Charlie Reese is wrong. Was Eric Holder right?

 suffer the children
Charlie Reese (h/t Battlefield USAStill Think This Is Funny?) is wrong though he makes a really good case that "only 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country."

There are 227 million (I left the 73 million under 18’s out) human beings who are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

227 million people allowed our country to get where it is today by their/our inattention to what the 545 were doing.  It’s as simple as that.  The buck stops here, with the American people, nowhere else, and until we understand that, there is no possibility of a cure for the cancer eating at this nation on every front.

Charlie Reese was addressing the domestic.  Our foreign problems?  The numbers remain the same.

Out of fear, weakness, sloth, fatigue (YOU define) 227 million people – those we proudly call WE, THE PEOPLE – have become WE, THE ENABLERS.  Our voices are all but irrelevant.  With our silence and our dollars, we are supporting THIS man (GRAPHIC) in Syria, THIS future, THIS degradation, THIS continued erosion of our privacy.

It is always easier to blame someone else.  It is especially easy to blame a politician, and that is exactly what they (laughing at us once again) want us to do.  Because if we looked the truth in the mirror, some portion, maybe a large portion of that 227 million just might decide we have to do something about it now, not in 2016 when it will be too late.

Was Eric Holder right?  Are we a nation of cowards?  Are WE, THE PEOPLE, any longer capable, more importantly willing to make this kind of statement?

Zenster, I can't agree with you n this one. While it might be true that the American people as a Whole are responsible for the current Condition, they operate under the social compact that they will not do violence until certain conditions are met. Even though shooting the bastards seems inevitable, you can't just let any person stop the Government for making a decision that they don't agree with. In this case the American people have slowly gotten angrier and angrier.

Boiling is coming, but it takes a lot of energy to heat a swimming pool to boil.

We miss you over at SBPDL!

I do hope the US Military is watching and taking notes.

America's uneducated electorate—in combination with its uneducated consumers—are this nation's two biggest problems. Even worse is how often both traits manifest in the same voting-age individual.

First off, welcome 10mm AUTO. Your regular input would be of great value at this blog. With that in mind, I'm obliged to point out that Andrea is the author of this post and not myself.

That said, you are absolutely right about how the American people are inherently prone to avoiding violence in the daily management of this nation's government. Few other countries in the world have seen the reins of power transferred so frequently without bloodshed and that is a remarkable achievement in and of itself.

There is also the element of moral and ethical corruption which has become endemic within American government to a heretofore unprecedented extent. This toxic level of official parasitism has managed to ally itself—at great cost to the working class—with a habitually unemployable underclass that now deems itself entitled to government largess at the public's expense.

Equally sad is how partisan inertia still polarizes voting to the detriment of any viable independent candidates. All of this is interconnecting to create a sociopolitical monster that threatens any stability this Union once enjoyed.

I am beginning to think that the European nations got at least one thing right. With their several political parties, a much greater degree of coalition consensus must be obtained for legislation to be passed. America's bipartisan system has become a one party system of the almighty dollar, much to the detriment of this nation's quality of life. No better example of this exists than the astoundingly flaccid and wholly conflicting interests exhibited by both parties with respect to reforming immigration policy.

The rights accorded illegal aliens and this nation's continued importation of Muslims are both indicative of, not just a profound failure in judgement, but a fundamental rejection of the people's will by its own elected officials. What was once the world's beacon of Democracy has succumbed to charismatic leadership instead of—the only true form of such executive ability—leadership by example.

This obsession with charisma has seen our elections mutate into political beauty contests—trumpeted with gusto by the media—instead of a search for genuine excellence. It is the triumph of style over substance, much as we see today in art, entertainment and the commercial marketplace.

Until America's Conservative bloc can free itself from the shackles of Politically Correct thought and start voting its conscience, there will be little positive change. Mitt Romney exemplified all that is wrong with the GOP and the Right's continued allegiance to this band of traitors is symptomatic of the polarized politics that continue to mire this country in Socialist manure.

For your kind words, you deserve some sort of explanation. Paul Kersey not only conned me financially for a lot of dedicated effort at supporting his own publishing, but also—with any expanation—stopped posting the subsequent parts to my "The Dis-Integration of America" series.

However reluctant I was to stop participating at SBPDL, it was difficult to continue supporting the popularity of such a burn artist.

Please consider contributing here more often. I'm also confident that your pieces on firearms and the militarization of America's law enforcement would be more than a little welcome by this site's owner. You have my sincere endorsement as a contributor and I hope you will start doing so soon.

Greeting from the nether regions of a small slice of sanity, common sense, moralS AND AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM that live and breathe here on this site. Not a big site by any means but the truth lives here.

GEORGE ZIMMERMAN should walk free!!

I am the owner of this site which has been around since 2008 and must agree 100% with Zenster and his invite to you. You are most welcome here and I would immensely enjoy, share any articles of yours about on firearms and the militarization of America's law enforcement. I am a gun owner and fierce advocate of gun owners rights and hate the anti gun lobby, loathe Oabama, libtards, environazis, well you get the picture.

There are other contributors here as I invite folks who can be trusted and are like minded. I gave up trying to do this alone and am consumed with a chaotic life and a body that has been referred to as "an orthopedic wrecking yard" by my back surgeon. So yes, I would LOVE any feeds to post about guns or other related topics as mentioned by Zenster.

I personally made sure Zenster's "The Dis-Integration of America" series was welcome here as are all of his articles.

We take no prisoners nor do we give any quarter here on da' Corner. I have been scarce of late from here as I am trying to get a small fan restoration business up and running and deal with severe, chronic pain 24/7 but I am not a sniveler and this is a no whining zone.

Screw the GOP of today.(Sorry Ozark Guru, very disgusted with national GOP.)

Constitutional Conservative, absolutely.

I am sorta fond of .38 Super myself.

PLEASE consider offering up articles here. Hope you see this comment and will respond in kind.

Thank you for stopping by!!
