up with the excuse that was only a guide, which was not a plausible excuse to the Arabs because they believed that all the past prophets were also guides to their nations but they all had miracles.
8) Verse 17: 93
“Or thou have a house adorned with gold, or thou mount a ladder right into the skies. No, we shall not even believe in thy mounting until thou send down to us a book that we could read.” Say: “Glory to my Lord! Am I aught but a man,- an apostle?”
In this verse 17:93, Mohammed makes an unequivocal admission that he had no miracles. It happened when the Arabs asked him to demonstrate for them one of a list of miracles they listed for him in this and the three preceding verses. His answer was clear and indisputable: I don’t have a miracle; I am only a human.
What about the Quranic Challenge?
Allah challenged all humans (Verses 2:23, 17:88) to produce a chapter that matches the Quran but nobody did. According to Muslims, this is an indication that the Quran is a miracle. This piece of information is known to all Muslims and would undoubtedly come to the minds of those who may read this article, hence the following comment:
The majority of Muslims do not know that the Internet is bursting with literature that mimics the Quran. Normally, no sane Arab could openly compose a work that mimics the Quran for the fear of death. However, the Internet provided a safe haven to those authors who are willing to take the challenge. Nevertheless, it is worth highlighting that the two greatest Arab poets, Al Maari and Al Mutanabbi, both composed their own Qurans albeit they were forced to withdraw their works and repent. Their Qurans have completely disappeared from history.
In the past, a renowned Islamic group called Al Mutazilla believed that although the Quran was the word of Allah but there was nothing spectacular about its style. The Meccan Arabs did not like the Quran and thought it was a poor kind of literature, which is why they thought Mohammed was mad. It was not unexpected for Mohammed to react by claiming that his work was the best in the world.
Mohammed was an Arab and the Arabs still react in a similar manner when in similar circumstances. It is still common in the Arabs’ culture for a person who produces a poor work to defend his product by saying “I challenge you and all your relatives to produce something similar”. Or even to swear in the name of Allah that his product is “the best product in the world”. On the other hand, people who produce works of high quality let it be literature or any form of art, do not makes such challenges. If the challenge verses mean anything they mean that the Arabs did not like the Quran. They are signs of weakness rather than signs of strength.

Allah made it clear in the Quran that he sent no miracles with Mohammed, neither in his Quran nor in his hadith. Would this stop Muslims from claiming that there are miracles in the Quran and sunna? I doubt it!
The Quran is the Muslims’ most read book yet it is the least understood. Muslims read the Quran to earn ‘hasanat’, which are the Islamic good deeds that help the Muslim go to paradise. It is the process of reading the Quran that counts whereas the process of understanding is just a bonus. This reward system is fair and should be considered a sign of Allah’s generosity because understanding the Quran is not an easy task; fourteen centuries on and Muslims still do not agree on its understanding! This is hardly surprising since the proper understanding of the Quran is only known to Allah and may be a handful of Arabs (1), which makes you wonder why bother writing it at all.
In my time, schools in the Middle East used to teach that Mohammed’s only miracle was the Quran. It was the language of the Quran which was in mind; the claims about the scientific miracles were nonexistent. That remained to be the standard education in schools throughout the Middle East until about the 1970s. Of course, nobody ever gave a convincing explanation why the language of the Quran was considered a miracle but it doesn’t take much to brainwash the children to believe such claims,
after all, the Quran does look like a weird book to learn or read.
After the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood and their alliance with Saudi Arabia, Muslims now attribute thousands of miracles to Mohammed. There are numerous organizations, all generously funded, with very aggressive programs for the purpose of spreading the concept of miracles associated with Mohammed. This massive multibillion dollar project is the Islamic world’s contribution to science, spreading ignorance through lies and pseudo research. By making their claims, the Muslim scholars deliver a pre emptive strike against any criticism to Islam. Their strategy is to cover up the areas where Islam is clearly vulnerable and present them to the ordinary reader as miracles in disguise.
This article highlights some unmistakeable assertions from Islam’s highest authority, Allah, that Mohammed had no miracles at all. To the Muslims, this should be the ultimate answer to those untiring groups who go around spreading the myths that Islam has miracles.
The Arabs demanded a miracle from Mohammed
Mohammed’s twenty three years career as a prophet is usually divided into two distinct phases: The Meccan phase and the Medina phase. It was in Mecca where the Arabs felt free to debate Mohammed and ask him whatever questions they had in mind about his claims. Mohammed was stunned by the many questions put to him by intellectuals like Omar Ibn Hisham (2) and Al Nadr Ibn Al Harith. Those men exposed the real clueless and speechless Mohammed who received no divine support. Abandoned by Allah, Mohammed became depressed (3) as he frequently failed to give answers. He used to go home and spend days or weeks thinking of those questions only to come up with odd answers that earned him the title ‘the madman’ (4). The typical example was when they asked him about the spirit; the Arabs expected an answer of some kind from a man who claims to communicate directly with God. Mohammed was speechless and no divine inspirations came to his help when it was most needed. It took him days or weeks of deep thinking to say this: “the spirit is something Allah knows about” which is hardly an answer worth waiting for.
017:85 they ask you concerning the Spirit. Say: “The spirit is something for my god; you are given only a little knowledge”.
Myths and stories of the past were part of the Arabs’ culture; Mohammed was particularly obsessed with the stories of the prophets sent by Allah in ancient times and used to tell those stories to the Arabs of Mecca with the hope they believe his claims of being a prophet himself. The Arabs were not impressed and rejected his claims. They even reminded him that Allah was keen to equip all his past prophets with miracles as signs of authenticity, a pattern that was never broken in the past. They insisted that Mohammed must show them a miracle in order for them to believe his claims. Of course, Mohammed didn’t.
The Arabs were so eager to see a miracle that when Mohammed revealed verse 34:9 (5) threatening them with a list of punishments, they asked him to go for it and ask his Allah and execute those threats (6) or at least perform some of those spectacular acts that lie beyond humans’ reach. Of course, Allah didn’t.
After his migration to Medina in 622 AD, Mohammed seized power and had no interest or time for debates; the sword did it all for him. It is ironic that after thirteen years of preaching in Mecca, Mohammed recruited only a handful of followers while the Medina Arabs converted to Islam overnight, no debates and no questions asked!
Mohammed’s failure to show a miracle was reported extensively in the Quran along with some of the most absurd excuses that defy common sense. Let us have a look at only some of those verses that the Muslims read every day but never understand.
1) Verse 17:59
“And We refrain from sending the signs, only because the men of former generations treated them as false: We sent the she-camel to the Thamud to open their eyes, but they treated her wrongfully: We only send the Signs by way of terror.”
In this verse17:59, Allah declares that He decided to depart from his old practice of sending miracles with prophets because the former generations did not believe in them. Now (that is in the seventh century), He only uses miracles to terrify people (how kind!). This assertion, on its own, is clear enough to prove the point- Allah did not send miracles to Mohammed.
Just in case the Muslims do not get the point, Allah repeated the above message in many other verses. Please read on:

“They say: “Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord?” Has not a Clear Sign come to them of all that was in the former Books of revelation?”
In this verse, Allah reminds the Arabs of what is reported in the holy books about the previous nations who received miracles but did not believe. In other words, Allah had enough and considers his past experience with the unbelievers as an excuse for not sending any more miracles in case the same thing happens again.
The Arabs of Mecca were understandably discontented about the above bizzare conclusion, which is repeated in many verses, that they would not believe because some former generations didn’t. This supposition is not only wrong but also contradicts some other Quranic claims made in other verses. Didn’t the Quran say that the magicians believed (7) Moses immediately? Therefore, Miracles worked in the past and produced some results.
More to the point, the prediction that the Arabs would not believe were completely wide of the mark. It didn’t take more than a few years for this verse, and many others like it, to be proved wrong. When Mohammed returned to Mecca as a conqueror, all those Arabs, whom Allah claimed would not believe, converted to Islam overnight, no miracles needed, just the might of the sword!
