I agree with General McCrystal's assesment of Obama and Afghanistan

“Now that General McChrystal is no longer part of the military chain of command, he is free to expose the mismanagement of the war by the Obama administration, which is what got him in trouble in the first place.” said Move America Forward’s Director of Communications, Danny Gonzalez.

“In a time when America is at war, when the greatest threat to American security is Islamic terrorism, it is appalling and inexcusable that the Obama administration is preoccupied, uninformed, and disinterested in winning the war in Afghanistan. It’s now public that McChrystal was frustrated with Obama’s people who are getting in the way of progress in Afghanistan, and the American people deserve to know the truth. We implore General McChrystal to blow the whistle and go public with what he knows.” Gonzalez said. I would love to see McCrystal share his complete view and expose Obama for the arrogant, ignorant fool that he truly is. Read the rest below.

McChrystal's opinion of Obama shared by others

Examiner.com: Although many Americans are being spoon fed the Obama propaganda machine's side of the McChrystal controversy, there are some Americans who are hoping to find a silver lining to the end of a dedicated soldier's career.

"General McChrystal has acknowledged that the Rolling Stone article was a mistake, predicated on poor judgment, that never should have happened; and he has apologized accordingly. He also reiterated his steadfast commitment to continuing to strive to ensure victory in the Afghanistan theatre," noted Congressman Trent Franks (R-AZ) today.

"If the Obama Administration had chosen to do so, it could have easily laid the controversy to rest by issuing promptly a public acceptance of his apology as well as a private dressing down to those who made the inappropriate comments and who were involved in the decision to allow the interview in the first place. The fact is that the article, while inappropriate, was not grounds for dismissing the most critical leader in our war effort in Afghanistan and expert on counterinsurgency strategy, especially at this critical juncture of the war," he added.

Within hours of General Stanley McChrystal's ouster by President Barack Obama and his "national security team," the nation’s largest grassroots, pro-troop organization, is calling on discharged General McChrystal, formerly in command of the American forces in Afghanistan, to go public with the true extent of the Obama Administration’s disengagement with the war in Afghanistan.

As the Obama administration fumes over General Stanley McChrystal’s comments in the upcoming Rolling Stone article “Runaway General,” the pro-troop group, Move America Forward, is expressing shock that the President of the United States can be disinterested and uninformed on the war against Islamic terrorism in Afghanistan.

“Now that General McChrystal is no longer part of the military chain of command, he is free to expose the mismanagement of the war by the Obama administration, which is what got him in trouble in the first place.” said Move America Forward’s Director of Communications, Danny Gonzalez.

“The focus of news media reports has been on the poor judgment shown by McChrystal is his Rolling Stone article, but the real important issue to Americans is the conduct of the war to protect us against Islamic extremist. Our doubts and concerns about President Obama and his seeming lackluster approach to the war have been accentuated by the McChrystal revelations. We hope that he would do a great service to the American people by elaborating on the frustrations that ultimately led to his ouster.

Afghan political and military officials are reportedly saying that firing Gen. Stanley McChrystal will disrupt progress in the war and could jeopardize a pivotal security operation under way in Taliban strongholds in the south. Gen. McChrystal was summoned to Washington to explain disparaging comments published in Rolling Stone magazine that he and his top aides made about Obama's national security team..

In a conversation with President Barack Obama, Afghan President Hamid Karzai defended the American general as did other leaders, but to no avail. McChrystal was relieved of his command by the president.

"McChrystal's fate has been sealed by a thin-skinned Commander-in-Chief," said former detective and military intelligence officer Sid Franes.

"General McChrystal is indeed a military hero-- a noble leader and devoted patriot-- whose leadership came at an absolutely crucial juncture in our war against jihadist terrorism. He has served this country honorably and valiantly and I wish him every good thing in his future service and endeavors," said Rep. Franks.
