Western tax dollars train the terrorists of tomorrow

According to Debkafile, "Hundreds of US, British and French military advisers have arrived in Cyrenaica, Libya's eastern breakaway province".

Effectively, what this means is that Libyan muslim terrorists will be gaining free training from the same nations that they would then try to destroy - the same thing that had happened with the Taliban and Mujahadeen, or the PLO-Fatah in Israel.

Ask yourself today, why does the American government pick a side in Libya? And why does it pick a side that would never support it back in the future? Is it plain idiocy? The delusion that these rioters are somehow 'civilized, educated liberals' that seek Democracy and 250 channel cable TV? Or maybe, if we follow the money, we see that once again, oil money dictates policy.

And in that case, the answer is the same answer that humanity knew for thousands of years, but that the west has forgotten - if you want a stable supply of a vital resource: you take control of it, yourself.
What is Libya at all? A petty dictatorship with no culture worth mentioning. A tract of land with no greater value for humanity. If there's any resource of infrastructure worth protecting there - it must be done by civilized forces. Giving this responsibility to an enemy only gives that enemy power over you, as the last century of pandering to Bedouins with oil wells has taught.
