Oregon State knocked the oregon ducks out of first place with their 5-0 victory over the duckes today in Corvallis. The Beavers avenged being swept in eugene last year that cost them the conference championship.
The Beavers get the sweep, the ducks still get to host a regional and it remains to be seen where Oregon State will end up for post season play.

It's A Sweep: Starr, Beavers Shut Down Oregon In Season Finale
CORVALLIS, Ore. - Taylor Starr scattered seven hits in 6 1/3 innings and Michael Conforto and Kavin Keyes each drove in two to send the 23rd-ranked Oregon State baseball team to a 5-0 win over No. 5 Oregon Sunday at Goss Stadium. The win sent the Beavers to a series sweep of the Ducks.
Starr improved to 5-2 after picking up the win. He threw 98
pitches in his second quality start of the season, allowing two walks
with three strikeouts.
Conforto, meanwhile, drove in the game's first two runs as OSU
scored first for the first time in the series. He singled home a run in
the first then doubled home a run in the third.
Keyes highlighted OSU's three-run seventh with a two-run single to the gap in left. That was preceeded by Ryan Dunn's single up the middle off Oregon closer Jimmie Sherfy, which gave the Beavers a 3-0 lead at the time.
Conforto's two hits paced the Beavers, who improved to 9-17 this
season when being out-hit as Oregon tallied eight. Ryon Healy and Kyle
Garlick each had two to pace the Ducks.
Jeff Gold started for Oregon and took the loss after allowing
three hits and two runs in four innings. The right-hander dropped to 8-4
on the year.
The Beavers' win, coupled with Arizona's 8-7 victory over Arizona
and Stanford's win versus Cal, means Oregon State finishes in fourth in
the Pac-12 Conference with an 18-12 league record. The Beavers finished
the regular season with a 38-18 overall record, matching their win
total from a year ago.
The Ducks finished 42-17 overall and 19-11 in Pac-12 play. Oregon finishes at best second in the league.
The Beavers now await their postseason fate, which will be
revealed on the postseason selection show Monday morning at 9 a.m. PT.
The show can be seen on ESPNU.
