Treason.
What comes to YOUR mind when treason is brought up? In these times of serious and illegal government overreach, when the current usurper and thief, the sitting POTUS is taken into consideration, the word treason is often brought to bear and rightfully so.
Other President's have ignored or abused the oath of office and trampled upon the Constitution. None of them have done so as blatantly as Obama has. With complete and total disregard for the Constitution (May remind you that Obama calls himself a Constitutional expert), Obama has, I believe, directly given orders himself for many of the scandals and fires that are now besieging his administration. Obama, Clinton, Holder, Rice come to mind straight away are ones who someday will be tried and found guilty of treason. I have NO USE for any traitor or one who has so little regard for our Constitution.
I want to thank Historian for permission to 'steal', eh hem, with complete and total honor, his post for here. Please check out his site Views From LIberty Hollow. Quite a bit of fine stuff there. PatriotUSA

So many traitors and whom to choose? |
Progressive Treason
By Historian
Treason doth never prosper: what's the reason?
Why if it prosper, none dare call it treason!" -Sir John Harrington, circa 1600.
There
has been a lot of murmuring lately about various acts being treason, so
I thought it would be worthwhile to discuss what treason actually is,
here in these presently united States. According to the Constitution,
treason is covered under Article 3 section 3- "Treason;
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying
War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and
Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the
Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in
open Court. The Congress shall have Power to declare the
Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work
Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person
attainted. "
US Federal Code, Title 18, Chapter 115, Section 2381 defines treason as- "Whoever,
owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or
adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United
States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or
shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title
but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office
under the United States."
So, giving aid and comfort to the enemies of these presently united States is treason.
Given that Al-Qaeda and the Muslim brotherhood are both calling for the
destruction of these presently united States, it would appear that they
are enemies of these united States. So what do we call people,
especially those who have taken an oath to preserve, protect and defend
the Constitution of the United States, who have "Provided aid and
comfort" to Al-Qaeda? Traitors, no?
Why has Hillary Clinton, who conspired to deliver countries into the hands of our enemies and weapons into the hands of Al-Queda, not been indicted for treason? What prospers in Mordor-on-the Potomac?
Dare you, gentle reader, call this treason? What would Vince Foster say, if he were still around to speak?

Thanks for the kind words, PatriotUSA. My blog is about the answer to the question "What are the proper functions of government?" the first question anybody interested in living in Liberty ought to ask.
My pleasure Historian, totally mine.
More and more are asking this question.
Tyranny abounds in Mordor-on-the Potomac.
Hi,
Can I suggest watching the second video on the post "A New America" - every time I re-visit that period of history, alarm bells start going off & I see more and more parallels to America. Very worrying.
Yes it is Nick, very worrying and why I posted this fine piece by Historian.
