A perfect example of white washing islam

Vijay Kumar is one who gets it about islam and sharia law. Vijay is running for the 5th Congressional District in Tennessee. What you will read is Mr. Kumar's response to an article that completely white washes islam as a peaceful journey that is for all of us. No thanks, not at all interested in taking that trip. It is a one way trip to a 'paradise' that makes hell look like a holiday.

The Facts the Tennessean Suppressed
By Vijay Kumar

The article below was sent on Tuesday morning, August 17th, to Dwight Lewis—an editor at the Tennessean—in response to the Tennessean's publication on August 16th of an article by Lena Khan called "Islam is a source of inspiration, learning."

On Thursday, August 19th, I had heard nothing from Mr. Lewis, so I contacted him by phone, and he claimed he had never received the article—even though it had been sent to the same email address I had used to contact him numerous times before. I therefore re-sent the article—to the same email address—and he confirmed his receipt of it. He said he would "consider" publishing it. The time limit for a publishing a timely response to Ms. Khan's article has come and gone. He suppressed the article, which contains crucial information about Ms.Khan's connections that the Tennessean also suppressed when they published her article.

Here is my response article that the Tennessean suppressed. After you read it, you might want to ask Mr. Lewis why he suppressed the information contained in it. You can reach him at dlewis@tennessean.com or by phone at 615-726-5928:

Lena Khan is a source for the Muslim Brotherhood
by Vijay Kumar

When the Tennessean published Lena Khan's warm and fuzzy “hug-a-Muslim” article on Monday called "Islam is a source of inspiration, learning," they simply said about the author: “Lena Khan of Nashville is a writer and director for Ecmo Films.”

They didn't mention that Ms. Khan had received funding from and worked for the Muslim American Society (MAS), the U.S. arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, whose goal is the “introduction of the Islamic Shari'ah as the basis controlling the affairs of state and society.” If you don't know what that means, it means that they exist to overthrow the Constitution and the government of the United States and to replace it with a totalitarian Islamic theocracy.

In the infamous Holy Land Foundation case, one internal document spelled out the true strategy behind Ms. Khan's benefactors using people like her to spread a benign and friendly message: “The Ikhwan [Muslim Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion [Islam] is made victorious over all other religions.”

As the Islamic authority Syed Abul A'ala Maududi put it: “Islam wishes to destroy all states and governments anywhere on the face of the earth which are opposed to the ideology and program of Islam regardless of the country or the nation which rules it. The purpose of Islam is to set up a State on the basis of its own ideology and program.”

Richard Clark, who was the National Security Council's chief counter-terrorism advisor under both Clinton and Bush, has said that “the common link” between the most violent and active terrorist organizations, such as Hamas, al Queda, and Islamic Jihad, is Ms. Khan's source of funding. “All of these organizations are descendants of the membership and ideology of the Muslim Brothers,” he said.

That's quite a “source of inspiration”—and source of funding—for Ms. Khan to wax so gushingly over, while telling us how sweet and innocent she and other Muslims really, really are.

Of course, in the time-honored Islamic tradition of taqiyya (lying to infidels), MAS does everything it can to conceal its true origins and purposes, and to put on a happy face—like Ms. Khan's. MAS was created when members of the Brotherhood, many of them supporters of Hamas, met at a Days Inn near the Alabama-Tennessee border during the early 1990s and agreed to call themselves the Muslim American Society. They further agreed “not to refer to themselves as the Brotherhood,” according to the Chicago Tribune, while keeping the same goals of overthrowing the American government.

One of the requirements of becoming an “active member” of Ms. Khan's benefactor, MAS, is to study the works of one of the Brotherhood's most revered authoritarians and martyrs, Syed Qutb. Some of Qutb's quotes of note:

“All Westerners are the same: a rotten conscience, a false civilization. How I hate these Westerners, how I despise all of them without exception.”

“A Muslim has no nationality except his belief.”

“There is only one law which ought to be followed, and that is the Shari'ah.”

Ah: now there is some of Ms. Khan's inspirational “learning.” Qutb's books are sold in the Muslim mosques that Ms. Khan assures us are “against extremism.” It warms the heart, doesn't it?

Everyone has the freedom for their views, but it is unfortunate that people just go off of information without checking it. Thus far, I have found dozens of supposed statements from Islam that Vijay Kumar has cited, which are not from Muslim sources and Muslims deem to be fabricated.

Further, the thing I can speak on most in this article is the lies therein. I have never received any money from MAS, and I challenge Mr. Kumar to prove it. Instead, he has just made up lies, and has no information to prove it. I could provide even all my bank accounts for the past few years, and he would find nothing from MAS. In fact, MAS once gave me a check, which I returned and never cashed.

Freedom of speech is a principle here, but we are also a nation of honor, where we don't just take lies as truth and at least have the good sense to form our opinions off of accurate information.

If Vijay did his research he would also know that I did not ever work for MAS, and the fact that MAS has one of my films listed on their pages was incorrect since I did not take their money.

This article is libel, and yet people spread it around like fact. One with decency, after knowing that these claims were not substantiated, would either substantiate them themselves or have the courtesy to take them down. This sort of honor and dignity is what is American, not spreading falsehoods.

Ms. Khan,
Your comment has been posted.

Send the 'sources' that back up your claims and I will post them here in fairness to all side
concerned. I have not found Mr.
Kumar to be off his remarks when
it comes to islam and sharia law.

When islam is rife with taqiyya in
words spoken and printed materials
why should anyone trust islamic or
muslim sources, Ms.Khan? I rarely
use them as they have been found
to be inaccurate and prone to
bold claims in regard to fairness within islam.
1400 years of islamic history has made these claims a moot point by continued actions no matter where islam has spread.

How does one know you have not received 'other'
assistance from the MAS, or
other islamic organizations?
We don't and can only take your word on that.

I just found out that another page, one with views much like yours, took his blog post down after I wrote them defending myself. I feel it was very honorable of him, and I hope others can have the decency to do the same, until they do an investigation. If scant information on random web sites without even speaking to and investigating the defense of the person in question was allowed, why would we even need courts? We could just do as Mr. Kumar did, and make up things and fail to investigate them in order to defame the reputation of a 26 year old American girl on the entire Internet.

I am not asking you to change your views in general, but I think what I am asking is quite fair and I would hope those of decency, like the other blog owner, would comply out of American values of justice and even due process...in the public life of gossips and rumor and not just in the courts.

Ms. Khan,
I am considering your request and
have not decided yet. We can have
a grand pissing contest about islam, the prohet muhammad and what
he 'said', muslim sources that have
been painted in a different light
to play down the calls for violence, persecution, subjugation of non-muslims, not to mention women, Ms.Khan all day and night.
You, or no one else can change my
mind about islam and sharia law.
I have read several 'translations'
of the qur'an and there is very
little of worth in it. The calls
for jihad, death to those who refuse to convert etc are quite clear and have been well noted by many.

The fact that you decide to follow
an ideology, a cult where one of the great leaders married a six year old girl and consummated the
'marriage' at nine is as sad.
That is your choice.

I would never post ANYONE's financial records here for
all to see and that was a poor choice of words on my part.

What you seem to fail to grasp is
how 'wonderful' the article made islam out to be. That is a lie.
You can buy into the brainwashing,
I choose not to.

I find strange for you to speak of
'American values' when you follow
islam which is in complete opposition to our American values. Sharia law is incompatible with the West and our Constitution, Ms. Khan. That is another artcile for another time. As I said, I am considering your request and let's leave it at this.

It is not about hate Ms. Khan, not at all. It is what I have learned about islam and sharia law since
1979. It is about 1400 years of
islamic violence and death, wholesale persecution of the Christians and Jews.

To anyone who might be following this besides Ms.Khan. I have been asked by her to pull down this post. As of this time, I am not sure if I will or won't. I have sent Ms.Khan's comments to Mr. Kumar. Why did she not respond to Vijay Kumar directly? Hmmm.....

I will see if Vijay Kumar answers
these accusations about him. That
is what I am calling them. I do
understand Ms. Khan's points BUT
this all started with an article
about her in a Tennessee paper.
I am smelling taqiyya, the cry
baby muslim syndrome and trying
have it both ways via islam.
That seldom works out if it is
confronted by the truth. I have
found Mr. Kumar to an Honest and
upfront individual. If he lived
here in my home state I would be
working for his campaign.
