Tim Tebow ad has women's groups upset and are urging CBS to drop his ad during the Super Bowl.

Tim Tebow has never hidden his Christianity, nor apologized for it.
I completely stand by this young man and his mother. Tim Tebow
is young man of high morals, character and Integrity. The fact that
he is a strong Christian has always bothered some people and that
is too bad. This country needs more people like Tim Tebow, Men
and Women.  Islam slaughetrs women all over the world and where
are the feminists protesting the female genital mutilations, the
butchery savaged upon the female gender, from a very young age
up through the senior years of life.  Bravo to CBS for having the moxi
and courage to air something  that some may see a bit controversial.
I hope CBS stands it's ground and does not fold under the pressure
from the feminazis. Will Uncle Obama weigh in on this one? We all
know he is a baby killer from way back to his community activist
days in Chicago. His voting record on life or death for the unborn
speaks for itself.  There have been some pretty offensive ads aired
during past Super Bowls and I seriously doubt the Tebow's would
have anything to do with any commercial that is in poor taste or
borders on soft pornography, like so many commercials do today.

Fox Sports

A national coalition of women's groups called on CBS on Monday to scrap its plan to broadcast an ad during the Super Bowl featuring college football star Tim Tebow and his mother, which critics say is likely
to convey an anti-abortion message.

FOX SPORTS POLL Should CBS air the Tebow ad? 73% Yes 27%
This was as of 5:15 PM, West Coast time.

"An ad that uses sports to divide rather than to unite has no place in the biggest national sports event of the year -- an event designed to bring Americans together," said Jemhu Greene, president of the New York-based Women's Media Center.

The center was coordinating the protest with backing from the National Organization for Women, the Feminist Majority and other groups.

CBS said it has approved the script for the 30-second ad and has given no indication that the protest would have an impact. A network spokesman, Dana McClintock, said CBS would ensure that any issue-oriented ad was "appropriate for air."

The ad -- paid for by the conservative Christian group Focus on the Family -- is expected to recount the story of Pam Tebow's pregnancy in 1987 with a theme of "Celebrate Family, Celebrate Life." After getting sick during a mission trip to the Philippines, she ignored a recommendation by doctors to abort her fifth child and gave birth to Tim, who went on to win the 2007 Heisman Trophy while helping his Florida team to two BCS championships.

Why doesnt this womens group stop wasting time trying to get the Tebow commercial taken off T.V.,and make a commercial of there own, showing why abortion is a good idea? Oh, I guess that would be tough to do wouldnt it? Remember, pro choice means free to choose, and they choose to air that commercial.

Candice,
Thanks for visiting Patriot's Corner. Indeed, they could make
their own commercial and perhaps
to be 'fair' about this, CBS might
air their spot too. That would
take intelligence, common sense
and being calm about this. It is
much easier to be nasty whiners
and raise a huge stink. Gets the
feminazis more press in the MSM.
We know who like in this spat.
Again, kudos and a cold one to
CBS for doing this. Stand your
ground CBS! They can choose not
to watch the game or support CBS
if they want to. Pathetic losers.
