Santa Barbara City College targeted by latino Student Movement of Aztlan

Here we have a latino group making demands, not asking politely, demanding that the items noted below become policy at Santa Barbara City College. Seriously, who do these ding dongs think they are. MECHA and Aztlan are calling us the invaders and they want to reclaim the American Southwest? These two groups are nasty, anti-Semitic and extremely prone to violence. "We are demanding bilingual classes for Latinos, translation of textbooks into Spanish and demanding special treatment regardless of legal status. She states: Institutions in our community which do not serve Latinos have no place in the community. We will soon be the majority and we will control and we deserve full respect and education now, not later." That was stated by Maria Garcia. Read on for a perfect example of what happens when the three toxic stews of western society are allowed to grow unchecked; Multiculturalism, Diversity and Political Correctness. This is from Right Side News.

Santa Barbara City College Board of Trustees Targeted by Latino Student Movement of Aztlan
By Rick Haymow

We came across an interesting article written by Maria Garcia demanding bilingual classes for Latinos, translation of textbooks into Spanish and demanding special treatment regardless of legal status. She states: Institutions in our community which do not serve Latinos have no place in the community. We will soon be the majority and we will control and we deserve full respect and education now, not later

It is abundantly clear her view is to take over our territories and not to assimilate and become English speaking Americans, but quite the opposite. She wants Latinos to be "served" and goes on to say they will be in the majority soon. This organization has targeted the Santa Barbara City College (SBCC) Board of Trustees and will layout the demands listed below.

She writes about the New SBCC Continuing Ed Association tied to MEChA, an anti-American Hispanic separatist organization MEChA is an Hispanic separatist organization that encourages anti-American activities and civil disobedience.

The radical members of MEChA who refer to themselves as "Mechistas," romanticize Mexican claims to the "lost Territories" of the Southwestern United States -- a Chicano country called Aztlan. In its national constitution, MEChA calls for self-determination by its members to liberate Aztlan, which is the Southwestern United States...read more here

Here is her statement on this new association, which has turned their demands on the SBCC Board of Trustees

A new SBCC Continuing Education Association to focus on Latinos and the Aztla
Movement has been formed.

The first SBCC Continuing Education Association to focus on Latinos and the Aztla Movement has been formed as neither the SBCC Continuing Education Division Latino Student Council (Consejo de Estudiantes para la Educacion de Adultos) or Associated Continuing Education Students (ACES) represent the interests of all students in the Continuing Education program. This new organization, which is called Movimiento Estudiantil Latino de Aztla (Latino Student Movement of Aztlan) is affiliate with MEChA which stands forMovimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan).

She demands special treatment regardless of their legal status, which lines up with the MEChA mission and philosophy, as they believe Aztlan was taken from them and that they are the true citizens while the Americans are the invaders.

Our Mission is to ensure that Latinos who attend the SBCC Continuing Education program have equal access to same classes all citizens and English speakers do, that Certificate Programs for Spanish speakers are offered, and that SBCC Continuing Education does not exploit students, immigrants, first generation college students, or workers regardless of their legal status.

Here is the list of demands to be presented to the SBCC Board of Trustees:

• Provide all Agendas and Board Meeting Minutes in Spanish, have Interpreters at all Board Meetings and provide isolated audio feeds to any Latino not proficient in English immediately.

• Translate the SBCC Continuing Education website and catalog into Spanish immediately.

• Increase the number of ESL and Citizenship classes offered each semester.

• Offer the following classes in Spanish: Entrepreneur Training Program, Computers: Spreadsheets ; Bookkeeping, Financial Seminars, Ceramics and Art Education by Winter of 2011.

• Increase the percentage of bilingual classes for Latinos who seek to enroll in the Continuing Education Programs to 60% by Spring of 2011 and 100% by Winter of 2012.

• Provide Certificate programs in Spanish for: Home Health Aids, Personal Care Assistances, Nurse Aide Training Program, Alcohol and Drug Abuse

Counseling, Global Sustainability ; Business Strategy, Plumbing Systems and HVAC Design,  Maintenance by Winter of 2011.

She ends her statement with this, and her email address to recruit others in their quest to retake Aztlan:

Institutions in our community which do not serve Latinos have no place in the community. We will soon be the majority and we will control and we deserve full respect and education now, not later. Race baiting is back is style for the demosocialistacrats

This is the only post for today as I am quite wracked with pain. My apologies and will be back over the weekend. This is from the Patriot Post and by Mark Alexander, the founder of the Patriot Post. An excellent article on how low the liberals are stooping. They have become quite desperate and will stop at nothing to try an retain their grip on power. They will fail in NOvember. Thanks for understanding! PatriotUSA

Race Bait Reality Check
By Mark Alexander

"We have seen the mere distinction of color made in the most enlightened period of time, a ground of the most oppressive dominion ever exercised by man over man." --James Madison

Obama's Race-Card PlaybookYou know things are going well when your political opponents resort to the lowest form of Demo-goguery -- race baiting.

Barack Obama has portrayed Tea Party Patriots as a gang of malcontents "waving their little teabags" and to ignorant for "a serious conversation." His Senior White House Adviser David Axelrod adds, "Any time that you have severe economic conditions, there is always an element of disaffection that can mutate into something that's unhealthy."

Such undignified characterizations notwithstanding, Obama and his Leftist cadres are clearly concerned that an enlightened grassroots movement to restore Rule of Law will undermine their Socialist agenda.

Last week, Obama surrogates at the National Association to Agitate Colored People (NAACP) took over the effort to stir that pot. The NAACP calculus is simple: If they can coerce the Tea Party into defending itself against spurious charges of racism, they distract the movement from focusing on the abject failure of Barack Obama's policies.

NAACP president Ben Jealous warned, "The danger of the Tea Party is that people see them and think about periods in history when groups like them were much more powerful than they are now, and so a lot of what we spend energy doing is explaining to people what reality is, and that the reality is that the majority from 2008 still exists. ... What we take issue with is the Tea Party's continued tolerance for bigotry and bigoted statements. The time has come for them to accept the responsibility that comes with influence and make clear there is no place for racism and anti-Semitism, homophobia and other forms of bigotry in their movement."

Jealous and his hooligans went on to officially condemn the movement as "a threat to the pursuit of human rights, justice and equality for all" because of its "the racist elements."

Perhaps by "racist elements," Jealous was alluding to the fact that almost 25 percent of Tea Party participants are racial minorities? Of course not.

Vernon Parker, an Arizona Tea Party congressional candidate who is a black, offered this rejoinder: "The NAACP should be concerned about bringing jobs to people in depressed areas. Not the Tea Party."

South Carolina conservative congressional candidate Tim Scott, who is also a black, added, "I believe that the NAACP is making a grave mistake in stereotyping a diverse group of Americans who care deeply about their country and who contribute their time, energy and resources to make a difference."

Ward Connerly, founder of the American Civil Rights Institute, concludes, "[R]ace is the engine that drives the political Left. In the courtrooms, on college campuses, and, most especially, in our politics, race is a central theme. Where it does not naturally rise to the surface, there are those who will manufacture and amplify it. Such is the case with the claims that the 'Tea Partiers' are a bunch of racists... I am convinced beyond any doubt that all of this is part of the strategic plan being implemented by the Left in its current campaign to remake America."

Not to be outdone by the NAACP, that erstwhile protagonist of race-baiting mischief, the "Reverend" Al Sharpton, claimed, "The Tea Party, as a political philosophy, is to reverse what civil rights did and that is saying the federal government must protect people. There clearly are some racial leaves in their tea bag, but this is not just about race. It is about how you see government."

Sharpton, who has retained his official media celeb race-card status despite having fabricated the notorious Tawana Brawley rape hoax, is now treated with the same admiration as the "Reverend" Jesse Jackson, he of the Jew-baiting "Hymies" and "Hymietown" comments.

But perhaps the most influential purveyor of this sort of racism is the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, who recently emerged from hiding to assert that Tea Party opposition to Obama's agenda is based on their hatred for "people of color."

Why is Wright the most influential of the race hustlers? He was Obama's religious mentor, an inexorable and unapologetic propagator of afrocentric liberation theology and its message of black supremacist doctrine and "social gospel" Marxism.

Wright officiated at Obama's wedding, baptized his daughters and is credited by Obama for the title of his book, "The Audacity of Hope." In that book, Obama describes Wright as the "vessel carrying the story of a people into future generations and into a larger world."

What story did that "vessel" teach Obama?

In Wright's own words, "The government lied about inventing the HIV virus as a means of genocide against people of color. The government gives [black people] drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strikes law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, g-d d--- America, that's in the Bible for killing innocent people. G-d d--- America for treating our citizens as less than human. G-d d---- America for as long as she acts like she is god and she is supreme."

Wright calls America "the US-KKK-A" and says the nation is "controlled by and run by rich white people. Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run. We believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in god. And. And-and! God! Has got! To be sick! Of this sh-t!"

In an ridiculous attempt to compare Obama to Jesus, Wright said, "Barack knows what it means to be a black man living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people."

Recall how Obama responded to video evidence of his mentor's black supremacist rants: "It sounds like he was trying to be provocative. ... This is somebody who I have known for 20 years [who] led me to Christ. He is a biblical scholar. He is a well-regarded preacher and somebody who is known for talking about the social gospel. ... [Wright is] like family to me."

The racist Reverend Wright has also been a featured speaker at NAACP events, spouting the same messages as has fellow racist Islamist cleric Louis Farrakhan. So before Ben Jealous lectures Tea Party Patriots about their "continued tolerance for bigotry and bigoted statements," he ought to pay more attention to his own organization.

Of course, Leftmedia types propagate accusations of racism by Obama's race-card cutouts. According to political science professor Jim Campbell from the State University of New York, "[M]edia have been successful in [playing the race card]. You have people now talking about the tea party and others in terms of this race issue, and that in itself deflects from what the tea party people are really concerned about, which is out-of-control federal spending and excessive intrusion of government. To the extent that the press, even by suggesting that race is an issue, if it gets everybody talking about the tea party in those terms, they have been successful."

For the record, racism is thriving in some American sub-cultures and movements, but the Tea Party is not one of them.

I also make a larger point -- that the Democrat Party has thoroughly institutionalized racial segregation by co-opting black America as one of its most loyal constituencies. Indeed, an unprecedented 93 percent of black voters, like so many lemmings, march in lockstep to their Democrat masters.

But, in the rhetorical style of Jesse Jackson, the message of race they embrace is a disgrace. The Democrats have replaced the chains of chattel slavery with the chains of welfare and entitlement slavery.

From the Lincoln Memorial in 1963, the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. proclaimed, "I have a dream that my children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." However, Leftists race-based policies such as "Affirmative Action" are precisely designed to judge by the color of their skin rather than the content of their character.

In 2008, Martin Luther King III declared, "race relations clearly will be advanced ... because of President-elect Obama."

Unfortunately, he was probably referring to "advancement" in the NAACP sense. And if so, he was correct

Oh No! Multiculturalism and Diversity Alert!! A stick figure of Jesus gets 8 year old sent home from school.

Nice job done on this 8 year old boy
by the teacher and the school. An
apology is in order, and the parents are
well within their rights to have their child
moved to another school. As to the call of
racism? Perhaps, but this did occur in one
of the most liberal states in the country.
With one of the most 'progressive'(regressive)
education programs in the United States. Maybe
the figure was Jesus on the cross? Jesus died on
the cross, remember? So the student drew X's
for the eyes, big deal. Whether the figure
the boy drew was of himself, or Jesus on the
cross, this was poorly handled by the teacher
and the school. A perfect example of how
polarized we have become. Multiculturalism
and diversity run amuck, and out of control.
This is a PMSNBC article. Any questions?

2nd-grader sent home for crucifix drawing

Dad says teacher became upset when boy drew himself on a cross

Student sent home over Jesus drawing

Dec. 15:
A Massachusetts school suspends an 8-year-old boy for drawing a stick-figure Jesus on a cross.
TAUNTON, Mass. - An 8-year-old boy was sent home from school and ordered to undergo a psychological evaluation after he was asked to make a Christmas drawing and came up with what
appeared to be a stick figure of Jesus on a cross, the child's father said Tuesday.

Chester Johnson told WBZ-TV that his son made the drawing on Dec. 2 after his second-grade teacher asked children to sketch something that reminded them of the holiday.

Johnson said the teacher became upset when his son said he drew himself on the cross. Johnson, who is black, told WBZ he suspects racism is involved. He said he thinks the school overreacted and wants an apology.

Johnson told the Taunton Daily Gazette, which first reported the story on Tuesday, that his son gets specialized reading and speech instruction and has never been violent in school.

An educational consultant working with the Johnson family said the teacher was also alarmed when the boy drew Xs for Jesus' eyes.

A call to Johnson was not immediately returned.

The boy was cleared to return to school on Dec. 7 after the evaluation found nothing to indicate that he posed a threat to himself or others. But his father said the boy was traumatized by the incident and the
school district has approved the family's request to have the child transferred to another school.

"They owe my family an apology and the kid an apology and they need to work with my son (to) the best of their ability to get him back to where he was before all this happened," Johnson told New England Cable News.

'A good thing'

The father said in the days before the incident the family had gone to the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette in Attleboro, where there are crucifixion statues.

"That was fresh on his mind," he told NECN. "And that was a good thing that he saw."

Superintendent Julie Hackett said she could not discuss an individual student and did not address the drawing specifically or the teacher's reaction to it, but did say the school has safety protocols in place that were followed.

Hackett did not return multiple calls from The Associated Press on Tuesday.

In June 2008, a Taunton fifth-grade student was suspended for a day for a stick figure drawing that appeared to depict him shooting his teacher and a classmate.

Of course, it is all about race with those who dislike Obama, all 283 people they polled.

Study finds race affects attitudes on Obama policy obama, health, racism - Front Page - The Orange County Register
Thanks to Fousesquawk

"Some have touted the election of Barack Obama as heralding a “post-racial era,” but prejudice swayed some from voting for the black man and is causing many to be wary of his policies, according to a new study led by UC Irvine's Eric Knowles."

I am so tired of this argument! According to
Mr. Knowles many of us did not vote for the
"black man" because we are prejudice. Oh
no, does that mean we are bigots, racists,
card carrying members of the KKK and
American nazi party? Not even close,
Mr. Knowles. For many of us it is about
Obama, what he represents through his
policies and agenda. It has nothing to do
with Obama being a black man. I could
care less if he was Chinese, a Jew, white,
Hispanic, Korean, whatever. I do not
like Obama because of what is doing to
our country and where he, and the
Democrats want to take to the United
States. Here is a suggestion Mr. Knowles:
try talking to more than 283 people before
you make assumptions about 300 million
Americans.

There are more of us than you think.
The number is growing larger every day.

Speaking of racists: Listen to Maxine Waters rant about 'Teabaggers and Birthers.'

A full blown far left, demosocialistacrat moonbat troll. She is a racist, bigot, anti-white, unconstitutionalist, homophobic troll. The leftards accuse conservatives of racism and bigotry? My apologies for the picture. I should have posted at least an R rating. Or maybe a U rating, for ugly.
