Bullet hits the bone or Twilight zone and more: Bit o' tunes for a looooonnnnggg week

Twilight Zone UK 12'' inch 1982 full length version extended: Golden Earring

The Wheel: Jerry Garcia

Jerry Garcia is best known for being a member of the most awesome group, The Grateful Dead. Garcia who sadly is no longer with us was an incredibly talented musician who could play just about any instrument. As an older Dead head who was fortunate enough to have gone to close to over 40 dead concerts, shows, back in the years when a Garcia led and fueled Grateful Dead was in his and the band's prime. The Beatles, Stones and the like? YOU can have them and keep them. I will take the West coast sound I grew up with any day. Toss in blues, jazz, country and classical, that is what works for me.

I've never heard that version of Desperados; heard the Highwaymen doing it of course ... I'll have to send that video to my uncle, he's a massive Billy Joe Shaver/Waylon fan. He told me once that when he dies he wants them to play Billy Joe Shaver's "The Real Deal" when they send him on his way. So we will.
