Another Islamic terrorist plot on American soil foiled. And, they expect us to believe that Muslims aren't violent?

On the good side, this tactic seems to work well for the intelligence services. However, the caught terrorists are just small fish, and the cost of running these programs is high.
Unlike the KKK, for example, muslims aren't a single, relatively small group of people that can be targeted and broken with counter-intelligence operations - J. Edgar Hoover style.
While sowing distrust amongst them is welcome, as long as there are muslims in America, there will be islam, and therefore potential terrorists.

Until the American establishment start seeing islam itself as the problem, not an imaginary sect of 'radical islam' that can be targeted separately, I'm afraid the tide of domestic terrorism will continue to grow.
