Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff is a brave lady in Austria I highlighted last week. She is now a guest speaker at the Freedom Defense Initiative. If I lived on the East coast I would somehow be attending this great event. Below is the entire post from Atlas Shrugs as this is too important not to give coverage to. Our inaugural event for FDI is fast approaching, February 19th -- and if you haven't registered or made it your business to get your infidel ass to CPAC for this totally non-CPAC event, then you are still hopeless.

The infiltration is so vast and so deep, that CPAC, the Conservatives' largest gathering in America, does not address jihad. Last year I had to bring Wilders there on my dime (with the help of Spencer, Horowitz, Bostom and his mom).

This year after Obama, it's worse. There is actually a panel called "You've Been Lied To: Why Real Conservatives are Against the War On Terror," and that's it.

Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff is an Austrian human rights and anti-jihad activist. A diplomat’s daughter, she was a child in Iran during the Islamic Revolution of 1979, and later lived in Iraq, Kuwait and Libya. During the 1990 invasion of Kuwait by Iraq, she was among the Austrian citizens who were kidnapped and held hostage. Today, Sabaditsch-Wolff is an international representative of the Citizens’ Movement Pax Europa.

Her extensive knowledge about Islam and the political implications of Islamic doctrine earned her an invitation to teach the Austrian political party FPÖ about the nature, structure and strategies the West faces from Islam.

An unprepared reporter from the Austrian magazine “News” attended the seminar, and was so frightened by what she heard that she wrote a major reportage about 'political hate speech' at the seminar, and reported Elisabeth to the Austrian authorities for the crime of 'hate speech', quoting statements from the seminar.

Late in 2009 she was charged with “hate speech” under Austrian law for statements she made during a seminar on Islam. It was another attempt to silence by brute force those who speak out accurately about the global jihad and Islamic supremacism. Sabaditsch-Wolff explained: “I want to preserve Europe and its democratic and secular values. Islamic doctrine discriminates against women and non-Muslims. Islamic law, or shariah, cannot be reconciled with democratic principles and universal human rights.”

Sabaditsch-Wolff added: “There are powerful groups who are working towards the Islamization of Europe. That is a fact. What can we gain from closing our eyes and ignoring this? Even Libyan leader Muammar Ghadafi says: ‘There are signs that Allah will grant victory to Islam in Europe without swords, without guns, without conquest. We don’t need terrorists, we don’t need homicide bombers. The 50+ million Muslims [in Europe] will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades.’ A head of state confirms what our politicians deny. What else has to happen until we finally get it?”

Noting that she is being prosecuted for statements about Muhammad’s marriage to a nine-year-old when he was in his fifties, and Muhammad’s exemplary status for Muslim men even in this, Sabaditsch-Wolff emphasized: “In every Islamic system you find that human rights of young girls are in grave danger. Look at Saudi Arabia. Look at the former socialist South Yemen. When Khomeini came to power he lowered the minimum age for girls to get married to nine years.” Non-Muslims fare no better: “The Islamic world leads in discrimination against religious minorities. Christians are persecuted and discriminated against in all Islamic countries. You have to remember that the Christian culture is not one that immigrated or is foreign; it is indigenous. There is a complete ban on building churches in Turkey. And now Erdogan speaks of discrimination against Muslims in Switzerland? Where are Muslims being discriminated against in Switzerland? The European elite allows the Islamic countries to walk all over themselves while bowing down to them.”

“I am a mother and a feminist,” says Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff. “I want my daughter and my niece to grow up in freedom and dignity. I want the same for all Austrian citizens, and that includes Austrian Muslims.”


While the case against the Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders is higher profile, Elisabeth's case is of the same fundamental nature: it is a battle between fear and superstition on the one hand, and rationality and open debate between free citizens on the other.

I am proud and excited to announce the formation of a new organization, FREEDOM DEFENSE INITIATIVE (FDI). Robert Spencer and I have joined forces to create a proactive, in your face organization that will get things done.


This has been in my mind for some time, and while it took longer than I would have liked, we are kicking off with a bang.

Our first event will be at CPAC (not of it). I find it most distressing that the largest gathering of conservatives in America does nothing to address the single greatest threat to our national security, our Constitution, our very way of life...... Our event, on the other hand, will feature the first public appearance of the Steve Coughlin: Former Pentagon Islam specialist, fired after pressure from Islamic infiltrators (1st public appearance). Also speaking will be Wafa Sultan: Author, A God who Hates, viral video star of Al-Jazeera debate with Islamic cleric, Simon Deng: Ex-slave, leading human rights activist against jihad in Sudan Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff: facing "hate speech" charges in Austria for telling the truth about Islam, Lt Colonel Allen West: War hero, Congressional candidate (FL 22nd district), future national leader, Robert Spencer and myself.

The Freedom Defense Initiative (FDI)

The Freedom Defense Initiative is a new organization launched by Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer. Our objective is to go on the offensive when legal, academic, legislative, cultural, sociological, and political actions are taken to dismantle our basic freedoms and values.

FDI acts against the treason being committed by national, state, and local government officials, the mainstream media, and others in their capitulation to the global jihad and Islamic supremacism, the ever-encroaching and unconstitutional power of the federal government, and the rapidly moving attempts to impose socialism and Marxism upon the American people.

It acts against these evils by:

• Organizing grass root small groups at the local level to fight specific Islamic supremacist initiatives in American cities – e.g., the November 2009 Rally for Rifqa Bary in Columbus, Ohio, which called attention to the dangers apostates from Islam live under, and to the threats to religious freedom that are advancing in the U.S. right now

• Sponsoring anti-jihad bus and billboard campaigns to counter CAIR’s pro-Islamic bus and billboard campaigns

• Organizing counter protests to anti-Israel, anti-Zionism demonstrations • Touring the country on Freedom of Speech in the Age of Jihad tours – bringing the best, clearest voices to national attention

• Building strategic alliances with activist groups in Europe and Israel to engage in open and stealthy counter jihad measures

• Raise awareness of the depredations of Islamic supremacism not just through articles and conferences, but through activist initiatives – e.g., the effort to supply a memorial for honor killing victim Aqsa Parvez, whose body lay in an unmarked grave. This initiative resulted in memorials being constructed for Aqsa in Canada and Israel, and heightened awareness in the West of the horror of Islamic honor killing

• Supporting Geert Wilders and others who are fighting attacks on free speech by the Leftist/Islamic alliance

• Promoting candidates who understand state’s rights and the necessity to limit the power of the federal government [as legal status permits]

• Promoting candidates who fight against the march of Islamic supremacists [as legal status permits]

• Calling attention to specific acts of capitulation and collaboration to Islamic supremacism by government and law enforcement officials, and pressing for the reprimand and removal of those officials; • Targeting infiltrators of our federal agencies and seeking their removal • Articulating and defending a firm Constitutional basis for genuine limitations on the federal government and the rights of the individual states

• Defending the value of private ownership and firmly opposing the nationalization of U.S. industries

• Defending the rights of the private citizen and opposing everything that increases his status of serfdom to the state.

To achieve these ends the Freedom Defense Initiative will:

• Act through the existing Atlas Shrugs and Jihad Watch websites (which had a combined 22 million page views in the last twelve months) to raise awareness of pertinent issues, using our base (Jihad Watch 30,000 page views per day, Atlas 25,000 page views per day, combined page views two million per month) to build a movement; • Create state organizations that address these issues on a local level (Atlas and Jihad Watch readers will likely head up sub-organizations in each state identifying local issues, targeting specific situations, and developing action plans to fight on the local level);

• Issue Action Alerts through the not inconsiderable reach of Jihad Watch and Atlas Shrugs, calling people to take a specific action -- whether it be to contact their representatives, write against a nominee (i.e., Harold Koh), attend a hearing, call a rally, etc. • Conduct live coverage of key political, social, and historic events (i.e., the Republican National Convention, and important local, state, and national elections) • Hold seminars featuring as speakers key defenders of freedom;

• Host conferences that educate Americans about Leftist indoctrination and Islam’s quest for domination;

• Host rallies to demonstrate the awareness and power of the American citizen; • Publish books that support our objectives;

• Act through all possible means to create a large-scale resistance to the forces that are moving rapidly to destroy American Constitutionalism and capitalism.

• Turn readers into effective activists who build their own networks in their communities. They either run or put up candidates to run in school boards, precincts, to get back that what was squandered. All politics is local -- and that’s where we must start.
