Teenager's bomb went unreported to the D.A.'s office, until now

In Portland, Maine a muslim teenager who built a bomb, a chemical bomb and set it off in a parking lot, may not have any charges filed against him. Another kid back in 2007 is possibly being prosecuted for setting a Ham sandwich down on a table where some muslim students were sitting. This happened in Lewiston, Maine and was referred to as a hate crime. I remember the sandwich event but had heard NOTHING of this most recent event about which Gadi Adelman is writing about here. Chemical bomb that explodes by a muslim or a Ham sandwich that actually does not do anything nor does it have the potential to injure anyone? Insulting to some, perhaps? Calling this the result of the dumbing down of America from the three toxic stews to the West; Political correctness, Diversity and excessive multiculturalism.

Last Tuesday evening at approximately 8:00pm an Islamic 13 year old detonated a bomb near the parking lot of the Islamic Society of Portland, Maine. Why was the DA’s office unaware this had happened?

Talk about things being ‘swept under the prayer rug’.


A fellow radio host of mine emailed me a story on Thursday night that I thought was a bit interesting, interesting because I had not seen or heard about it anywhere.


WCSH NBC Channel 6 out of Portland, Maine had posted the following story on their website Wednesday, September 22:


PORTLAND, ME (NEWS CENTER) -- Police say there were no injuries or damage caused by a chemical bomb that went off in a parking lot near the Islamic Society of Portland. The bomb went off in the lot between the Islamic Society and Back Bay Grill around 8:00 PM Tuesday night. Portland Police say Islamic elders came forward to tell them that a 13 year old from the Society was experimenting and was responsible for the bomb. Another bomb was also found undetonated.


Police say it's unclear if charges will be filed against the teenagers.


That’s it? That was the whole story? A 13 year old sets off a bomb, police even state “another bomb was found undetonated.” It happened near the Islamic Society, the Islamic elders admitted the 13 year old was from the society and “it's unclear if charges will be filed against the teenager?”


I’m sorry but I for one don’t want some ‘Junior Jihadi’ running around making chemical bombs anywhere and getting away with it by saying it was some “experiment” gone wrong.


I needed to find out what had happened to this ‘Junior Jihadi’ so I contacted the District Attorney’s office in Portland, Maine and what I found out scared me more than a teacher with a twitch in a suicide bomber class.


Friday morning I spoke to the head of the Juvenile Justice Division, Prosecution Team Leader, Assistant District Attorney, Christine Thibeault.


I asked Asst. D.A. Thibeault what was happening with the case of the bomb that went off outside the Islamic Society of Portland. Her answer was “what bomb?” My reaction, of course, was to repeat the question and her answer was “I have not even heard about it.”


What? Could this be real? How has the District Attorney’s office not yet even heard about it? So, I read the story to her right off the WCHS website. I asked her if it didn’t concern her that an Islamic teenager had set off a bomb and told her that the police even found a second bomb. She replied that “it concerns me anytime anyone sets off a bomb regardless of their ethnicity.”


Okay, good answer. I followed up with “given the current situation with the Ground Zero mosque and homegrown terror in this country does is not concern you that a teenager who is Muslim set off a bomb outside the Islamic Society and you have yet to hear about it?” Asst. D.A. Thibeault answered that question directly, “Yes it does and soon as we get off the phone I am calling the Portland Police Department to find out about it.”


That still didn’t sit well with me so I asked the Asst. D.A. what the procedure was for cases involving juveniles in Maine. She explained that “if it was the person’s first offense the police could choose to handle it informally with in their own community”. She promised to call me back after contacting the Portland PD and a few hours later she did.


When Thibeault called me back she informed me that she was now aware of the incident, but that the Detective in charge of the case was off until Monday, so she really could not give me any further information. She did explain to me that she now had the name of the ‘Junior Jihadi’ in question and that she had never heard of him. She also confirmed that it was only one individual that was involved and not “teenagers” as reported in the last line of the WCHS story.


Given the explanation that I received during our first conversation I asked “where do you draw the line of the ‘first offense’? Isn’t it a bit more serious when that first offense involves a bomb that can kill or damage property?” She did agree with that and said that she would contact me as soon as she had spoken with the detective in charge.


This is by no means the fault of Asst. D.A. Christine Thibeault. She sounded as concerned as I was and was as helpful as she could be, given that she was totally unaware of the incident. This all falls directly on the Portland P.D. for not notifying the D.A.’s office to begin with.


This incident took place on Tuesday September 21 and I spoke with the D.A.’s office on Friday the 24th, the Detective in charge is off until Monday the 27th and the D.A. was still unaware of it until my telephone call.


I don’t want to hear the Portland PD say that they were investigating and were planning on telling the D.A.’s office later, blah, blah, blah. Bull! This is something that should the Juvenile Justice Division of the D.A.’s office should have at the very least, been made aware of on Wednesday the 22nd even if an investigation were on going.


Now here’s where I am a bit lost, back in April of 2007 a student was suspended from the Lewiston Maine Middle School for putting a ham sandwich down on a table where a Muslim student was also sitting. It was referred to as a “hate crime”. Part of the story from the Renew America website stated:


The latest incident of "Muslim outrage" involves a middle-school student purportedly placing a ham sandwich wrapped in a baggie on a lunch table where Somali Muslim students sit. One 14 year-old unnamed Somali student is reported to have said: "At the school the next day, I didn't feel safe. I felt like everybody was against me. Before I felt like I fit in, and everything was normal." The ham-placing "offending student" has been suspended, the Maine middle school is calling the placing of the ham sandwich a "hate crime" and the local police are investigating the child. More charges against the child may be forthcoming. School Superintendent Leon Levesque said: "The school incident is being treated seriously as a hate incident!"


So, a ham sandwich is considered “a ‘hate Crime’ and the local police are investigating the child. More charges against the child may be forthcoming”, but an Islamic teenager sets off a bomb and “Police say it's unclear if charges will be filed against the teenager”. Was the sandwich an exploding sandwich?


This is where we have come to in this country people. I am tired of screaming about it week after week. Allah forbid we insult the Muslims in any way, shape or form, but charge the non-Muslim with a hate crime.


There is no telling what will happen with this ‘Junior Jihadi’, whether any charges will be filed and if so, if he will even be found guilty is anyone’s guess. But one thing is for sure here, had I not contacted the District Attorney’s office they would not have heard about it.


You can bet your Sharia Compliant local politicians that if that had been a non-Muslim 13 year old setting off a chemical bomb he would have been in cuffs and on every major network that night at 11pm. Oh, and of course, it would have been because his parents were Tea Partiers.

What  has obama done that we DO NOT know about? That is a very scary thought! This makes aboslutely zero sense and I can only come to the conclusion that the first muslim potus wants to give isalm every edge he can while he remains in office. Everything this poser of a potus, this traitor has done to facilitate the islamization of the United States makes me very angry and extremely nervous. It will take years to undo the damages wrought against our country by this traitor. obama is nothing more than an enemmy of the United States. Please, correct me if I am wrong here. Why is the FBI giving guided tours of its top-secret facilities to terror-linked Muslims?

A known Hamas operative in the largest terrorist financing trial in U.S. history – Kifah Mustapha – was recently escorted into the top-secret National Counterterrorism Center and other secure government facilities, including the FBI’s training center at Quantico, during a six-week “Citizen’s Academy” hosted by the FBI as part of its “outreach” to the Muslim Community.


Thhe group was accompanied by reporter Ben Bradley of WLS-Chicago (ABC), who filed a report on the trip to Washington D.C. on Sunday, who observed:


Sheik Kifah Mustapha, who runs the Mosque Foundation in Bridgeview, asked some of the most pointed questions during the six week FBI Citizens’ Academy and trip to Washington.


He pushed agents to fully explain everything from the bureau’s use of deadly force policy to racial and ethnic profiling. “I saw a very interesting side of what the FBI does and I wanted to know more,” Sheik Mustapha explained after returning from D.C. He hopes the FBI’s outreach will result in a better relationship with the muslim community.


Yes, I bet he wanted to know everything about the FBI’s policies.


Curiously, Bradley’s report on the Citizen’s Academy fails to make note Mustapha’s extensive terrorist ties and support for Hamas, including his former employment with the Holy Land Foundation, which was listed as a specially designated terrorist group by the U.S. government in December 2001, and whose executives were convicted of terrorism support in 2008 and sentenced to lengthy prison terms.


Mustapha was personally named unindicted co-conspirator (#31) in the case and employment records submitted by federal prosecutors during the trial showed that he received more than $154,000 for his work for the Holy Land Foundation between 1996 and 2000.


During the trial, FBI Special Agent Lara Burns testified that Mustapha also regularly sang in a band sponsored by the Holy Land Foundation that regularly featured songs dedicated to killing Jews and glorifying Hamas.


In a deposition he gave in a civil trial concerned with the murder of a Chicago teenager killed by Hamas while waiting for a bus in Israel, Mustapha admitted that he was the registered agent for the Holy Land Foundation in Illinois, and also to his involvement with other Hamas front groups, including the Islamic Association for Palestine. He was later hired as an imam by the Mosque Foundation in Bridgeview, which the Chicago Tribune reported in 2004 has long been a hotbed of Hamas support.


Bradley’s omission of this information about Kifah Mustapha in his report on Sunday is all the more curious since his own station aired an extensive investigative report of Mustapha’s terrorist ties earlier this year.


The WLS investigation into Mustapha’s terrorist ties was prompted by a report published by the FBI, which had cut all ties with CAIR until the Obama Regime took over.


The Investigative Project on Terrorism in January, had noted that Mustapha had been selected and trained as a chaplain by the Illinois State Police despite his documented terrorist support. The State Police eventually withdrew Mustapha’s appointment as chaplain and just last month he filed a lawsuit against the agency claiming discrimination aided by the Council on American-Islamic Relations, another FBI-identified Hamas front group.


There are several obvious problems with this episode, the first being the FBI’s “outreach” to a known Hamas operative (identified as such by federal prosecutors) and walking him through some of our country’s most sensitive counter-terrorism facilities.


Why should terrorist operatives have to covertly case potential targets when the FBI will happily escort them and taken them into areas they would never be able to reach on their own? Who’s next on the FBI’s “outreach” calendar, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his fellow GITMO detainees?


This ongoing “outreach” to terror-linked individuals and leaders of known terrorist front groups by senior leaders of our national security, homeland security and law enforcement agencies is the kind of behavior criticized by my colleagues and I in the Team B II’s report released earlier this month, “Shariah: The Threat to America“.


As I observed last week here at Big Peace, Matt Duss of the Center for America Progress and ThinkProgress.org demands that we continue this insane national policy of embracing the same individuals and organizations who have been caught openly cheerleading for Islamic terrorists and have called for the destruction of the U.S. and Western Civilization.


The other glaring problem is that a reporter working in one of the largest media markets in the country can travel to such an event and be unaware of or unwilling to mention his own station’s reporting on his travel partner’s terrorist support activities. Such is the state of the establishment media today.

She came illegally, lived in public housing for years, collected welfare, even got $51k in disability. And still she is angry at America. This case is beyond depressing. And it underlines what many people see today: that in the old days, immigrants came to America to lend a hand to our growing nation. But far too many today merely come for a handout. And their arrogance and sense of entitlement is a symptom of the broken borders and lawlessness we have permitted, which lets anybody in, asks nothing of them, and gives charity to the lazy while so many deserving citizens are forgotten. And where is the multi-millionaire Obama in all this? His Aunt, whom he spoke lovingly about in his book, STILL does not work, STILL receives disability, still claims to have "no money".

It's time to fight back against death threats by Islamic extremists

Earlier this year, after Comedy Central altered an episode of "South Park" that had prompted threats because of the way it depicted Islam's prophet Muhammad, Seattle cartoonist Molly Norris proposed an "Everybody Draw Muhammad Day." The idea was, as she put it, to stand up for the 1st Amendment and "water down the pool of targets" for extremists.

The proposal got Norris targeted for assassination by radical Yemeni American cleric Anwar Awlaki, who has been linked to the attempted Christmas Day bombing of a Northwest Airlines flight and also to several of the 9/11 hijackers. This month, after warnings from the FBI, Norris went into hiding. The Seattle Weekly said that Norris was "moving, changing her name, and essentially wiping away her identity."

It's time for free-speech advocates to take a page from the abortion rights movement's playbook. In the 1990s, abortion providers faced the same sort of intimidation tactics and did not succumb. Instead, they lobbied for a federal law making it a crime to threaten people exercising reproductive rights and permitting victims to sue for damages. The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, or FACE, passed in 1994 by solid bipartisan margins. A similar act is needed to cover threats against free-speech rights.

A federal law would do two things. First, it would deter violent tactics, by focusing national attention on the problem and invoking the formidable enforcement apparatus of the federal government. Second, its civil damages provision would empower victims of intimidation to act as private attorneys general to defend their rights.

Such an act is overdue. Across media and geographies, Islamic extremists are increasingly using intimidation to stifle free expression.

In 2004, Theo van Gogh was butchered on an Amsterdam street in broad daylight for his film criticizing Islam's treatment of women. By 2006, it was reported that "dozens of people" across Europe were "in hiding or under police protection because of threats from Muslim extremists."

Some targets, including the coauthor of this Op-Ed, fled to the United States, where it seemed safer -- and so it is, for now. However, the stark truth is the United States was never immune and the situation is deteriorating.

In 1989, two American bookstores carrying Salman Rushdie's "The Satanic Verses" were firebombed. Spooked major chains took it off display. And there have been many more threats that received less publicity. Few have heard, for example, about Oklahoma atheist Sabri Husibi, who received death threats after writing a 2009 article critical of his former faith. His aged mother in Syria was warned she would never see him again. "Clearly shaken," he requested the paper that published his article clarify that he is critical of all faiths.

These kinds of threats have had a formidable chilling effect. Mindful of the retaliation others faced, Yale University Press, the Met, the director of the disaster epic "2012" and countless others have decided to preemptively censor themselves.

The kind of legislation we propose is essential if we are to win the war of ideas against extremists, who use threats to drive the moderate message out of public discourse.

Existing state laws prohibiting intimidation are inadequate. On the criminal side, the heightened standard of proof deters prosecutors from investing scarce resources. Explicit grounds for a civil action do not always exist, and damages can be difficult to quantify. By contrast, the FACE Act, which provides the model for the proposed legislation, lets victims opt for preset damages.

The "South Park" incident neatly illustrates the benefits. On April 15, following the first of a two-part episode mocking Jesus, Buddha and Muhammad, RevolutionMuslim.com announced that "[w]e have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh." The "warning" included the names, photos and work address of "South Park's" creators, a graphic image of Van Gogh's mutilated body and pictures of other targets of Muslim extremists. Overlaying this was audio of Awlaki preaching about assassinating anyone who defamed the prophet. Panicked, Comedy Central heavily censored the episode.

This rather obvious threat could not be prosecuted. New York Police Department officials explained it did not rise to a crime. Were the FACE Act applicable here, a civil suit would have been available, and precedent suggests it would have been successful.

In 2002, on very similar facts, the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a civil award to abortion doctors who sued using the FACE Act. A fringe antiabortion group, ACLA, had in various public venues displayed "Wanted"-style posters bearing the names, photos and addresses of doctors who performed abortions. Their names were also posted on the Internet alongside a list of wounded and murdered doctors whose names were struck through. The 9th Circuit held that ACLA's activities constituted true threats unprotected by the 1st Amendment.

If we leave our artists, activists and thinkers alone to weather the assault, they will succumb and we will all suffer the consequences.

No substitute for real K-12 reform

 Seven Oregon school districts, including some in Central Oregon, learned last week that they’ll receive more than $13 million in federal grant money to design new ways to evaluate and pay teachers. That’s the good news.


The bad news is that the Oregon City teachers union is threatening to withdraw from the Chalkboard Project’s CLASS program, which received the grant. If any of that district’s money is used to provide “teacher incentives,” or merit pay, the union’s out, according to an article in The Oregonian.


Cooler heads may prevail, of course, and the Oregon City teachers may stay put. It no doubt would be difficult to explain to district taxpayers why factoring student performance into teacher evaluations is so problematic that the district can afford to turn its back on badly needed money.


But the union’s response to the conditions of the grant makes one thing clear. As good as the Chalkboard Project is, it’s no substitute for legislative action where education reform is concerned.


The Chalkboard Project does great things, to be sure. The creation of six of Oregon’s leading private foundations, it has worked to come up with reform ideas based on research and on broad discussions across the state. It currently is focusing attention on pilot programs, including the ones being set up in Bend, Redmond and Crook County, that seek to find new ways to evaluate teachers and to reward those who are effective. Its efforts are starting to pay off, too, though only a handful of districts around the state are involved.


For outsiders, the Chalkboard Project’s CLASS program includes two notable components. Teacher evaluation is one, and, to that end, participating school districts are using various criteria to determine who’s a good teacher and who is not. One such measurement is student performance. Union members have, generally, opposed any evaluation program that actually sought to see how well kids did with a given teacher at the front of the room. The CLASS project’s second notable component, rewarding teachers whose evaluations mark them as better than average, is equally unacceptable to the state’s largest teachers union, the Oregon Education Association.


The OEA’s refusal to support meaningful reform measures, in fact, helped sink Oregon’s application for federal Race to the Top funding.


Unfortunately, too many lawmakers appear to be prepared to look at Chalkboard and its successes, and cite them as proof that education reform is moving ahead briskly in Oregon. So it is, but on a very small scale. It’s no substitute for the kind of fundamental reform Gov. Kulongoski promised to support when he pulled the state out of the Race to the Top competition.

Joy of slavery for women of islam

Another good article from Sam Hindu. Women suffer horribly under the oppressive nature of islam. Through sharia law, women become nothing more than property and often times are reduced to sex slaves under the guise of marriage. Women have have few rights to begin with and they lose what little they have when they get married. You will find this a common topic here as I feel VERY strongly about this. It makes me ill to think that this goes on all the time in most islamic countries and our government is mostly silent on this matter of being an outspoken champion for women's rights throughout the islamic world. I leave you again with this though:; Where are the feminists, the code pinkos, the members of NOW? Why has Hillary Clinton not addressed this at the useless United Nations, now that this administration has become so much more involved in the United Nations? I did clean this up a bit so it was easier to read.

When I see Muslim women with in the Hijab and Burkha I have to question my myself. Are Muslim women really Dumb and ignorant of the facts or are they Brain washed from child hood to believe all the nonsense taught and programmed into their Brains about Islam and the female body?


Are they not aware that Islam treats the female body as just a vagina and marriage is a contract to use their vaginas however 'Master'(husband) wants to use them and enter any way he prefers? In Pakistan, women are called awra, or Aurat means Vagina.(via Sam Hindu’s Blog)


In the Muslim faith a Muslim man can marry a child as young as 1-year-old and have sexual intimacy with this child as soon as the girl reaches nine, consummating the marriage.

The dowry is given to the family in exchange for the woman(who becomes his slave and property)and for the purchase of her body, the woman, and to use her as a toy.


Even when a woman is abused or raped she can not obtain a divorce.


To prove rape, the woman must have (4) male witnesses.


Often after a woman has been raped, she is returned to her family and the family must return the dowry. The family has the right to execute her (an honor killing) to restore the honor of the family. Husbands can beat their wives ‘at will’ and he does not have to explain why he has beaten her.


The husband is permitted to have(4 wives)and a temporary wife for an hour. A prostitute at HIS discretion.


Shariah Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life of the woman and commands the man how he will 'treat' his property, the woman.


In the Western World(America and Canada)Muslim men are starting to demand Shariah Law so the wife can not obtain a divorce or have any rights, and he can have full and complete control of her. It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending American Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the Shariah law.


If you are a Muslim woman or plan to become a Muslim woman for sake of someone’s love, think twice before you jump into Hell or continue to live in Hell.


By passing this on, we can enlighten, educate American, Jewish, Chinese, European, Hindu, Buddhist, or any female kaffirs. Muslim women can hopefully wake up and avoid becoming a slave under Shariah and Islamic Law.


Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.


Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before emigrating to America in 1978, When she was eight years old, her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer. His family was stationed in Gaza.


When he died, he was considered a “shahid,” a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position inside Muslim society.


But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television.


In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping Sharia law – what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries.


For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose Sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization as we have known it, will be destroyed.


In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to possibly turn the outcome of the election of the President! I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on. So please do so!

It is known that Bill Clinton was elected on the back of voter dissatisfaction with Bush Senior. The American People woke up in early 1990 to the realization that the Reagan Revolution had been co-opted by the Down-East Establishment of New England Patricians. Nothing had really been allowed to change, at least in the substantial manner promised by Reagan and hoped for by America. Bill Clinton capitalized on this sentiment with a folksy twang and a manner that evoked Elvis.


What we didn’t know, or realize until later was the extent that Clinton had been “Kennedy’ed” by the media. Everything that was favorable was trumpeted and everything that showed the real and rather dark nature of Mr. and Ms. Clinton was squelched, black-faced or repudiated as hate-mongering. We were than treated to probably the most corrupt presidency in American history. It is a wonder that we survived as a nation. What we didn’t know and only aware of now is that the dogs of social engineering that had been kenneled during the Carter years had been unleashed.


Because George Junior was never really a part of the Down-East Establishment as his father still is, the dogs of social agenda were allowed to run free and ‘hound’ Junior all the days of his presidency. He was never allowed a break or a free breath. Bush Junior was probably the last freely elected president, at least the second term. He may have been allowed as a stopgap in the tug-of-war between the Mid-West Mob centered in Chicago and the Down-East Establishment centered around Boston.


The Chicago mob is back in power as it was in Clinton’s days. In fact, Obama is no different than Clinton or Carter. They all were stooges or front-men for the social engineers who believe they know what is best, as long as they don’t live their own medicine. The Chicago mob never went quietly nor will it ever truly cede control of the levers of power. It will grab the camera and the spotlight and anything else to denigrate those who don’t agree with it. Their Gospel is Plantation Economics and their agenda is radical socialism where anyone in business is an open target for extortion, legislated or otherwise. They truly believe in their mission.


The Obama Administration is their payback for having waited not so patiently all these years since Carter. But just as their agenda unraveled with carter, it is unraveling with Obama. Clinton at least had the good sense to back away from the edge and cover his tracks after the China connection was discovered. Clinton didn’t need to worry about the China connection as Wall Street was all for the emasculation of American Manufacturing and the demise of the Middle Class. Obama isn’t that smart and he believes in himself to such an extent he didn’t see the chance he had to co-opt business in October 2009 when he met with the Wall Street oligarchs. Now the social engineers have realized that they let their dog too far out on the leash and he can’t be reeled back in without exposing their influence and their game. Instead of moving the Overton Window towards more socialism and government control as they had intended, they are now jumping out of it as rats that are leaving the sinking ship that is the Obama Administration. I have no doubts that the birth Certificate will be ‘found’ and it will be the forgery everyone knows it to be. Thus is life behind the velvet ropes.


The prayer isn’t so much for Obama though he is certainly in need of it having been deluded throughout all his life. The prayer is for this country and its safety from all of those who have left behind in the government bureaucracy who are true believers and disciples of the social gospel of people existing to serve the government and the government being the font of rights, liberties and the permission to pursue what fulfills a person. Ultimately, we need God, in Jesus’ name, to take the broom, hyssop and fire hose to Washington D.C. and clean out all the corruption. So let us march forward on our knees in Jesus’ Holy Name to storm the battlements and strongholds that have been erected while we have been asleep.
