Tim Tebow thanks his Lord and Savior, oh no!

Updated: This came in from Duke C in a comment. I liked this so much I am adding it to the top of this post! Thank you Duke for your fine comment.
Tebow 316 yards. Roethlilberger 289 yards. Proverbs 28.9: "If anyone turns a deaf ear to My Instruction, even their prayers are detestable." The ESPN commentators after the game 'Tebowed' on their desks, Mocking God and his servant Tebow.

I liked Tim Tebow in college and I like him even more so now except that he plays for a team I dislike to the extreme.

Never been a donkey's fan and I never will.

That said, I can overlook the fact that he plays for the Denver Broncos. I picked them to win yesterday and I fleeced my buddy out of $50.00 which will be going towards my ever growing dental bill.

The fact that Tebow wears his FAITH on his sleeve and out in the open has upset a lot of people and many sportswriters. To them I say, too bad and get over it. There is NOTHING wrong with this and there are no rules against this. I pray there are never any rules against one professing his faith in professional sports.

Those that focus on this and overlook the gift that this man has been given need to look in the mirror and admit that their problem is looking right back at THEM.

Tebow's Biblical Game: 316 Yards Invokes Key Verse

Tim Tebowed and Denver rose as one.

The Broncos quarterback's 80-yard touchdown pass to receiver Demaryius Thomas on the first play of overtime against Pittsburgh both clinched Sunday's game and wrote another improbable chapter in Tebow's book of clutch plays to win high-pressure games.

His performance also borrowed a little magic from another famous book.

The devout Christian's stat line in Sunday's game mirrors the numbering of the Biblical passage that Tebow at times had painted on to his black eye paint during his career at the University of Florida -- John 3:16.

The passage reads, according to the New American Standard Bible, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

Officially, Tebow passed for 316 yards against the Steelers, completing 10 of 21 pass attempts -- meaning he passed for 31.6 yards per completion.

After his final pass was caught and brilliantly taken down field by Thomas, Tebow shrugged off three bad weeks -- when he threw for just one touchdown and four interceptions -- and took a knee and prayed in his classic style.

"First and foremost, I just want to thank my savior, the Lord, Jesus Christ," Tebow said at the post game press conference. "I am so thankful for the platform God has given me."

Next up for those on the Tebow bandwagon, a trip to New England to tackle Tom Brady and the Patriots in the AFC divisional playoff game on Saturday.

The only way the media and sports networks will accept Tebow is if he:

1. Kills a bunch of dogs.
2. Beats his girlfriend/wife.
3. Rapes a woman or even better a little girl.
4. Robs a liquor store.

After doing one of more of the above the media, sports networks, and liberal left will accept him with open arms.

Thanks to both Duke C and Findalis for your comments and to yours Findalis, yes that is what it will take for Tebow to get the honor that he deserves for his play this season.

Not to mention that he is a man of God, not afraid to show and share his faith with any all. He has worked with many pepole from many other cultures and races, embracing them all from his youth days to the present.

@Duke C,
I liked your comment so much it has been added to the top of the post.

Thanks so much for dropping by Patriot' Corner. Most find this a very INTERESTING site. As you might have noticed, it is not libtards or environazis or those from the left who are brain dead.

I am not concerned about the number of visitors of page visits. I do this for educating people about the horrors of islam and to show that liberalism is a terminal disease.

Hope you will return!
