Oh really?

Maybe the results these 'scientists' obtained are from years of excessive political

correctness, diversity and multiculturalism, what I call the three toxic stews of the West. Over the last several decades these toxic stews have done more damage to our society and the moral foundations of the United States. By making everyone, every group, every 'religion, every ethnicity, every 'gender' feel special, included and respected, we have contributed greatly to our own demise. When the experts, scientists, politicians etc. make 'non-Christians feel more secure, it always comes at a cost to some other group or religion. Notice how hardly anyone seems to mention this? Christmas trees 'make non-Christians feel excluded'

Christmas trees should be removed from public places to avoid making non-Christians feel “excluded”, scientists have suggested.

Researchers at Simon Fraser University in Canada, found non-Christians feel less self-assured and have fewer positive feelings if a Christmas tree was in the room.

The scientists conducted the study using 77 Christians and 57 non-believers, including Buddhists and Sikhs.

The participants did not know the survey was about Christmas, and were asked to fill in questions about themselves both when a 12-inch Christmas tree was in the room and when it was not.

"Non-celebrators" reported fewer positive feelings and less self-assurance in the Christmas room. Christians were mostly cheered by the tree.

Christians, however, did report feeling more guilt when a tree was in the room, which, claim the researchers, suggests the holidays can be stressful.

Michael Schmitt, a social psychologist behind the research, decided to carry out the study after controversy over whether Christmas should be celebrated in public in case it offends non-Christians.

He said: "Simply having this 12-inch Christmas tree in the room with them made them feel less included in the university as a whole, which to me is a pretty powerful effect from one 12-inch Christmas tree in one psychology lab.

"I don't think it's really going to undermine anyone's experience of Christmas to tone it down.

"We're not suggesting 'no Christmas' or 'no Christmas displays at all,' but in contexts where we really do value respecting and including diversity in terms of religion, the safest option is not to have these kinds of displays.

"I understand why it might feel threatening to people.

"But I think if people do care about making a whole range of different kinds of people feel included and respected, then we can make some small changes that would go a long way toward creating a more multicultural or inclusive society."

The researchers published their results in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology.

Cultural diversity gets a Kafir Doctor attacked for trying to treat a muslim woman

Here is a perfect example of what happens when political correctness, diversity and multiculturalism are allowed to run unfettered in a society. Incidents such as this one are quite common now and occur in many countries that have allowed muslim immigration. No matter where islam spreads, trouble, harassment and persecution always will follow. France, Sweden, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Canada, USA have all had incidents such as this one.

This muslim husband would have let his wife bleed to death following a hard labor and child birth. The doctor, a non-muslim or kafir was just following his training and what he most likely loved to do, treat people regardless of their race, religion or cultural background. I would be suing these two mussies to the hilt for such disgusting and vile behavior. If this doctor now refuses to treat another muslim patient, who can blame him. From Gates of Vienna.

A Kick in the Groin for the Kafir Doctor.

n one of those scenes that are becoming all too common in today’s Europe, a family of culture enrichers in Sweden attacked an emergency room doctor to prevent him from touching one of their women, even if it meant risking the patient’s life.

Our Danish correspondent Hans Erling Jensen has translated an article about the incident from Dagens Medicin (Today's Medicine). He has added a bit of editorial embellishment, and follows the translation with his own commentary:

Relatives assault male doctor

The doctor rushed to help a woman who went into violent hemorrhage after childbirth. But when the woman’s relatives discovered that the doctor was a man, they immediately went on the attack.

This incident took place at Örebro University Hospital in Sweden two weeks ago. According to René Bangshöj, head of the women’s clinic, the assaulted doctor had been called in to help a woman who had just given birth and who then underwent heavy bleeding.

“When the doctor came in, he was met by angry screaming: ‘We do not want a male doctor at the childbirth room’,” Bangshöj said to Swedish Radio in Örebro.

The doctor, however, took his medical vow seriously, and went towards the woman. That made her husband go berserk, and he violently attacked the doctor to stop him from touching his bleeding wife.

“And at the same time the woman’s brother came into the room and attacked the doctor from behind,” Bangshöj told the reporter. “The doctor tried to protect himself against the punches and kicks, but the two foreigners nevertheless gave him a sharp kick in the groin,” he said to Swedish Radio.

Several staff members had already alerted the police, who came in large numbers and had the two violent men quickly removed. Then the woman finally could be taken to the surgery room, and she was saved in spite of it all. [The question is now whether she jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire, now that a male doctor had touched her! — HEJ]

The doctor is now working as before on the ward, but the hospital has its security department working on the matter to determine if there exist continued threats against him after doing surgery to save one of those unfortunate women who have to give birth in a culture completely without decency.

According to the head of staff, Rene Bangshöj, it is not uncommon for patients’ male relatives to make demands on the department’s staff, advising them that women must be inspected by female doctors and not men. “We see it as discrimination against male doctors, if we should always have to be prepared to consider these kinds of wishes,” the doctor concludes his statement.

Hans Erling Jensen adds:

Eticha.dk has confirmed that this is about a family “of other ethnic origins”, and there is not much doubt about which twisted religious ideology they follow. It belongs to the whole picture of the scene that the doctor, according to the local newspaper, was alone at the department and served as the emergency doctor — there was absolutely no female doctor present in the entire place.

But for those people it was obviously better that the woman should bleed to death rather than be touched by a Swedish kafir, and a male doctor!

Caving in to islam, in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Once again the reek and wreckage of stealth jihad is wafting across our land. In long held, beloved liberal traditions of diversity, multiculturalism and political correctness, the Cambridge School District will now give one day off to honor a muslim holiday. Not a big deal, you say? I disagree and this is how it starts, islamic infiltration into all facets of our society, especially our education system. Next it may be anything negative said or portrayed about islam, muslims will be branded as hate speech(see the U.N. and the attempts of the OIC), or demands to accommodate muslim prayers times and ask for a 'prayer room', or hala foods served to students or the banning of all pork products from the school menus. If you do not think these things happen, guess again. This is stealth jihad. One little piece at time islam slithers in through the cracks in our own systems. From the Boston Globe. School system to get Muslim holiday Cambridge to start observance in 2011-12

As a Muslim and a high school senior at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, 17-year-old Dunia Kassay faces a tough choice every year on Islamic holy days: go to school or stay home to be with family and friends.

But if she goes to school, she will be neglecting what she feels is her religious obligation on holidays such as Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting.


“It’s really conflicting,’’ Kassay said. “Instead of fasting for a month and enjoying this really big day, eating and going to family’s houses, it’s kind of like, ‘Oh, hey, guys, I’ve got to go do my homework.’ ’’


But beginning next year, Cambridge public schools will attempt to make it easier for Muslim students to honor their highest holy days.


In a move that school officials believe is the first of its kind in the state, Cambridge will close schools for one Muslim holiday each year beginning in the 2011-2012 school year.


The school will either close for Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, depending on which holiday falls within the school year. If both fall within the school calendar, the district will close for only one of the days.


The school district’s decision, announced last month, was made as the national discussion about Islam continues, fueled by a Mosque proposal two blocks from the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in New York and Florida preacher Terry Jones’s threat to burn a Koran. The discussion has also touched local schools, as Wellesley school officials drew criticism recently for a video that showed sixth-grade students kneeling during a prayer service at a Boston mosque during a field trip in May.


But Cambridge School Committee member Marc McGovern, who pushed for the Muslim holiday in city schools, said he thinks people need to take a step back from what he called hysteria and the stereotypes of all Muslims as terrorists.


“At a time when I think the Muslim population is being characterized with a broad brush in a negative way, I think it’s important for us to say we’re not going to do that here,’’ McGovern said.


Cambridge schools already close for some Christian and Jewish holidays, and McGovern said he believes Muslims should be treated equally.


“The issue that sort of came up was should we celebrate any religious holidays, but there was not the will to take away Good Friday or one of the Jewish holidays,’’ he said. “So I said, if that is the case, I think we have an obligation to celebrate one of the Muslim holidays, as well.’’


State and federal laws require schools to make reasonable accommodation of the religious needs of students and in observance of holy days, but the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education leaves the decision about how to do that up to individual school districts because they “know best about the needs and unique demographic makeup of their student population and community,’’ said JC Considine, a spokesman for the department.


If a school district has a large number of students who observe Good Friday and would not attend school that day, Considine said the districts are allowed to close because of the expected low attendance. But the state does require districts to schedule at least 180 days of school.


Cambridge School Superintendent Jeffrey Young said the district does not collect information about the religion of its students. But Young said that there is a significant Muslim population in the city, and that, at least anecdotally, the Muslim population in the schools appears to be growing.


A large Muslim population is one of the reasons why the school district in Dearborn, Mich., began closing schools for high Islamic holy days 10 years ago, said David Mustonen, communications coordinator for the school system.

Mustonen said that at first there were some people in the community who didn’t like the schools being closed on Eid holidays. “However, I don’t think this is the case anymore as people have come to realize that it is no different then taking time off at Christmas or Easter,’’ Mustonen said in an e-mail.


In September, public schools in Burlington, Vt., also closed on Eid al-Fitr for the first time, said Dan Balon, director of the school district’s diversity and equity office.


Balon said there is an increasing Muslim population in the schools, and the district decided to close on the holiday rather than risk low attendance rates and force students to decide between school and staying home to celebrate the holiday.


Glenn Koocher, executive director of the Massachusetts Association of School Committees, said that to his knowledge Cambridge would be the first school district in Massachusetts to close schools for a Muslim holiday.


“Somebody has to be first,’’ said Koocher. “I suspect there may be heightened interest in this. We’ll see how this plays out.’’


Marla Erlien, chairwoman of the Cambridge Human Rights Commission, said the discussion about closing Cambridge schools for an Islamic holiday began several years ago when the commission conducted a survey at Rindge and Latin asking students about discrimination, and at a follow-up forum students raised concerns about how Muslims were a “discarded group’’ whose holidays weren’t recognized in the schools.


From there, several students, including Kassay and Humbi Song, a 2009 graduate of the high school, began working to raise understanding of Arab and Muslim culture at the high school and then advocating for a day off from school on a Muslim holiday.


Song, who is not Muslim, said she tried to promote awareness about Islam at the high school in part because she had Muslim friends who had been made fun of for their religious clothing and headwear. She said she thinks some students were uneducated about Muslim culture.


Erlien said she thinks closing schools on the holiday will help build connections with Muslims in Cambridge.


“As their kids come home and say, ‘Oh, look, we now have a holiday,’ the parents might begin to feel safer here,’’ Erlien said.


But McGovern said he’s sure there will be some people who think closing school for a Muslim holiday is a terrible idea.


“Can’t please everybody,’’ he said. “You have to do what you think is right.’’

Santa Barbara City College Board of Trustees Targeted by Latino Student Movement of Aztlan

We came across an interesting article written by Maria Garcia demanding bilingual classes for Latinos, translation of textbooks into Spanish and demanding special treatment regardless of legal status. It is abundantly clear her view is to take over our territories and not to assimilate and become English speaking Americans, but quite the opposite. She wants Latinos to be "served" and goes on to say they will be in the majority soon. This organization has targeted the Santa Barbara City College (SBCC) Board of Trustees and will layout the demands listed below.


She writes about the New SBCC Continuing Ed Association tied to MEChA, an anti-American Hispanic separatist organization MEChA is an Hispanic separatist organization that encourages anti-American activities and civil disobedience.

The radical members of MEChA who refer to themselves as "Mechistas," romanticize Mexican claims to the "lost Territories" of the Southwestern United States -- a Chicano country called Aztlan. A new SBCC Continuing Education Association to focus on Latinos and the Aztla
Movement has been formed.


The first SBCC Continuing Education Association to focus on Latinos and the Aztla Movement has been formed as neither the SBCC Continuing Education Division Latino Student Council (Consejo de Estudiantes para la Educacion de Adultos) or Associated Continuing Education Students (ACES) represent the interests of all students in the Continuing Education program. This new organization, which is called Movimiento Estudiantil Latino de Aztla (Latino Student Movement of Aztlan) is affiliate with MEChA which stands forMovimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan).

She demands special treatment regardless of their legal status, which lines up with the MEChA mission and philosophy, as they believe Aztlan was taken from them and that they are the true citizens while the Americans are the invaders.


Our Mission is to ensure that Latinos who attend the SBCC Continuing Education program have equal access to same classes all citizens and English speakers do, that Certificate Programs for Spanish speakers are offered, and that SBCC Continuing Education does not exploit students, immigrants, first generation college students, or workers regardless of their legal status.


Here is the list of demands to be presented to the SBCC Board of Trustees:


• Provide all Agendas and Board Meeting Minutes in Spanish, have Interpreters at all Board Meetings and provide isolated audio feeds to any Latino not proficient in English immediately.


• Translate the SBCC Continuing Education website and catalog into Spanish immediately.


• Increase the number of ESL and Citizenship classes offered each semester.


• Offer the following classes in Spanish: Entrepreneur Training Program, Computers: Spreadsheets ; Bookkeeping, Financial Seminars, Ceramics and Art Education by Winter of 2011.


• Increase the percentage of bilingual classes for Latinos who seek to enroll in the Continuing Education Programs to 60% by Spring of 2011 and 100% by Winter of 2012.


• Provide Certificate programs in Spanish for: Home Health Aids, Personal Care Assistances, Nurse Aide Training Program, Alcohol and Drug Abuse

Counseling, Global Sustainability ; Business Strategy, Plumbing Systems and HVAC Design,  Maintenance by Winter of 2011.
