9/11 ten years later: We the people declare this a day of remembrance, NOT one of service

I am proud to have Patriot's Corner once again join the following blogs The Spin Cycle, Two Sisters From The Right Raised On Hoecakes,  Steve Bussey.com, and The Samuel Adams Committee, as members contributing to this project The Right Blogfest..

Please be sure to check out these other great sites for their individual posts and opinions on the10th anniversary of  9-11-2001.

--------------------------------------
When one looks back and realizes ten years, a decade has passed since the day islam dared to attack us physically on our own soil at this level, I was not sure I could I could do a 9/11 post this year. There are so many outstanding ones to read and I feel woefully inadequate and incompetent when I read and watch many of these other phenomenal posts. Then there is the emotional factor of what we lost and how it affected each and every one of us who were old enough to understand the depth of horror and depravity that would attack us in such a way. I know too many people who directly lost a loved one on 9/11/2001.

I was recovering from a spinal fusion surgery when it all came crashing down. There is no need for me to recount all my personal events and feelings as that day unfolded except to mention this; I never moved from away from the television for almost four days. I ate or slept very little and I was IN a place where time and the world had stopped except for what I and millions of others were watching unfold on the screen before me.

What I am about to mention here I have NEVER SHARED WITH ANYONE except the man who was our Pastor at the time, my wife and a very good friend, who was homeless at the time and stayed with us so he could watch 9/11 unfold.

After ten years, it is time and I need to start sharing this, hoping there are maybe others out there who might have experienced the same thing or can tell me I am not completely crazy,  just a bit on the edges. Not ready to share all of it but again after ten years, it is time. Those of you who know the Lord and have faith, are deeply spiritual and prayer warriors may understand this more than others may. Please read through all of this as my portion that follows is just the introduction.

----------------------------

When they announced that a fourth plane was missing and presumed headed for Washington D.C. I started praying, down on my knees then flat on floor. I felt like I was passing out, maybe from exhaustion, pain form surgery both, I do not know. All I know is that I was reciting the 23rd Psalm, it was like a black fog was lifting and I was then hearing voices shouting in arabic, English and it seemed as if I was hearing a violent struggle. There was blood on the floor of a passageway, I saw what looked like four legs sticking out what appeared to be flight uniforms of some sort, and blood, lots of blood. I Could not see clearly at times and sometimes all was just a haze.I heard a voice, a voice that was just above a whisper but a whisper of calm in a storm of confusion, "pray for these people, for that is why I have brought you here as they will soon be home with me." I heard a voice yell out "It is time" and and some other words that I was not able to hear clearly. I saw a group of people charging up the passageway and another struggle ensued first outside, then inside a small space. There was definitely a mix of arabic and English shoutingg intermixed.  There were several people as best I could see through the blackness. It was obvious some part of me was in or near a passenger plane on a level I will NEVER be able to fully explain. Maybe the Lord will be able to explain this to me when I am called home. I continued praying, asking the Lord for whomever I was praying for to be victorious in HIS glory and to deliver these charges involved in a valiant, powerful struggle, to be home with the Lord, when all was said and done. There were more bodies and violent howling of engines and then it was totally gone and dark. All I heard was a thunderous explosion and briefly I saw a huge flash that I actually felt the heat from.

I come around by my wife(who was terrified) and my friend shaking me awake fearing I had suffered a heart attack. I was unable to speak for quite some time and it was when the first reports of a plane going down in Pennsylvania and authorities thought it was the fourth hijacked plane , Flight 93 and at that I turned totally pale and starting shaking. Whatever happened to me occurred BEFORE anything had been announced except a fourth plane and had been hijacked and was over Cleveland. My wife noticed my eyebrows, mustache and sideburns looked and smelled singed. Some had been burnt when I looked in a mirror later on.

This was all about flight 93 and it became very obvious who I had been praying for and why,  for Flight 93. I do not buy into any of the theories that flight 93 was shot down by the government. There is much more to the above but I just cannot go to that place in my soul right now. This is emotional enough for me as I am shaking as I type this out.

What I do believe is that the memorial that has been built to honor Flight 93 has been contaminated by elements of islam, incorporated into the memorial. Alec Rawls has done a superb job documenting this and exposing those parts of the memorial that are stained by islam. It is all part of islam claiming victory over a place where a battle has occurred and face it people, we are at war with islam.

This is not the time or place for this to be discussed. There is enough pain form 9/11 and that is NOT what this post is about, nor is about me. The above is setting the tone for what cones next.

Make what you want of the above but I will allow no disrespect towards the victims who died on 9/11 or their loved ones who survive today. You want to bash me and what I experienced, go right on ahead and do so. It will not be the first or last time and I have a very thick skin.

It was a bunch of people on a hijacked plane to hell who saved perhaps hundreds, maybe thousands of lives by their heroic actions. They are forever part of the fabric of greatness that we, the people of this nation, who make up. It was  343 New York Fire Fighters and 72 NYPD Officers that gave their lives answering the call to the worst attack ever to take place on the American homeland. That is what this post is about. All those who died on 9/11 and sacrificed their all to save their fellow Americans.

That is what this is about, those exceptional people. They are the embodiment of what the people of this country stand for and will always stand for. All will be remembered for their part in 9/11 and for me are part of the many who stood tall on that day that changed this country, me and you, forever. This is about we, the people of the United States and 9/11 being a day for USA,  the people of the United States of America to remember September 11th, 2001 and NOT as a day of service. This is a uniquely American day. Other are free to help us remember this day and we appreciate that from the depth of our hearts. The world knows all too well the heartbreak and sadness that comes from global islamic terrorism.

This will be the only post for today September 11th, 2011.

***********************************************************************************************************************************

9/11 ten years later: We the people, declare this a day of remembrance, NOT one of service.

A declaration of remembrance and reflection for the people of the United States Of America to honor the 10th anniversary of 9/11/2001 and every anniversary of 9/11/2001 that shall follow.

We the People of The United States Of America declare henceforth from this day on, the the day known as Sepetmebr 11th, 2001, forever be held, respected and recognized as a day of remembrance, reflection and mourning for all those who sacrificed their lives on this tragic and history changing day.

This day is to be remembered as a day America was attacked on its own soil by elements of islam and by those who held and shared in their hearts, an evil and diabolical hatred of the United States Of America and Americans, to the extent that they did this to cause death and destruction to as many Americans as possible, inside the borders of their own country.

There are those in our government and beyond who have attempted to rewrite the history of this dark yet historic day by sending out 'speaking points', trying to ban the words, islamic terrorism, muslim terrorist, islamic terrorist, jihad, islamic jihad and by banning those brave and valiant first responders from the most sacred ground we call 'Ground Zero.' To those who stand in this group, we say NUTS.

To obama, the first muslim illegal alien president of the United States and to mayor bloomberg of New York, we the people say this to you: This our day to hold and remember as we, the American People will do through our continuing and eternal prayers, through our sacrifice for the greater good of our country and by putting our freedoms first. Even if this means we the people of the United States Of America, must sacrifice our lives to do so. Those of you of traitorous stripes shall not stand in our way nor will you ever take our freedom or country from us. Your victories are temporary and this country's history will continue to stand out above all the rest and glory will be restored. You will wither in the face of American Exceptionalism as will our enemies.

To every one of those first responders, those who were held hostage on the hijacked planes, the forty who decided to take on the muslim terrorists aboard Flight 93, for all the 2,996 who died on 9/11, their families and loved ones, we the American People will will never forget you nor will we EVER call this sacred day September 11th, 2001, a day of service. Let it henceforth be known as September 11th, our day of Remembrance, to truly honor and pay homage to those who sacrificed by giving their all.
