Gary Fouse, fousesquawk: The news that the racist New Black Panther Party has put out a $10,000 reward for the "apprehension" of George Zimmerman is beyond troubling. It is something the Department of Justice must investigate and do so now.

First of all, there is no arrest warrant for Zimmerman and no charges as things now stand (which may change). Zimmerman is in hiding-not from police- but from vigilantes who want him dead. Even Spike Lee has been tweeting Zimmerman's home address. What the Panthers are explicitly calling for is a kidnapping if not a murder. (They have parsed their words carefully calling for Zimmerman to be delivered alive-not dead.)
Whatever one may think of this killing, this is a case of vigilante justice here. It is a case not only for Florida authorities but for the Justice Department to step in. The NBPP is a national organization that is calling nationally for a kidnapping-a federal offense. If DOJ thinks it can step in when state authorities try to enforce immigration violations, they can certainly step in here. The problem is-will they? Eric Holder's corrupt Justice Department has already substantiated accusations that it will not prosecute civil rights violations by minorities. They previously dismissed charges against NBPP members in Philadelphia who were threatening white voters with billy clubs in 2008, when all they had to do was file a final paper with the court to obtain a finding against them.
Once again, our Justice Department is on the hot seat. Let's see what Holder et al will do or not do.
Back from helping with family emergency.
Just a quick update that I had to be over in the valley to help my brother in law for the last four and a half days. He lives right on the Siuslaw River just outside of Mapleton. His property was badly damaged by the recent heavy precipitation, snows and subsequent flooding from the melt off in the Coast range. My brother in law lost quite a bit of his livestock, poultry and suffered some heavy damage to his home and outbuildings. Of course he has no insurance which I warned him to get when he bought the property a few years ago. I will just leave it at that! Not sure how I made it through these last four plus days but I am already paying a steep price and can barely walk due to pain. There is no computer or internet where I just returned from as my brother in law is a bit on the 'paranoid' side.
I will try to catch up later on today but I am sort of a wreck right now. I need to take my pain meds and go to sleep. My wife is threatening to drag my sorry ass to urgent care if I do not medicate myself and get a ton of sleep, so I have to sign off for now.

The Death of Merah- Many Questions Left Unanswered

We awoke this morning (PST) to the news that French police finally killed Mohammed Merah in Toulouse in a final assault. Again, I am linking the live blog from the UK Telegraph courtesy of Vlad Tepes, which seems to be the most informative at this point.

The police, of course, wanted to take Merah alive to see if others were involved. It is highly possible others were. Thus, this death is not the end of a tragic story. Aside from the above question, France, Europe and all of us have some serious introspection to do. This will not be the last atrocity committed against innocent Jews in the West.
This is largely the result of the intense and well-organized demonization of Israel by Palestinians and their useful idiots in the West. This is what it has led to. Forget this phony differentiation between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism. The former is merely a cover for the latter.
The Western media, particularly in Europe, has also played a role. They have adopted the Palestinians as their pet victim and contributed to the demonization of Israel. They have downplayed or ignored the anti-Semitic harassment against Jews played out on European streets because they didn't want to condemn their restive, unassimilated Muslim immigrants. Malmo, Sweden is a prime example, where the old Jewish community is leaving because they can't take it anymore. The mayor says, "Goodbye and good riddance" to them because he hates Israel. What Malmo has left is a 25% Muslim population that riots on a more or less regular basis.
Other cities like Paris and Oslo have entire neighborhoods and suburbs where the police don't even go-so-called "No-go zones". European cities, once noted for their safety in contrast with American cities, are now awash in crime, assaults, and rapes.
I have been amazed that the US News media has not given the Toulouse atrocity the attention it deserved-in marked contrast to Europe. The affair has truly rocked France to its core, and to a lesser extent Europe as well. In fact, if you wanted to follow the events, instead of the main stream US media, you had to go to French/European sources including blogs. Once again, the blogs are doing the media's work for them.
There is an article that has been going around the Internet for a few years now by someone identified as Sebastain Vilar Rodriguez entitled, "European life ended in Auschwitz". This person is believed to be fictitious, but the words are thought-provoking. He talks about how Spain and Europe have gotten rid of their Jews-the ones who were contributors to their societies and replaced them with an unassimilated mass of Muslim immigrants, many of whom contribute nothing but crime as they collect benefits from the government and spit on the host country's culture and values. Hateful? Sure. Unfair to the Muslims in Europe who don't cause problems? Sure. But the truth has to be faced squarely. Europe has a massive problem on its hands that will overwhelm them in a couple of decades if the demographic trend continues. It is not a matter of white vs brown. It is a matter of combating not only rising crime, but hatred that manifests itself in what we saw in Toulouse. It is a matter of Europe not only maintaining its identity, but its freedoms as well. Behind all this social train wreck and lack of assimilation is a political ideology/religion that makes no differentiation between religion and state. It has disdain for the freedoms that Europeans exercise, which they think (rightly in some cases) is decadent. Decadent it may be, but it is part of our personal freedoms that may not be in conformance with any religion. A free society does not make its laws conforming strictly to religion.
But what to do? Does Europe throw up its hands and say it is too late? How do you say to an entire population of immigrants that you are not welcome here and should leave? Europe also shares part of the blame in that when they brought all these workers into their countries to do the manual labor they didn't want to do, they didn't care about assimilating them. Then came the so-called political refuges. Now the chickens have come home to roost. Now they are dealing with grown up children of immigrants who hold citizenship-as did Merah-but don't feel themselves European.
But it has gotten worse than merely lack of assimilation. Now Europeans are seeing their children massacred for no reason-other than they are Jewish. What kind of sick mentality shoots a three-year-old child in the head just because she is Jewish? It is the same sick mentality that was on display a year ago in Itamar when a Palestinian massacred an entire family in its home including slitting the throat of a months-old infant in its crib.
We have no need for this type of mentality in a free and civilized nation.
But the question is not yet answered. What to do?
The prime ministers of the UK, France and Germany have all admitted in recent years that assimilation has failed in their countries. A few years ago, the prime minister of Australia told the Muslim community that if they were not willing to accept Australian values, they should leave. It is time for Europe to send that same message. It is time for the Western leaders to hold a summit with Middle East leaders and tell them as politely as possible that until this madness passes from history, more Muslim immigrants cannot be accepted.
This is not a call for Europeans to start rounding up innocent Muslims and shipping them home en masse. It does seem reasonable to begin the process of deporting those non-citizens who are on the public dole and/or have been identified as radicals or criminals.
Here in the US, we have enjoyed remarkably more success with our Muslim immigrants in that most came here as part of the educated class. The problem here is nothing like it is in Europe. But there is concern. We have seen plots thwarted that involved American Muslims. There is a radical element among our college youth. We also have so-called main stream organizations like CAIR claiming to represent American Muslims. What they really represent is stealth jihad, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Hamas-for starters. Most American Muslims are not of concern, but they are still viewed with suspicion. It is unfortunate, but the suspicion has a basis in fact.
It is a harsh message that needs to be sent, and law-abiding Muslims who came to the West to escape sharia and live a better life in freedom will be hurt. Nonetheless, the message has to be: Assimilate, respect our traditions, our laws, our freedoms, our plurality, and leave your hatreds at home. There will be no sharia in the US or anywhere else in the West. If that is the life you prefer-to live under Islamic law- then you know where you can go.
It is time for the West to stand up and deliver that message.

Hating America and so much more: Traitor Obama gives 1.5 billion to Muslim Brotherhood
One of the few 'promises' (if one can even use the word when discussing obama), he has 'kept' is circumventing Congress and doing all he can to help islam establish the global islamic caliphate by whatever means necessary. Innocent lives lost, women, girls raped, sold into slavery, young boys and men suffering the same fate. These are just the tip of the iceberg of horrors when it comes to islam.

Obama Bypasses Congress, Gives $1.5 Billion to Muslim Brotherhood

During a trip through Colorado in December of last year, President Obama spoke of his intention to implement his economic policies with or without the approval of Congress. Said Obama, “And where Congress is not willing to act, we’re going to go ahead and do it ourselves.” It now appears that such a mindset applies not only to economic matters but to the distribution of foreign aid as well--in particular, foreign military aid for the Muslim Brotherhood, who now hold the reigns in Egypt.
Congress has restricted and, in fact, halted military aid to Egypt until and “unless the State Department certifies that Egypt is making progress on basic freedoms and human rights.” After all, Christians and other practitioners of non-Islamic religions have had a tough go of it there. And of course, many Egyptian officials harbor such hatred toward the U.S. that one of the candidates for the Egyptian presidency has openly referred to America as the “infidel country” in media interviews.
Nevertheless, the news breaking now is that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will soon announce that President Obama will “resume funding for Egypt’s military, despite Congressional restrictions and objections from human rights and democracy advocates.”
Even Sen. Patrick J. Leahy (D-VT), a man with whom I’ve never agreed on anything, sees the foolishness of this endeavor: “I believe [sending the aid] would be a mistake. The new [restrictions were] intended to put the United States squarely on the side of the Egyptian people who seek a civilian government that respects fundamental freedoms and the rule of law, and to clearly define the terms of our future relations with the Egyptian military.”
Who knows; perhaps the Obama administration can also circumvent Congress and give the Iranians some nuclear materials or give Hamas some advanced weaponry? I know both ideas sound crazy, but they’re no crazier than giving $1.5 billion in military aid to the Muslim Brotherhood.

There is a great article today in Norway, Israel and the Jews. The Norwegian press is reporting that Palestinian Authority Minister Salem Fayyad is pleading with jihadidsts world-wide not to attribute their actions to the Palestinian cause. That is his own way of "condemning" the atrocity in Toulouse. In the post, you can watch the video of their Grand Mufti recently referring to the Jews as apes and pigs and quoting that well known hadith-you know the little ditty that talks about the tree telling the Muslim "there is a Jew hiding behind me-come and kill him". And don't accept that line they tell you about it not being an authentic hadith, as I have heard one Orange County imam explain. It has been authenticated by the Bukhari and Muslim collections, two of the most "respected" Islamic authorities out there as the mufti explains in the video. When this is all said and done, there is blood on many hands in Europe. That includes the news medias of countries like France, Norway and Sweden that have engaged in an orgy of pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel reportage over the years that has placed a modern yellow star on the chests of their own Jews as they ignored or downplayed assaults against Jews on their own streets and tolerated vandalized Jewish cemeteries and synagogues- all in the name of tolerance.
I wonder how our own American school textbooks (just exposed this week by Act for America) are going to explain this latest horror away for the 7th-graders. Don't answer that; I know. They will ignore it.

Jon McNaughton – One Nation Under Socialism
Provo, Utah (CBSDC) – Jon McNaughton, a controversial artist who often mixes religion and politics in his work, has released a new painting.
In “One Nation Under Socialism,” President Obama holds the U.S. Constitution as it burns.
While McNaughton previously depicted Obama stepping on the nation’s founding document, “One Nation Under Socialism” glowers directly as if challenging the viewer. His right hand is holding the Constitution and his left hand is pointing to the flames.
McNaughton tells CBSDC that the hands “represents his recognition of what is happening (to the Constitution) as it goes up.”
“There are numerous symbols and subtleties in this painting, and I’m not ready to reveal all of them,” McNaughton said.

The Fear of Martial Law - Alan Caruba
Here is the other post I mentioned earlier today regarding the Executive Order that the obama, the first mulism, illegal alien potus signed on March 16, 2012.
The Executive Order is The National Defense Resources Preparedness. This order allow the POTUS to take control of our lives and all of the economy. Read through this EO and look at who comprises the of The Defense Production Act Committee? obama has stacked the deck with his favorite statists and most traitorous haters of America he could appoint.
There has been much discussion of obama seizing control just before or if he is losing the election in November, declaring martial law. If he was to try such a thing millions of American patriots who own weapons and KNOW HOW TO USE THEM will be ready. I do not think the military would turn against the American people as everyone I know who is in or knows someone in the military has an extreme dislike of obama, period.
Alan Caruba and his site, Warning Signs is really worth your time. Mr Caruba is rarely off target and his concerns shared here are ones those of us who value our freedom, liberty and hold the Constitution close to our hearts should be deeply concerned about. We must remain ever watchful and vigilant. We are the watchmen on the watchtowers of Jerusalem.

The Fear of Martial Law
By Alan Caruba: The President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, has generated so much fear that the most common theme of posted comments and private communications is that he will refuse to relinquish power if defeated in November or that, under some pretext, he will declare a state of martial law.
Many, myself included, did not like the Patriot Act that was enacted following 9/11 but there is little evidence that this law has been abused to deprive Americans of their fundamental rights and freedom, though surely some suspected of being terrorists were detained.
An Executive Order posted on the White House website on Friday, March 16, 2012, has generated a wave of fear. It is officially about “National Defense Resources Preparedness” and its stated policy addresses “national defense resource policies and programs under the Defense Production Act of 1950.”
Its stated policy is that “The United States must have an industrial and technological base capable of meeting national defense requirements and capable of contributing to the technological superiority of its national defense equipment in peacetime and in times of national emergency.” (Emphasis added)
In 1950 the nation was entering a new phase of history following World War II. It would be called the Cold War led by the then-Soviet Union, but 1950 is also important because on October 1, 1949, Mao Zedung had proclaimed the birth of the People’s Republic of China, instituting a Communist regime that continues to this day. With German and Japanese totalitarian threats vanquished, new ones were emerging.
The new EO evokes fear because it is occurring in peacetime and, more specifically, when the United States remains the strongest military power on Earth. There is no indication that an attack by any other nation is anticipated, so the implementation of the EO raises concerns that its purpose is not what it says.
In effect, the EO allows the federal government, directed by the President, to commandeer and control all aspects of the economy and the lives of all Americans. It centralizes control to an astonishing and frightening degree.
As just one example, it parcels out control to “ the Secretary of Agriculture with respect to food resources, food resource facilities, livestock resources, veterinary resources, plant health resources, and the domestic distribution of farm equipment and commercial fertilizer” and thereafter to:
The Secretary of Energy with respect to all forms of energy;
The Secretary of Health and Human Services with respect to health resources;
The Secretary of Transportation with respect to all forms of civil transportation;
The Secretary of Defense with respect to water resources; and
The Secretary of Commerce with respect to all other materials, services, and facilities, including construction materials.
The obvious question is why is this EO necessary in the absence of any threat of an invasion or even an attack?
The obvious question is why should the President of the United States, in the run-up to a national election, feel that this is the time to issue such an EO?
I have frankly been dismissive of widely expressed fears that Obama would or could carry off a coup d’etat to establish himself as an American dictator. The problem, however, is that Obama has surrounded himself with Cabinet Secretaries and a shadow government of “czars” that would likely support him if he were to attempt such an audacious move.
The “legality” of such a move would be rubber-stamped by the Attorney General whose regard for the Constitution and laws of the nation is dubious at best, elastic at worst. The President’s views about the Constitution are well known and he resents the limits it puts on his powers.
Would Congress stand by and allow its powers be usurped? Imagine yourself a Senator or Representative fearful of arrest and detention. Rounding up all 435 members would not be a difficult task.
The nation’s media, with exceptions, has “covered” for this President regarding the legitimacy of his right to hold office, his absurd energy policies, and his takeover of various segments of the nation’s economic base; the auto industry, the insurance industry, and Obamacare’s attempt to takeover the healthcare sector.
That is why this EO has evoked such fear and concern and that is why Congress has to assert its Constitutional powers before this President is permitted to overthrow the legislative branch of government and seize control through an EO that is so broad that it is a breathtaking seizure of power that could only be considered if the nation was, in fact, under attack.
This EO is about “preparedness”, but for whom?

Eric Holder from 1995: vintage Holder showed his true colors on gun control
The fact that this video has now surfaced will not do Eric Holder or his boss, obama much good, running up to the election in November. Holder's guilt and involvement in 'Fast and Furious' has been upheld beyond any doubt(s). This plot has the stains of obama and his anti-gun agenda all over it. Those of us who hold the 2nd amendment close must be doing all we can to ensure that these traitors to our Constitution do not steal, 'win' a second term.
It should not be lost on any one of us all the Executive Orders obama has signed, especially the last one on March 16, 2012. This EO will be covered in detail in another thread later today.

Attorney General Eric Holder supported using Hollywood, the media and government officials in order to “really brainwash people” into opposing firearm ownership, according to a 1995 C-SPAN video that emerged Sunday online.
Holder, who was then the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, was addressing the Women’s National Democratic Club on Jan. 30, 1995. In his speech, he held up anti-smoking campaigns as a model for an anti-gun campaign.
“What we need to do is change the way in which people think about guns, especially young people, and make it something that’s not cool, that it’s not acceptable, it’s not hip to carry a gun anymore, in the way in which we’ve changed our attitudes about cigarettes,” Holder said.

Holder explained that he wanted to use influential figures like then-Washington, D.C. Marion Barry and the Rev. Jesse Jackson, as well as widely watched TV shows like “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” and “Martin,” to forward his anti-gun campaign. He sought to push that same agenda through public schools as well, “every day, every school, at every level.”
Holder said these resources would be the driving force behind a campaign to “really brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way.”
It’s unclear whether Holder still seeks to “brainwash” Americans into opposing gun ownership. Department of Justice spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler did not return The Daily Caller’s request for comment on the matter.
