Dedicated prayer rooms at public schools in Canada and it gets worse..

“Someone’s faith is part of who they are. Accommodating them brings understanding and shows we respect them,” said public school trustee Cindy Watson.

Umm, no. Not even close. You are caving in to a political ideology that is hell bent on forcing the rest of us to bow to to their idea of 'religion' and demanding that we meet every one of their requests. If we do not they sue us at every turn. This is stealth jihad and with every attack on our freedom muslims become more bold and confident. So does this mean there will be special prayer rooms for ALL religions?
Will all religious requirements now be taken into account? No meat on Fridays, more kosher food, more halal food, and where does this stop?

"Under a provincewide policy, school boards must be more inclusive and accommodate different faiths during the school day. All faiths? Why any faiths and why does religion belong in or at school in the first place. Maybe at a private religious school.

This could mean a private place for Muslim students who pray five times a day and for students who are fasting, a modified gym class and a separate room for them so they don’t have to watch their peers eat lunch."

Read the rest below and this is from Creeping Sharia.

Dedicated prayer rooms for Muslims at Canadian public schools

WATERLOO REGION — Walk through the wooden door into the secluded, carpeted room with holy books and prayer mats, and it’s hard to believe you’re in a school.

But this is the beginning of a new phase for public and Catholic schools where prayer rooms could become commonplace.

Under a provincewide policy, school boards must be more inclusive and accommodate different faiths during the school day.

This could mean a private place for Muslim students who pray five times a day and for students who are fasting, a modified gym class and a separate room for them so they don’t have to watch their peers eat lunch.

Atieh Noori, a 27-year-old Muslim student at St. Louis Adult Learning and Continuing Education Centre in downtown Kitchener, uses the prayer room each day at lunchtime to say her midday prayers.

After school, Noori doesn’t have time for prayer so she appreciates the space.

A 27-year old student? Who clearly isn’t as dedicated to Islam as she’d like some to think. If you don’t have time it obviously ain’t that important. But rather than making a personal sacrifice, Muslims like Noori want everyone else to accommodate their Islamic habits.

The newly adopted faith and accommodation policy states that each student has a right to follow his or her beliefs free from discrimination or harassment. Areas of reasonable accommodation include observance of major religious holy days and celebrations, prayers and rituals, dietary requirements and fasting, religious attire and participation in school curriculum and extracurricular activities.

“Someone’s faith is part of who they are. Accommodating them brings understanding and shows we respect them,” said public school trustee Cindy Watson.

“When you create a policy, it already reflects what you are doing,” he said.

Indeed. What you are doing is Islamizing by submitting to an intolerant ideology. Much more dhimmitude via TheRecord – Dedicated prayer rooms may be part of new approach by province’s schools….h/t @dhummi

Blazing Cat Fur highlights the severity of the problem in Canada noting the Canadian Human Rights Commission and the Muslim Brotherhood are both adherents of the right of ”Hisbah” under Sharia law:

Hisbah: Allows a private citizen to prosecute any individual who commits an act he considers a breach of the Sharia even if the plaintiff himself has not been personally injured by such an act.

Guest post by Steven Davis: Islam, jihad and the global islamic revolution

This is by Steven Davis who is one of my best friends. We go way back. All the way back to elementary school, as a matter of fact. Steven is by far, one of the most intelligent, loyal and deeply spiritual people I have the pleasure of knowing. Anyone who drops by PC on a regular basis knows that I am very spiritual and love the Lord. If you have a problem with that then perhaps you may want to skip this next post. Or maybe you don't. You have nothing to lose and eternity to gain.

Thanks to Steven for his permission to let me share this.

Islam, jihad and the global Ilamic revolution
By Steven Davis

We are watching one country after another in the Middle-East experience ‘popular’ uprisings. In some commentaries this phenomenon is being referred to as the “Jasmine Revolution” and is described as a reaction to years of poverty, corruption, and oppression. While some of the countries and their leaders are corrupt the question begs the asking, “Does not Islam favor authoritarian rule over participatory government as a matter of religious tenet?” Does not Dar-al Salaam mean the “The realm of the submitted,” and Salaam mean peace as a consequence of submission? If this is true, why shouldn’t all Islamic adherents favor authoritarian and even dictatorial rule over themselves as submission to those in charge brings Allah the greatest glory.

Let us look at the list of countries that are experiencing this populist turmoil. The uprising began in Algeria, a former French colony and a functional republic if you discount the attempted insurgencies. Next is Tunisia, also a republic but not very well governed. Next door to both is Egypt, a democratic republic largely in name only but not a dictatorship as Libya is. Across the Suez and the Sinai is Jordan, which is a constitutional monarchy. And up the coast from Egypt is Lebanon, once regarded as the Switzerland of the Middle-East, that is now given over to Islamic populism and governance by Hezbollah whilst the U>S. and the Marines watch from the 50-yard line in the Mediterranean Sea. My question is, if this is about democracy and human rights, why haven’t you seen these uprisings in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq or even Kuwait? Why are there stirrings in Indonesia?

The CIA and MI-5 have been watching this ‘movement’ very closely and their prognosis is that this is virtual jihad. Instead of a trumpet blast from the spire of the minaret it is a twitter, text, or writing on a facebook wall. The missives are being directed to the disaffected youth whose only possession is likely to be a cell-phone. Today (fill in the black for the country), tomorrow the world! seems to be the rallying cry. Who or what is instigating and organizing such movements? The answer that is emerging is that it is The Muslim Brotherhood and this is an ongoing effort on its part to wage jihad against the west, and anyone who disagrees with it for that matter. As all of the countries where this is occurring are Islamic countries where other religions are marginalized, it appears you must be of a fundamentalist mindset in order to join and remain a member. Thus, you do and believe what you are told. Hardly democratic, wouldn’t you say?

What has everyone’s attention, and mine as well, is the way these ‘popular’ uprisings are spreading after the same fashion as a deliberately set brushfire. I would be more inclined to believe the movement was one of disaffected and oppressed, impoverished youth if the same was occurring in Iran, or maybe it did and was brutally smashed. We know this much, Israel is encircled and out-numbered. Israel knows this and is not saying a word. The United States is being encircled and the response from the government is kowtowing to those who are organizing these uprisings. The head of the Muslim Brotherhood has been allowed entry into this country by Obama, after having entry denied by both Bushes and Clinton. Is the leader of the Brotherhood carrying a can of gas in his cell phone? The California Supreme Court has allowed the confiscation and search of a cell phone as part of the arrest procedure. Will the Leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and his Jasmine Revolution be used as a cause celebre to support the final invasion of our privacy?

If the earth is your home and this life is all you have, I would be very, very afraid. As for myself and my household, we serve the Living God. Heaven is our home and we are on the road back to where our inheritance is, our Lord sits enthroned, and our life is secured for eternity. We have read God’s Word, and have studied it diligently, and will do so until we are called home. We have been given the understanding by God’s Holy Spirit to know the strife that is spreading in the Middle-East has its source in hell. Satan and his minions know the time is short. Thus, they are doing everything they can to bring down anything that even remotely resembles Christianity and destroy it if not discredit it. The hour is indeed much nearer than when we first believed.

As for Jihad, if I lose my head for Christ, know that I already have. As for Islam, they have been judged, it is only their sentence that is waiting to be passed.

In Christ’s love, Steven Davis

islamic comic books and cartoons are a threat to our children.

This people, is STEALTH JIHAD at it's worst. It is targeted at our children. The mullah in the White House, the first muslim potus is doing all he can to help islamize the United States and has dedicated millions and millions of our tax dollars to islamic organizarions and causes. This is crossing the line and is government sanctioning of religious cartoons. Cartoons aimed at an innocent audience! How much will be 'truth and how much will be taqiyya? Who will monitor these new cartoons? Cair, The MB, MSA, ISNA? From Family Security Matters.

"In the Islamic world, cartoons have a more sinister purpose. In Iran, on Al-Quds Day, Iranian TV schedules are filled with cartoons about evil Israelis with red eyes, shooting and murdering innocent doe-eyed Palestinians. For older kids, the heroes fight back, and even get martyred in the cause of Allah. Al-Quds day, named after the Arab term for Jerusalem and initiated by Ayatollah Khomeini in 1983, is a time for Iranian media to reinforce Holocaust denial and anti-Semitic propaganda.

A comic book is something that a child (or adult) elects to read. Pages must be turned, text must be read to make sense of the pictures. Animated cartoons do not require such deliberate behaviour on the part of the viewer. They are there, they move, they have a soundtrack with music, the characters speak, and no-one has to turn the pages.

However, there is now a new development, which will take what is essentially a religious notion and promote it on mainstream Kids’ TV. Hasbro is a toy manufacturer associated with manufacturing dolls and toys related to media products – Star Wars characters, My Little Pony. Hasbro has recently linked up with the Discovery Channel to create a new network that will be premiering soon, operating as a TV network and web platform. Brian Goldner, Hasbro’s President and CEO, said:

“We believe the time is right for Hasbro to take the next step into television through our partnership with Discovery Communications. David Zaslav and his talented team have the experience, track record and ambition necessary to make this joint venture a long-term success as we build this network. We look forward to creating fun, stimulating and educational content that will allow us to deliver all-new brand experiences to the young and ‘young at heart’ – anywhere and anytime they want.”

The new media outlet, called The Hub, will officially start airing on October 11, with veteran broadcaster Margaret Loesch running the schedule. And on the schedule of The Hub network will be an animated series called “The 99”, which will bring to life the Islamic cartoon superheroes. This is the first time that I am aware of where a religious cartoon series has been broadcast and aimed at the general viewing public."

Meet the Muslim Superheroes who are Ready to Indoctrinate American Kids

The appeal of animated cartoons can be long-lasting. I grew up in the 1960s, when the era of TV cartoon series was at its height. Until the 1950s, cartoon shorts by Disney and Warner Bros., such as Merry Melodies, Looney Tunes, Silly Symphonies, as well as Tex Avery shorts, had been designed for movie theatres, run before a main presentation. Those were added to kids’ TV schedules but cartoons were soon tailor-made for the medium of TV. William Hanna and Josef Barbera produced their own shows – with characters such as Huckleberry Hound or Yogi Bear voiced by Daws Butler. Countless other cartoon characters chased each other across the small screen, the most memorable being voiced by Mel Blanc. Cartoons were an integral part of growing up for kids around the globe.

Some cartoons from that time were pleasantly silly and some – such as Johnny Quest – tried to add something new with good drawing and ongoing narratives. Cartoons get into a person’s head at a young age, and never leave one. As I grew older, the cartoons presented to the next generation seemed lacking in fun, designed merely to promote cruddy toys, rather than to delight and entertain. Thundercats and He-Man, Transformers, were part of a roster of 1980s commercial cartoons that seemed to exist solely to promote toys.

Some cartoons had wholesome morals, but these were never forced. Wile E. Coyote never got to catch the irritating Road Runner, and his evil designs usually led to him plummeting off a cliff or being scrunched by the same rocks he intended to use as weapons.

In the Islamic world, cartoons have a more sinister purpose.

Muslims comprise only one and a half percent of the American population, but be prepared for the latest exercise in Muslim propaganda and toy promotion – “The Ninety-Nine”. This began life as a series of printed comic “super-hero” characters, each one representing one of the Ninety-Nine names of Allah.

The Ninety-Nine featured in printed monthly comic books, originally produced by Teshkeel Comics in Kuwait. This company had deals to publish Arabic versions of Marvel, DC and Archie comics. Now, the Ninety-Nine is on sale in North America, distributed by Diamond.
