Habemus papam: A picture of compassion and love-Updated

I know a lot of folks who are Catholic and when I saw this, I had to share this with not only my Catholic friends but everyone.

This image is so powerful, so full of COMPASSION, so tender, so much expresses the words and acts of Jesus to me, I felt my eyes starting to water.

Faithful readers, this is what Jesus would do.

This picture crosses all lines, all violence, all wars, all races, all  true religions, every social, every economic class and division.

Just for a second think and would you ever see Obama embracing someone like this?

To those who have dared to compare Obama with Jesus, I say answer me that.

The post was up on the site American Digest, which is a breath of fresh air in today's world gone violent and crazy. I have to also thank LadyRaven for steering me in and over to American Digest. Please check out AD and spend some time there. Great site,
all there is to it.

Please feel free to steal and share. I love honest, moral, ethical, honor among thieves.

I am your most obedient and humble servant who strives to walk in the White Lights of Jesus. PatriotUSA

Habemus papam

Pope Francis embraces man with tumorous disease : As he carried out his typical greeting of pilgrims at the conclusion of the general audience, Pope Francis paused for several minutes to receive the sick man in his arms. Moments later, he took the man’s face in his hands, kissed him, and gave him a blessing.

I have added this scripture in courtesy of Dr. Eowyn from FOTM. I have never been good at remembering scripture. Beautiful and true. PatriotUSA
Matthew 25:31-46
When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne, and all the nations will be assembled before him. And he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the king will say to those on his right, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.”
Then the righteous will answer him and say, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?” And the king will say to them in reply, “Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.”

Then he will say to those on his left, “Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, a stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.” Then they will answer and say, “Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and not minister to your needs?” He will answer them, “Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me. And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Please note that Matthew 25:31-46 is not about or an endorsement of the welfare state. Matthew 25:31-46 is about charity — private, individual charity.

The welfare state is the government coercing tax payers into charity redistribution of welfare, against our free will. That is not charity.

The welfare state enlarges the power of government and correspondingly diminishes individual liberty — the free will that God gives to every one of us.
The welfare state also encourages and engenders covetousness — the desire and greed for the fruits of others’ labor.

At least Pope Frances doesn't believe he is G-d. In fact he believes in the goodness of all men and women.
