One thing that I have noticed is seriously lacking in the patriot posts I have received via e-mail from Newsmax, Wold Net Daily and others is the submission to God and the faith in Jesus Christ that was emblematic of our Founding Fathers and their families. How can you call the present excuse for an administration bad if you have nothing to cite as an authority as to what is bad, or good? God's Word has been removed from the Public Forum in much the same way mold is removed from a public place. All the surfaces are sterilized so as to prevent any return. Yet can anyone answer as to what truly separates America from the rest of the world if God's Word is proscribed and not to be mentioned? How can you call something bad if you do not know what is good? When called Good Teacher Jesus replied, "only your Father in heaven is good."
Sadly, the necessary inclusion of God who is Good is lacking in our condemnation of a government that is truly bad. Instead of taking up arms, though it may come to that, we should be on our knees in repentance begging forgiveness from God for having taken Him for granted for so many years. I could go on about how our Jim Crow Laws made a mockery of not only the Declaration of Independence but of God's own Word that says we are all the same in Christ and it doesn't make a difference who you are, even barbarian, or gangster, the Same Jesus Christ died on Calvary in payment of your sins and rose on the Third Day to secure your Salvation. Racism should even be named among us, but it is. What of the unborn who have no say? I doubt there is no greater chauvinism that to tell another human that because you are inconvenient and smaller than me that you do not deserve to live. Yet the same people that hurl the epithet 'male chauvinist' are those who treat their children no differently. Yet we are Americans. What of a man's word, nowadays not even a binding contract is any good or enforceable. We deplore what has been done in Washington D.C. yet we do the same and worse at home.
Patriotism begins at home. Revival begins in the heart. Repentance begins in the soul. We are very overdue as a people who called themselves "one Nation under God" and in imminent danger of incurring God's Wrath and Judgment. We are receiving our due recompense at the hands of the obama-nation that God allowed to have the rule over us. it is high time we repent.
