Black on Black violence coming to South Africa?

As South Africa shines under the glow and glimmer of the World Cup, all is not well in this country. There is no doubt that violence will once again ripple throughout South Africa but more a matter of when. I do not think it will limited to violence on just whites or blacks. It will be both ways and could quite possibly be much worse than what South Africa has witnessed in the last few years. From Jan who does Africancrisis and Americancrisis.

S.Africa: 2010: FIFA World cup - The Undertone of violence & a coming Black on Black Civil war afterwards...
By Jan Lamprecht

[These stories are spreading out everywhere. There is stacks of evidence with regard to this.
Special note: It appears as if nobody was prosecuted for xenophobia in 2008. That again tells me the ANC's hand is behind this. Jan]

Johannesburg — South Africa is hosting the continent's first soccer World Cup but the mounting anticipation is not drowning out a vicious whispering campaign calling for the expulsion of foreign nationals within hours of the curtain going down on football's biggest jamboree.

The local media has been awash with anecdotal stories of conspiracies brewing at taxi ranks, shebeens and markets to bring a pogrom against foreign African nationals, who are blamed for taking! jobs and diverting government services, while NGOs concerned with the plight of refugees and migrants are becoming more worried as 12 July - the day after the final game - draws near.

Jacob Dlamini, a columnist for Business Day, a local newspaper, recounted an incident in Katlehong, the Johannesburg township where he grew-up, in a 27 May article. "I overheard three local women taunting a Mozambican man: 'Make sure you are packed and ready to go by July 12', they said. 'But you know some of your sisters will starve if I am expelled from here', he answered. 'We don't care', said the women."

South African protesters chant slogans

Xenophobia, a constant companion of post-apartheid Sou! th Africa, found its most deadly expression in May 2008 after ! an incid ent in the Johannesburg township of Alexandra ignited violence against foreigners across the country, resulting in scores of deaths and the displacement of more than 100,000 people.

Afterwards, early warning systems were set up to ensure a quick response to xenophobic violence, but Jacques Kamanda, general secretary of the Coordinating Body of Refugee Communities, told IRIN these were not functioning.

Since 2008, "no-one has been convicted for the attacks", he said, and a city councillor from the ruling African National Congress, on trial in the port city of Durban for allegedly leading a mob that forced two men - one from Zimbabwe and the other from Tanzania - to jump to their deaths from a block of flats, "is still a free man". A third man survived the fall.

Kamanda, originally from the war torn Democratic Republic of Congo, said the government should take a stand against xenophobia. "We need the [South African] government to stand up and say who we ar! e and why we are here, but they say nothing."

There were widespread "reports by foreign nationals around the country that they are being threatened with violence after the World Cup", the Consortium for Refugees and Migrants in South Africa (CORMSA) said in a statement issued on 11 May to commemorate the second anniversary of the 2008 xenophobic attacks.

"These threats are coming from many different people: neighbours, colleagues, taxi-drivers, passers-by on the street, but also from nurses, social workers and police officers. Worrying, too, is that some of those making the threats believe that they have the support of senior political leaders," the statement said.

Duncan Breen, an advocacy officer for CORMSA, told IRIN that on the one hand speculation of an outbreak of xenophobia risked becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy, while on the other it was "irresponsible not to alert people to the possibility, so no one can say they did not see it coming".
!
However, he said South Africa had a history of conspiracie! s that h ad not led to action, like the one that when former President Nelson Mandela left office, "whites would die like flies".

A recent survey of 6,636 participants on the quality of life in Gauteng, the country's richest province, by the Gauteng City Region Observatory (GCRO), a provincial government think-tank, in partnership with two of Johannesburg's universities, found that the xenophobic streak running through South African society was not confined to poor and marginalised communities.

Prof  David Everatt, the GCRO's executive director, told local media that 73 percent of the participants with tertiary education thought "foreigners are taking benefits meant for South Africans", while three-quarters of those without tertiary education believed this was an accurate assessment. Everatt commented: "If the attitudes of xenophobia remain ... we have a problem."

Nelson Mandela and his silence on Mugabe and he supports Julius Malema

Everyone has heard how wonderful Nelson Mandela is, was and the great things he accopmplished. As there is always another side to every person, every story, Mandela is no different. This post comes from AfricanCrisis and I am very glad to be able to post Jan's articles. I have received some rather nasty comments about the previous run of posts about Zimbabwe, South African and Southern Africa. To those people who send those nasty comments I say this: Too bad! I will not stop posting and sharing from AfricanCrisis or AmericanCrisis. The truth can be very painful and we in the West must know that there is another side and story to Southern Africa. I have NEVER been afraid to read and learn the truth about my own country, no matter how unpleasant it has been at times. NO country is perfect. If you do not like what is posted here, do not read them and stay out of Patriot's Corner. I am using our one computer as the other is in the shop so please bear with me as posts will be on the light side for a few more days. I am also on the third level of interviews for two different jobs and will be doing that the remainder of this week. Quite stressful but just part of life. Thanks for your patience.

S.Africa: Nelson Mandela supports Julius Malema & supports: KILL THE BOER. Why was Mandela silent on Mugabe & Matabele Genocide?
By Jan

AfricanCrisis; I spotted in an article by Adriana Stuijt, that there was mention of banners that had been "approved" for the Boer Genocide protests in London. One of those banners asked: Where is Nelson Mandela? Why is he so silent?

Well... you can ask yourself this question about Nelson Mandela on many issues.

For example:
o Do you know of any time when Nelson Mandela spoke out against the Matabele Genocide wherein Mugabe killed 30,000 people in Zimbabwe in the 1980s? I don't recall ever hearing Mandela speak out on that.

o Have you ever heard Mandela speaking out against Mugabe's brutality in Zimbabwe? I don't recall that.

o And where is this great reconciliator when it! comes to Julius Malema? Where is Nelson Mandela telling Julius Malema to shut up? Where is Mandela to tell Malema to stop singing, "Kill the Boer" or telling Zuma, "Stop singing bring my machinegun?" I see him nowhere.

Actually, I know where Mandela is. Mandela endorses President Jacob Zuma. And Julius Malema is President Zuma's agent. So the answer is real simple: Nelson Mandela SUPPORTS JULIUS MALEMA. NELSON MANDELA SUPPORTS: KILL THE BOER.

I wrote about that a while back, and presented you with the photos. See: [Pics] USA: How the CIA defeated Apartheid & the bizarre story of how Nelson Mandela endorsed racial hatred and white genocide by President Jacob Zuma

Oh, and take a look at this from long ago: [6 Pics Video] Nelson Mandela: The Songs They Sing about Killing Whites

Nelson Mandela's silence, like the silence of so many... SPEAKS VOLUMES! By his silence, we know exactly whe re he stands.

Exclusive report from South Africa: Race war tensions threanten to ignite a new wave of butchery in Southern Africa

This is the first of many posts you will be seeing here on Southern Africa/Africa. We all know about the horrors of the colonial system, apartheid and the horrific massacres and bloodshed that were waged on both sides. This first post is about a very recent letter in regard to "Kill the Boers" and has been allowed to be perpetuated and encouraged by many who hate whites, for any reason. There have been new killings and to honest with you, some of the farmers, ranchers that have been killed, run off, whatever deserved to be prosecuted for crimes or ill treatment of black workers they had hired. I want to make one thing perfectly clear: NO ONE deserves to be butchered, carved up with a machete, shot multiple times after being tortured, their residences ransacked, and watch their family members get raped and then killed, be they black or white. Let us not forget that are many and were many farmers and ranchers that treated their workers very well, including their families. There are two sides to every story and all I am doing is help tell the other side. We do not hear much about this from our socialist leaning MSM. I urge you to visit the following sites to learn more yourself: African Crisis and American Crisis. These are run by a fellow from South Africa who has put a tremendous amount of time and effort into these sites. I have also added them to the blogroll on this blog. Look near the top of the blogroll. One can draw parallels to what is going on in our southern border states. Does the murder of rancher Robert Krentz seem very similar? It does to me, and yes there are marked differences but the parallels remain.

A reminder here about who is behind most of this violence, unrest in much Southern Africa; Robert Mugabe and the Marxists. This person is one of the most despicable, vile, ruthless, Marxists in the world. What he has done since he became 'president' is nothing short of what one might see in a nasty blood and guts horror movie. Except this is real life. He has prospered at a huge cost to his country and the people who live there, be they black or white. Mugabe needs to go and he has resisted every move to oust or remove him from power. One only needs to look at the last election to see that this person will do whatever it takes to remain in power. There is a lot to learn and if you do not think there are similarities with what is going on with radical Islam, you are wrong. This is way past an issue of black or white. It is about issues and events that are promoting and leading to more violence and bloodshed. To what scale remains to be seen. I have published the majority of the letter here. It is a bit long but please, educate yourselves and read. It will fit right in with what will be next coming later today or tonight.

Kill The Boers: Race War tensions - Afrikaners to confront Govt over race hate speech; farm attacks/murders

S.Africa: EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Transvaal Agricultural Union - Open Letter to President Zuma re: Kill the Boer - Ongoing Farm Murders - Expose Govt lies - Request meeting with President Zuma

I can't tell you how excited I am about this letter.

I did tell you some time ago that certain Afrikaner leaders intend speaking directly to President Jacob Zuma about the terrible events of recent months. These are people who do have direct contact with Government ministers in their course of duty, even though those Govt ministers treat them like dirt at times.

This is a most important newsletter sent out by TAU which is one of the biggest Agricultural Unions in South Africa. PLEASE SPREAD THIS AROUND. THIS IS CRUCIAL. Please spread this to Governments, to Embassies, to Newspaper Editors. This is a direct result of the behaviour of Julius Malema, head of the ANC Youth League (which the ANC dawdling over disciplining for his HATE SPEECH to whites and for his ongoing incitement to murder farmers). Thanks to Julius Malema's actions, Eugene Terreblanche was murdered - just another murder in a farming community which has already had over 3,000 people killed since 1994.

The short Afrikaans introduction merely says that the "attached letter" (in English) was sent to President Zuma yesterday and is now being made public.

As a note: If any other organisations write letters to President Jacob Zuma or the government, I would like copies of them. I want to publish them all. The things which occured in this month are VERY SERIOUS. The secret preparations for bringing violence, murder and illegal land seizures to South Africa's farmers is completely unacceptable. See this incredible expose by the ZimbabweMail before the murder of Eugene Terreblanche who was no doubt the first casualty in this violence which was plotted by President Zuma, President Mugabe and Julius Malema. The worthless South African Mass Media of course published nothing. Thank God for the Zimbabweans who had their eyes open and did some real investigative journalism. See: VERY IMPORTANT: WAR! ZimbabweMail warned S.Africa before Eugene Terreblanche was ASSASSINATED of Mugabe-style Land Grab & Race War White Genocide after 2010 FIFA World Cup

I have taken my own discretion to highlight certain parts of the letter to Zuma. Read it. You will see the rotten way the South African Government treats the commercial farmers in this country. You will see the lies and the despicable way the farmers are treated - its even worse than most of us realised.

I know some of the background behind this letter. This letter was not written lightly. A lot of senior Afrikaner leaders were consulted on this. This is a serious document and these leaders are not taking any more of this "Kill the Boer" and farm murders lightly.

I am going to beg all of you to please DO YOUR BIT. Spread this around by email - around the world - to other people, to newspapers, to Embassies, to Governments. To our friends who stood up for us in Sweden and Russia and everywhere else where people are willing to stand up for the ongoing murder and persecution and destruction of our farmers. Jan

OPEN LETTER TO PRES ZUMA / OPE BRIEF AAN PRES. ZUMA

The attached letter has been sent to pres. Zuma and is hereby made public.

The President
Republic of South Africa
The Presidency
Pretoria

Dear Mr. Zuma,

REQUEST FOR CONSTRUCTIVE MEETING ABOUT THE-UNDERMENTIONED KEYPOINTS

Every government is subject to two cardinal guidelines:

+ The Constitution of the country

+ The Social Contract which the government guarantees before and during elections.

In exchange, the country’s citizens are dependent upon and accept the integrity of the government of the land. Citizens pay taxes so that effect can be made of the Constitution’s demands, which the government is compelled to undertake. The Social Contract must also be effected by ensuring that citizens live in security and without fear, that proper infrastructure is provided and that educational and medical needs are rendered.

TAU SA has bent over backwards – sometimes in the face of pressure from its members – to encourage productive discussions with the government with regard to problems and perspectives, and TAU SA has tried to do this in a positive and supportive manner with the government. In most cases, promises and undertakings have been made which, over the passage of time, have come to nothing.

At present the situation in the land is extremely charged as a result of tension that has been created – farmers are especially in the proverbial cross hairs and their situation is now untenable. This will automatically place the country’s food security in a serious and hazardous position.

As a result certain matters can no longer be ignored and, for the sake of food security and good neighbourliness, urgent discussions must now take place where clear cut answers must be supplied with regard to the following charges which TAU SA lays before the President of the country, his cabinet and the governing party:

+ There is bad faith, because matters are twisted to suit ideological standpoints, such as the fact that the song “Skiet die Boere, Kill the Boer” doesn’t really mean that the farmers must be shot and killed!

+ Neglecting to take action against those who cause unrest. How long must the country’s head of state wait before his remarks that these inflammatory mischief makers will be charged, bear results? Nothing has been done and this has resulted in even more incitement from the rabble rousers.

+ The unreliability and insensitivity of ministers with whom appointments are made on important matters and who, at the very last moment, cancel the appointment. Farmers are also busy people with busy schedules, and the impression is given that the farmers’ standpoints are not really very important. Everything else is more important than a meeting with a farmer or an agricultural organization.

+ Broken promises – for example, the commando system was abolished with a promise of a substitute agricultural security structure. Sector policing that was put forward as a replacement, failed, and farmers are still being attacked, murdered, injured and burgled.

+ The exaggerated pursuit of quotas. A survey by Solidarity revealed that in some government departments, the Affirmative Action quotas have actually been exceeded. Does this mean that the land reform quota of handing over 30% of land to black owners until 2014 will also be exceeded?

+ Reckless statements by ministers.

+ TAU SA demands that every minister who declares that farm workers are illegally evicted from farms must prove this with facts such as the names of the persons, the dates, the time and the place, and also provide the case number where this illegality has been reported and investigated, and they must give the results of this investigation.

+ Any minister who declares that farm workers have been badly treated must also provide the necessary details as mentioned above.

+ Any minister who declares that squatter camps exist because farmers have dismissed their workers must provide the necessary statistics about the nationality of the squatters, given that it is well known that because of pathetic border control, these camps are so full of foreigners that even English is not spoken or understood.

+ The waste of public funds on failing or failed projects such as the land reform project where more than 80% have failed, at great cost to the taxpayers. Food security is now at risk.

+ With regard to this, TAU SA has had no reply to a very simple question: what is the percentage ground which the government has marked out for land reform –
30% of the total land of South Africa or 30% of agricultural land?

+ TAU SA is on record that the murder of farmers is nothing more than ethnic cleansing. Your silence on this can be seen as an acknowledgement of this fact.

+ The lack of political determination to uphold the integrity of the country’s infrastructure.

+ Farmers experience increasing problems in getting their products to market as a result of the terrible state of the country’s roads, while they pay for licences and are burdened with petrol price increases. Farmers receive very little in return for their payments, especially with regard to the maintenance of roads and the most basic of services.

+ The collapse of water purification installations has resulted in the pollution of rivers and underground water sources, which makes these sources unusable for farming. Farmers suffer losses, and less food is produced as a result of government neglect in this regard.

+ The government’s neglect to give attention to the security of the country is bordering on the transgression of human rights.

+ The commandos have been withdrawn, so farmers are left on their own to defend themselves.

+ The citizenry as well as the farmers are intimidated into handing in their firearms while hardened criminals with illegal firearms have made the land unsafe and in places, ungovernable.

+ When farmers make application for a new firearm licence, it takes sometimes months to obtain this licence, which means that while waiting for the licence, the farmer is without self protection.

+ Farmers who were given the green light to create their own self-protection structures are now becoming targets for prosecution, while they should be regarded as people who are trying to uphold the law as supporters of safety and security.

+ The government is in cahoots with organized trade unions against the farmers via making labour legislation difficult to uphold and, in some cases, making it impossible to sustain. To listen in to Parliament where ridiculous statements such as the farmers are themselves responsible for the lack of safety on farms, and that they steal their own stock, makes one ask: is it possible that this verbal rubbish can come out of the country’s highest body?

+ The government’s indiscriminate and uncritical support for its alliance partner COSATU’s loud and ungrounded statements about the living standards of farm workers on farms.

+ The government and COSATU’s focus on farm dwellers rather than farm workers. The farmer as an employer has no contract whatsoever with others who stay on the farms whether as sojourners under particular legislation, or as family members, or whatever.

+ The fact that the agricultural sector is made an exception as the only one in the total economy of South Africa. The land owner is expected to have a 24/7 obligation to his workers, over and above the fact that legislation already obliges the farmer to further and further relinquish his property to fulfill abode legislation with regard to his workers.

THESE MATTERS CAN NO LONGER BE IGNORED.

The farmers of South Africa will do whatever they must do to farm and to provide food for everyone in the country and even in the region. Indeed, they will farm so that you, Mr. President, can enjoy your daily meals. But the above-mentioned matters are making it difficult for the farmer to farm. Indeed, it is becoming impossible. The farmers and the citizens of this land can no longer afford this government.

Their loyalty is being stretched to the limit, and their patience as well. And what TAU SA experiences is indifference from the government, even enmity.

Therefore we request an appointment with you, and all relevant ministers, and we await your reply within 14 days from date of this letter.

Yours sincerely,

Ben Marais,
President
TAU SA
