On September 11, 2010 a man holding a Koran just feet away from Ground Zero and Park51, set fire to its pages. "If they can burn American flags, I can burn the Koran," he shouted. The media, pedestrians, and other New Yorkers stood stunned to witness such an atrocious act on such a sacred day.
Freedom of speech is still protected by the first amendment of our Constitution.
