A wonderful post that does not forget what we must never forget - an evil ideology.

I have two friends suffering from ALS, Maggie. We went and did the
ALS walk with the one who is still
failry moblie but we had to push
him in his manual wheel chair for
the walk, an honor to do. One of
old employers and has been a very
good friend and mentor. Thanks for
your blessings. He is going downhi ll pretty fast.

A most nasty disease, at best.

Yes, ALS is a terrible disease. My goodness, two friends suffering. I think you have had your full measure now.

It puts my own disabilities into
proper perspective and how lucky
I have been with what I have dealt
with. That I can help these two
friends out, is an honor. I am the
student. They are showing complete
and total class, the best outlook
on life I have ever witnessed in
my life from these two. As they
become prisoners in their own
bodies, their outlook on life
gets stronger, and more pure.
To say that this is a
humbling experience is a understatement.
