Planned Parenthood: it is about ABORTIONS, stupid

I am stealing this from I'm 41 and Thelma Lou.

I asked for and received permission to re-post this here on the Corner.

My thoughts on the abortion industry and Planned Parenthood are well known to those who tread here on a regular basis.

This has been reported and posted on many sites and I am late in getting this post up.

I find the attitude of Ms.Snow totally repugnant and without any feeling, emotions or plain giving a damn. It is just a baby that happened to survive the first attempt to murder it so let the doctor and woman decide if they should murder it for good. After all, it is just a baby. PatriotUSA

Planned Parenthood Drops All Pretense And Advocates Post-Abortion Infanticide
By Thelma Lou

Must See To Believe — Especially notice the smirk on the woman’s face when ask about the obligation of a physician to medically care for a child born alive after a botched abortion!

From Protein Wisdom

Florida legislators considering a bill to require abortionists to provide medical care to an infant who survives an abortion were shocked during a committee hearing this week when a Planned Parenthood official endorsed a right to post-birth abortion.

Alisa LaPolt Snow, the lobbyist representing the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, testified that her organization believes the decision to kill an infant who survives a failed abortion should be left up to the woman seeking an abortion and her abortion doctor.

“So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because I’m almost in disbelief,” said Rep. Jim Boyd. “If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?”

“We believe that any decision that’s made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician,” said Planned Parenthood lobbyist Snow.

Oh.joy. Planned Parenthood tacitly approves of kermit Gosnell.

No wonder coverage of his trial has received little Lamestream media coverage.

491 Canadian Babies Survived Abortions and Left to Die from Patheos.com

The grisly logic of abortion is most apparent in the debates and discussions concerning what to do with and for babies who, against all the odds, manage to survive an abortion.

In most places, these little ones are discarded. Left alone, untended and untouched, they die the lonely death of a human who has been deemed less than human by other people …

A living child at the end of an abortion is more than an inconvenience. It is an assault on the illusions that sustain abortion as a “right.” Is it any wonder that these little ones are shuffled aside and ignored to death? Any other action would paint a bull’s eye on the entire linguistic edifice that sustains the lies of abortion.

A "post-birth abortion"?

How can a pregnancy be prevented—I seem to recall that the term "abortion" refers to such a thing—once a child has been born?

This is why language and meaning should be guarded vigilantly. I can think of no more relevant and pertinent quote than the following:

A man who deliberately inflicts violence on the language will almost certainly inflict violence on human beings if he acquires the power. Those who treasure the meaning of words will treasure truth, and those who bend words to their purposes are very likely in pursuit of anti-social ones.
The correct and honorable use of words is the first and
natural credential of civilized status.

Paul Johnson — Enemies of Society

Regardless of where a person stands on the issue of abortion people like Alisa LaPolt Snow must be called on the carpet. Irrespective of whether she actually used the term "post-birth abortion" or not, what she is advocating is the murder of another living and breathing human being.

Too bad how nobody on that committee was of sufficient scrotal endowment to simply call this sleaze bag on the carpet for her sophistry and hairsplitting about "logistics" of transporting a baby to the nearest hospital.

You dial 9-1-1 and that's that. Baby goes to a hospital. End of story. Alisa LaPolt Snow's thinly disguised efforts to advocate euthanasia outside the context of terminal illness or end of life dignity is abhorrent.

It demonstrates why, as Paul Johnson notes, one must be so careful about guarding against violence upon language. No better example of this exists than the term "female circumcision", an intentionally misleading phrase and one of the most and repulsive practices on earth.

For anyone who thinks that FGM (Female Genital Mutilation) is limited to a clitorectomy, you are advised to watch Colorado firebrand, Ann Barnhardt, hold forth on the topic in her four-part video, "Islamic Sexuality A Survey of Evil". Warning, don't watch the video on a full stomach.

It is this subtle twisting of language that Liberals are especially fond of. Remember, ├╝ber feminazi, Germaine Greer defends FGM as a form of "cultural identity".

A term like "post-birth abortion" and anyone who defends it is something that should be derided and ridiculed wherever and whenever it appears.
