Jesus said, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." (Jn 8:36)
So I would put to you that the freedom offered in Jesus Christ means something in eternal terms. The freedom the American soldier offers you is little in comparison.
Unless you think there is a comparison to be made between freedom in this life versus freedom in eternity (and this life as well)!

Mr. Cameron, Thanks for your comment and before you take anyone to task over this then I suggest you get off your soapbox and hear me out:
I have been walking with the Lord since 1987 and trust Him 100% and beyond for all that I have in this short, temporary life. The American soldier is also in my debt for now and forever beause they also have contributed greatly to the freeddoms that I enjoy on this earthly plane. I give credit to where credit is due and He comes first and foremost BUT there is NO WAY I will EVER short change the American military man or women their due that I, we owe them.
Are you english as your name might suggest? If not for that temporary American soldier you might be speaking german instead of english right now.
The sign in this post is not stating that the soldier is equal to Jesus and all that He has given us, not at all.
Freedom is not and does not come free, Mr. Cameron. Perhaps if you got out of your box ever now and then you might see this for how it is meant to be interpeted. I do hope you will return. One thing I will not not tolerate here on PC is the bashing or slighting of the American soldier. I do accept and understand your point but no one gets a free swipe, no one.

I can certainly add something.
