Update from PatriotUSA and the editor
It has been brought to my attention by the editor, AJ who is my erstwhile and faithful companion till all hours into the early morning working on Patriot's Corner, that I have been driving myself crazy and not taking care of myself as I should be. He will, at around 3:00 or sometimes 4:00 AM let me know it is long past time to quit and go to sleep. He does this by pulling on the cuffs of my pants or badering me in some other way to make sure I get the message. There is too much news and topics of interest for any one person to keep up with. Lord knows I and many fellow bloggers have tried to do so. So if you do not find it 'ALL' here, you never will. My focus is in certain areas and it will stay this way. That said, I do need to take better care of myself as I have other responsibilities and AJ is quite demanding about his walkies, playing with soccer balls and catching his numerous frisbees that litter our home. If the number of posts dips a bit, that is why. That will be the only reason. Living with a body battered by numerous orthopedic surgeries and procedures has left me with severe, chronic pain 24/7. I seldom complain or snivel, nor do I miss much work when I am able to find employment. There are many things I have I loved to do and have been forced to give up from so many procedures. This is where AJ has stepped in. Only in a way that man's truly best friend can. An emapth of the highest degree and training, he will not tolerate any threats to me, my family or his pleasures. Now, it is time close this update as AJ has his leash and collar in 'hand' and it is time for walkies #2, or is it 3? In case you have not figured out who AJ is, you will find his picture on the left hand sidebar.
Off to the canyon we go. Who is is walking who here? Hmm........

Nothing like a good dog--no friend quite as faithful. I sure AJ is your best friend and companion. I have a little furry friend also named Professor--a small shihshu. He's about 11 now and getting to be an old man like me, but he still gets he daily walks 2 or 3 and regular stays on the back deck. He has figured out who the boss is and guess what its not me!
