US Army need to watch their backs in Afghanistan

American troops in Afghanistan have had to take steps to protect themselves from murderers infiltrating their so-called allies and stabbing them in the back. The question arises: What's going to happen once we bring our troops are back home? If the so-called authorities we're supposed to be leaving in charge have been compromised to that degree, and our troops aren't there to keep the Talibanis at bay any more, then what are the chances that Afghanistan will do anything but revert to type and become a benighted, godforsaken hell-hole?
