Islam is deadly threat to all our freedoms-Lars Hedegaard and Kurt Westergaard

"We [the International Free Press Society] have made no bones about the fact that we consider Islam — as it is presently being preached by all influential clerics and ideologues — a deadly threat to all our freedoms among which are freedom of expression. For this consistent stance we have been vilified and called every name in the book, but we will not budge. I’m aware that some of my friends think that Islam can be reformed, domesticated, and civilized. I welcome that day, but must relate to the fact that it hasn’t happened yet — though Muslims have had 1,400 years to complete the project." Lars Hedegaard

Those who make up the counterjihad movement are very aware that freedom of speech, freedom of expression are under attack from all sides. One of the worst offenders of attacking freedom of speech are those who follow the death cult of Islam. Islam is not a religion but a perverted political ideology that wants to control the world's population under a global Islamic caliphate, governed by Islamic sharia law. Any and all freedom of individual thought or actions by the individual are not tolerated under Islam, governed by sharia law or the greater evil that is Islam.

"True Islam mandates conformity to a strict social construct that places Arab culture and its Islamic traditions above all things. To a genuine Muslim there is no higher truth than found in the Koran. God’s gift of free will is a falsehood and all things happen through the will of Allah. Islam is the antithesis of religion and spirituality. It does not exist to lead men to God only to perpetuate the growth and dominance of its culture. Islam is a fabricated religion designed by a man committed to world conquest. Unlike Christianity, there is no social benefit or charity for non-believers, Islam exists for the benefit of Muslims and Islam only.

In contrast to all other world religions, Islamic prayer allows no spiritual openness, no intimate or personal contact with God. It is purely a communal ritual designed to breed conformity of thought and action. Worship or the expressing of love and awe is not necessary in the Islamic culture, only obedience and submission." Recently there was an attack on Lars Hedegaard that easily could have taken his life. Hedegaard defended himself and then the attacker ran away.Of course the attacker was a 'culturally enriched' (thanks to Baron Bodissey for that term!) arab looking man and my guess he is probably an immigrant into Denmark. This attack was barely reported by the LSM tools and water carrying Islamosympathizers here in the USA and that includes the likes of so called 'conservative news sites like Fox News or The Blaze.

Here is Michael Coren's interview with Lars Hedegaard that Sun News posted up:

The attack on Mr. Hedegaard immediately brought into focus another brave man who has been attacked for his now very famous drawings about Mohammed, Kurt Westergaard.

I have been reading an excellent autobiography about Kurt Westergaard, written by John Lykkegaard.

I purchased a copy last year before the book had been released and I am very pleased with the insight the book provides into Westergaard's life and how he was raised in Denmark. The book has a few tiny rough spots due to translation but these are very minor. The education Westergaard received came at a time when the old 'conservative ways of teaching' were being swept away and replaced by 'modern liberal teachings' that often bordered on communism and at the very least, socialism. Mr Westergaard was quite caught up in the transformation that was taking place in education as he was a teacher for many years before he decided to pursue his life long love of drawing and painting. Westergaard, I would I think be in the middle of the danish political spectrum, a bit more left of center and I could be wrong on this, just my opinion from reading this book about him. What is crystal clear to me is that Kurt Westergaard is NOT some far right nut case who would be a racist, bigoted, very narrow minded, closed off and he most certainly does not hate Muslims or Islam. He drew his now very famous Mohammed cartoons in reaction to how Islam and many Muslims attacked any other true religions, minorities, infidels, kuffars (us!) and how Islam and Muslims always seemed to get away with this. Anyone who criticized Islam or made fun of, mocked the prophet Mohammed in any way shape or form could count on getting attacked, possible fatwas issued against them and killed. Theo Van Gogh comes to mind straight away for me.

In our world of political correctness, excessive diversity and multiculturalism, we are NOT supposed to offend anyone, any religion, gender, race, culture, species, everyone has to be a winner and you get the picture. This has caused most of the world to become thin skinned babies who bitch and cry over the slightest offense. Muslims and those who follow Islam are perhaps the worst cry babies of all. What makes Mohammed and Islam off limits to any and criticism when it is still all right to trash Jesus, Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Mormons? This is what Mr. Westergaard was commenting against when he drew his cartoons. Islam is now trying very hard to get any and all criticism of Islam or Mohammed to be treated as blasphemy and hate speech or tactics. Take a hard look at the actions of the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) and how it has used the United Nations to further the OIC's agenda. Of course the UN is perhaps one the most useless organizations to ever be spawned upon humanity. This is a topic for another time.
