"In those days , Stalin’s most effective way to slander people was to accuse them of being pro-Nazi— a treasonous offense in World War II."

"Stalin undoubtedly wanted Mindszenty arrested, framed, and “neutralized”— not necessarily killed, because that would make international waves, but removed from the scene for life, perhaps so physically mistreated and mentally addled that he would never again be able to challenge the communist rulers. Since the war, the Soviets’ tried-and-true method had been wherever possible to slander their enemies as having been pro-Nazi."

"During the Stalin era, more than 7 million “uncooperative” Soviet citizens were marked for demotion, framed as Zionist spies or Nazi collaborators, and executed or sent to gulags."

The standard Soviet ad hominem technique of labelling someone as "far right" is employed all the time in the media today. Every time Geert Wilders is mentioned by the BBC he is described as a "far right" politician, never just as a politician. Whenever Tommy Robinson is mentioned he is described as the leader of the "far right" EDL, never just as the leader of the English Defence League.
The people in the media who use these labels never explain what they mean by them. That's to be expected, because they're not trying to say anything meaningful or to describe the political beliefs of anyone. They're using the term exactly as the Soviets did, to discredit and thereby silence any and all who do not agree with the State-approved, politically correct Weltanschauung.
Tommy Robinson has been attacked by the press, the police and politicians using the Soviets' ad hominem technique ever since he became leader of the English Defence League. He has been given several Osman warnings by the British police, who acknowledge that his life was in danger at the hands of "offended" Muslims. He has narrowly escaped being blown to bits by Islamic terrorists. And while the British government is on record as doing everything in its power to give up control of Britain's borders, they jailed Robinson after he used someone else's passport to fly to America for a weekend.
The final straw appears to have been when Robinson, a British citizen, was arrested recently for walking in London. The BBC reported this by saying that Robinson had been charged with obstructing police officers near the scene of the killing of soldier Lee Rigby. This is just one example of the appalling bias from the BBC, an organisation which is funded by the taxpayer and which harboured the serial paedophile Jimmy Saville, who was "officially one of Britain's worst sex offenders", for many years.
It's not too surprising that Robinson, a working class bloke with finite resources, has finally succumbed to the pressures applied to him by the British State and their lackeys in the mainstream media. And it's not surprising that after he buckled under that pressure, he was guided towards denouncing the EDL at a press conference arranged by the Quilliam Foundation.
Even the strongest characters can succumb if enough pressure is put upon them. Fans of The Sopranos will remember that after the government decided that it was all over for Johnny Sack, they banged him up then laid out the only deal he was going to get. And made sure that he understood just what he had to do to hold up his end. That's the way these things work.
